    New Jabba...

I was just at my local comic book shop and got a good look at this Jabba. If not for the high price I would have gotten it for sure because it is decently articulated. It's got a swivel joint for what I would call Jabba's upper torso/neck and the shoulders and elbows both have ball joints. I don't recall seeing if he has any wrist articulation as well. If I ever see this thing in TRU I will be tempted to buy one, but knowing Hasbro they probably got a Legacy Collection version in the works and will not release it til XMas... Edit: Ohh, here are some pics http://www.rebelscum.com/tcwBPJabbasPalace.asp
  3. The only characters I want is Thanos and MODOK
  4. Sure thing Pizza Man Z! I'm still at work right now though, but I'll post some up for ya tonight. I would point you to marvellegends.net because they got some great pics of most of the first figures, but it seems their server is down right now. Edit: Here are the pics I promised:)
  5. Found these figs on Tuesday in Edmonton at the South Commons Wal-mart! Somebody beat me to the punch though, because all I was able to get was Spidey, Wolverine, Daredevil and big head Punisher:( Looks like the hunt for Ironman and Silver Surfer is still on! So far, Spidey and Daredevil are my favorites mostly due to their durability. Wolverine would've been up there too, but his upper torso joint is so loose, his torso rotates when I even pick him up. Here's some photos I took last night of Spidey.
  6. I'll pass on him because like some have said before, he seems too boxy. But then again my tastes are off, because I did by the brown Vector Prime thinking the brown on him would be copper like it was advertised on the back... damn those impulse purchases!
  7. Is that the one you wanted most from that wave? It would have been for me...
  8. Hi everyone, Here's my review for the new Cube and Stack WALL-E! Enjoy! Cube and Stack WALL-E
  9. Hello Everyone, I just launched my new website last week and am in the process of fine tuning it. Basically the site let's AF collectors review their figures online (scores, notes and photos). Please feel free to try it out and if anyone has any comments, suggestions or has observed any errors please let me know. At the moment, people can review figures for G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary, Star Wars 30th, Street Fighter, NECA Turtles, and Classic Superstars. If there are more figures that you would like to review, please post a list of the figures here as well and I will do my best to update the database accordingly. Although I consider this a beta test, I will try to keep all the data intact so rest assured your reviews will not be deleted (unless there are some serious data errors). Here's the link Action Figure Files Thanks everyone. PS: Here's an example of a review. http://actionfigurefiles.com/default.aspx?...ionFigureNo=114
  10. its kinda small....but he looks REALLY nice! my contact said that he's going to let me "pop" the case myself tomorrow morning....I CANT WAIT!!!!! Nice man. Looks like you'll be able to snag the Christian Bale variant. Thanks for the pics btw crOw! While the figures seem a bit small, you must all remember that size does not matter
  11. my wal mart says that you shoul be looking out on the 1st Thanks for the info man. I'll keep my eyes peeled and my gas tank filled.
  12. Thanks for the pics man. Looks like a great figure to me. Congrats on the find! If you have more pics, I'd like to see them! What is the release date for these? I think I read somewhere that May 2nd is the release date right?
  13. I like the original, but i wasn't sure if the sketched photo was of an action figure or just a drawing. Would sure be nice if you could take bigger pictures that I can use as a wallpaper though ...
  14. Yeah, I agree man. Here's a custom that appeared at SDCC 07. http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=vie...800&start=0
  15. Wow, if movie-leader Megatron were painted like that originally, I would have gladly bought one. Has Jin repainted any of the other movie figures? I'd love to see pics of them if he has.
  16. Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back IN!!!
  17. A buddy at work sent me this link. I wonder what happens in 2 hours? http://whysoserious.com/
  18. If you goto ebay, just enter the item number in the search bar and the item will appear in the results.
  19. Congrats on those finds man. It looks like Hasbro is not holding anything back with regards to articulation for this collection. I am greatly tempted to get all the figures because of the decent articulation and also the nifty coins. Hey Mace, where did you place those cuts on Mace Windu's kilt? I was gonna do this myself, but am unsure where I should place the cuts.
  20. Wouldn't this qualify as some form of date-rape?
  21. Thanks for the review Salvo. He sure looks like a great figure. Too bad about the small feet though, I guess it's hard to balance him doing some kung-fu kicks and such. Great job on the bottom 2 pics as well dude especially the coloring and lighting on the last picture. I recently just got into this line by buying myself Optimus Prime yesterday and was surprised by the durability and posability of these things. Needless to say I'm going to buy Megatron today and StarScream - if I can find one. Again thanks much for the pics man.
  22. Thanks for the heads up guys. I'll be sure not to turn the waist on my Mr. Freeze too far.
  23. I just managed to find both Azrael and Mr. Freeze today:) My Azrael figure has warped legs mostly due to the packaging I think. The figure is still great mainly due to the details on it - the metallic paint as well as the small St. Dumas logo on his breast are a really nice touch. Overall, the figures are great and I think these could easily give ML a run for their money. In fact, I think I like these figures more than my MLs, but this is mostly due to the fact that I'm an opener. These figures are real solid and made of a harder plastic than the MLs. This is a big plus for me, as there is a very little chance of joint tears/breaks when the plastic is harder. If only Mattel had made the MOTU figures with this type of articulation...
  24. Let's just hope the figures are of better quality than the Microman AvP series...
