  1. Glad people here in tni are more reasonable... Can't stand whiners from other sites.... They complain about the lack of supplies in some figures but when the line provide more versions or re-issues, they still complain...damn if you do, damn if you don't... This Walgreen version seems the coolest looking IMHO though..
  2. Try K-Mart bro. It's where I found mine just 2 weeks ago.
  3. Got a little lucky today at TRU.. Found an MP-Prime and a King Grimlock... Grimlock was sold for 50% if you buy the Prime... Plus 2 free movie passes. ... Better check your local TRUs to those who don't have either an MP Prime and/or Grimlock.
  4. Don't mean to be sarcastic, but like it's really what they were thinking about.28 yrs ago when they killed Prime and about 2/3 of the original Autobots. For millions of years they survived every skirmish they had with the deceptions, and they all died in one battle in the movie... More like insulting the audience's intelligence.
  5. troopers are great, but hasbro seems to be having difficulty with the human characters. this Anakin face looks Dorky, similar to the earlier releases like Obiwan.

    DC Hauls

its how it looked like in almost all of the figures ive seen. danny devito as penguin though looks awesome. it would have been better if they had it at 6 inches.

    DC Hauls

not a completist and im just mostly looking out for sales, here's my list of figures from DCUC, KBs sale of 2008-2009 (by 40-50% off) Some of Wave 2 All figures of Wave 3 All figures of Wave 4 Big Lots Sale of 2013 All Stars and the Green Lantern series (Jonn Jones, Star Sapphire, Indigo Atom, Scarecrow) Walmart and Kmarts Clearance sales, Dr Midnite, Hourman, Zatanna, Starman, Mary Batson, Copperhead, Hawk and Dove, the Luthor 5 pack, and the Apache Chief Series. All Stars on Sale; Green Arrow, Power Girl, Captain Marvel, Flash. not much, but I got all i needed.
  8. what made Gobots click for me, was Cykill's sense of humor, haha! He was more hilarious than Megatron who does nothing but nag Starscream, his wife. Lol.
  9. was just passing by a music store in a mall, and saw these. at full price, i may have not purchase the figures, but at 50%, i thought it was a good deal. toys are just unreasonably overpriced these days.
  10. for the Leila, nothing much changed, still same head, but they improved her eyes, Han Solo has a completely new head, it has that texture similar to the Series 1 Luke and unlike the first Han Solo, which was glossy and had a plastic feel. This new one looked like more of the movie character. Im assuming Obiwan may have a new head sculpt soon too.
  11. Saw a Leia figure last week, I noticed something was different with her, it looked like more of Carrie, bought it, thinking it was just a lucky find. Found a new Han Solo today, which looked like more of Harrison. It confirms that there are new head sculpts of the human figures previously released.
  12. to me, he is the only good figure among the 6 inch figures in the line.
  13. Wheeljack35, appreciate it man, for keeping us posted with the updates.
  14. ^saw the thundertank at Big Lots for $10, there were like 20 of those, grabbed one. I didn't realize the 6 inch Tygra was that scarce, I have one and don't remember having difficulty finding him. He's the best figure in the line, and I was hoping they would move on after that much improvement they did with Tygra. Too bad.
  15. I admit that Hasbro does the female characters better.. in some cases, MUCH better. but to me, Hasbro hasn't even begun to approach the craftsmanship that Toybiz gave us. I am curious to hear which Hasbro figures from the past few years have been blowing Toybiz away much agree with this. Toybiz is the benchmark for figures we collectors dreamed of for years. Looking at my Toy Biz Marvel Legends Juggernaut, Beast, Namor, Omega Red, Nightcrawler, etc, they're nearly the accurate representation of what we've seen in comics or the animated series. Each figure is distinct and unique. Largest collection of body molds from the Toybiz line, if there were repaints, one could hardly notice. Glad, Ive collected those. I dont think there would be any figure series as attentive to detail, and creativity as the Toybiz ML did.

  17. didnt like the way Obiwan and Han solo, were given plastic, shiny heads.
  18. Here is the box of the Simpsons house, the box alone is already awesome, be careful though when cutting through the outside tape of the outer packaging, the top cover of the Lego box is immediately underneath it...I thought I was, but I still scratched through it, as can be seen on the picture at the roof. Upset and bothered me for a couple of minutes, but got over it when I saw the thousands of pieces needed to be assembled. Will post the pic here and the feedback after its done.
  19. I was never a completist of a line, Im glad I dont have that drive. Toys are just so expensive now a days. I rather be in control of my purchases than the companies dictating to me what I "need" to buy. If Im not going to be happy with what I spend my money with, why buy it? Its like buying food you dont want to eat. I rather collect the main characters of another than buy some which Im hardly familiar with, just to complete a set. But that's just me. This is in no way to attack others with different preferences. If it satisfies you to complete a line, then you have my full respect for that.
  20. Buzzsaw Hordak? Is he out? apologies man, I meant Buzzoff. i just got mixed up with the Silverhawks villain. haha. i was hoping those would come out, during the BLs sale. but it didnt happen. so the hunting continues. Still glad and grateful to Big Lots that I got caught up through their sale and they were mostly those Ive missed. I had like 18 figures from them, King Greyskull, Prince Adam, Orko, Chief Cavernus, Man E Faes, Molarr, Skeletor, Syklone, Vykor, The Faceless One, Icarius, Count Marzo, Adora, Catra, Grizzlor, Snout Spout, Clawful and Moss Man. That is a nice haul from BL... You saved a lot of money... I was only able to find Moss Man and Catra... I wasn't planning on owning her but I couldn't pass her up for $10... yeah man. really did. for $10, I would get anything I could grab, and they dont have any issues like some thought. And the search too. I got 4 Big Lots around my place, so it was nostalgic of the hunts for toybiz marvel and dc universe figures.

  22. trap jaw, triklops, mekaneck and buzzsaw. most of the time im on field during the first half of the week, when most sales at Matty are scheduled. I would have missed a lot if not for the Matty Reissues and Big Lots.
  23. Bought mine last Sat after watching Pixel Dan's review video of it. Seems worthy for $200, you get a whole house solid all around with a well made interior; unlike some other themed sets which are solid outside but hallow in the inside or those only made of the facade and just the interior at the back. Plus it has a car, the garage and the complete Simpsons family mini figure set.... Pricey as it may seem, but compared to the other sets, which are much smaller, like Bilbo's shire house, for $80, the Simpson's house is a great deal.
  24. costs 200 bucks, plus shipping and tax, it'll be around, $220. Im thinking if its worth it..... I did grow up with duplo and lego, but Im not into these anymore, and, not much fan of Simpson's either, though Id watch it like once in 3 months.,,,As a collector's item, it is tempting, and knowing afterwards, it would probably skyrocket to $350 to $400 once supplies dry up....anyone bought it? hope to get some feedback.
