  1. just dont like the plastic like materials of of these live DC series figures, especially, the face and head parts. they look like cheap knock offs made from China. If you've been to Asia or South America, there are these fake figures sold on the side streets or shopping stalls, and that's how they look (and feel) like.
  2. man, been awhile since I posted, but this awesome news got me back to the TNI Forum...
  3. So long the original cast is there, I'm going to watch it...I've watched the 20th anniversary screening last year, i could only remember half of the scenes from the entire film, when my old man and I watched the first release, but still brings nostalgia. Too bad Egon's gone, but the remaining cast is still worth the ticket.
  4. Where'd you get it? Man, I don't know if I'd be glad that we don't get these figures in our stores, which me means I'm saving money or I'd be upset that we aren't. But I have to say, the thrill is not intense as during the era of TB ML and DCUC.
  5. That's awesome. It had a slow start. I was bored myself during the first few episodes but now the story is picking up. Hope they get a 2nd season.
  6. I have, at our nearby comic-action figure stores, which are raised $5-$10 more. Which is not bad.
  7. I am also part of this club and proud of it... This hobby became a lot more enjoyable the day I stopped being a completist... I agree with you man. I was still a completist during Toybiz ML, got almost every single figure from that line......but I look at some of them and I realize there were some which I could have been good without, plus figures are just too expensive these days.....and just picking out the best figures in the different lines would not only make the hunt more enjoyable but also that decision making whether you really want this figure or not and if it's worth to cost you your hard earned money, would add value to your collection.
  8. ^ be proud of it bro! It means mind over matter, self control...freedom from the hold of any manufacturers dictate, that completing would bring nirvana......lol!
  9. Hope,it doesn't get cancelled, its in 4th spot in the tv ratings.....can't believe batman was overpowered by 4 nerds. Lol!
  10. It wasn't that bad only til recently....Imho though. The 2000s were a good era for toys, with accurate likeness copies of the characters, Marvel,Legends, LOTR, the 4 inch JLU figures, then DC universe classics, Transformers universe and Young Justice. It's only like last year, to me that it really felt it declined. Except when BL released those motuc, dcuc and ghostbusters oversupply figures. After that it went downhill again. Guess, the main advantage there, is we get to save our money. Though Hasbro's 6 inch black series would lead me to check out some aisles every now and then. Like twice a month, but yeah, not as before, when every sat, my,itinerary would be a stopover on all stores with toy merchandise. Reminds me of KBs, just love those quick stops over their stores.
  11. ^lol! Yeah, the Ewoks. Wonder if I could resist picking them up if they're sculpted really well if they ever do come out. It's like one of the armies you can pose against the storm troopers. I've also been a cherry picker myself when it comes to figure collection in recent years, most especially now I have a family to support.....plus figures are just so expensive now a days.......so most definitely this black series is no exception.... though looking at the less important characters, they have ironically, better sculpts and paints than the main characters....so far I have Luke 1, Leila slave, Jabba, Darth Maul and Han Solo repack......still,waiting for,Darth Vader, storm troopers and Anakin to hit our store shelves.... Im still deciding whether to pick up the 12 council members if they come out....would be great though to sit them around a circle, like they're having a session. Do miss the days when I can collect the entire series like Toybiz ML.
  12. Skywalker was $27 and clone troopers were $35 in a nearby comic store...yeah I agree, they are underwhelming.
  13. Whats this? Tried posting my jabba's Pics using my ipad. That's what keeps cropping up.
  14. Jabba just came today at my city here in Ga. Lucky to have got to one.
  15. ^Appreciate that bro! Thanks for the tip. I'll try again tom after work, I was lucky last year with BL during the Motuc sale, they were accommodating enough to,go back and bring out the figures a day earlier before being put out for display...hopefully I would have the same luck at WGs.
  16. Is Wallgreens the new KBs? Just kidding....nothing yet here in Ga.... Went there today after I've read your posts, just some Legacy Thrones figures. Still, it's great to know WG is now carrying these collectibles. A new store for hunting figures.
  17. Agree with you bro. Or wait till they go on sale like that Prime which gone down to $90 with a 50% priced Grimlock .
  18. Glad people here in tni are more reasonable... Can't stand whiners from other sites.... They complain about the lack of supplies in some figures but when the line provide more versions or re-issues, they still complain...damn if you do, damn if you don't... This Walgreen version seems the coolest looking IMHO though..
  19. Try K-Mart bro. It's where I found mine just 2 weeks ago.
  20. Got a little lucky today at TRU.. Found an MP-Prime and a King Grimlock... Grimlock was sold for 50% if you buy the Prime... Plus 2 free movie passes. ... Better check your local TRUs to those who don't have either an MP Prime and/or Grimlock.
  21. Don't mean to be sarcastic, but like it's really what they were thinking about.28 yrs ago when they killed Prime and about 2/3 of the original Autobots. For millions of years they survived every skirmish they had with the deceptions, and they all died in one battle in the movie... More like insulting the audience's intelligence.
  22. troopers are great, but hasbro seems to be having difficulty with the human characters. this Anakin face looks Dorky, similar to the earlier releases like Obiwan.

    DC Hauls

its how it looked like in almost all of the figures ive seen. danny devito as penguin though looks awesome. it would have been better if they had it at 6 inches.
