just dont like the plastic like materials of of these live DC series figures, especially, the face and head parts. they look like cheap knock offs made from China. If you've been to Asia or South America, there are these fake figures sold on the side streets or shopping stalls, and that's how they look (and feel) like.

man, been awhile since I posted, but this awesome news got me back to the TNI Forum...
-
So long the original cast is there, I'm going to watch it...I've watched the 20th anniversary screening last year, i could only remember half of the scenes from the entire film, when my old man and I watched the first release, but still brings nostalgia. Too bad Egon's gone, but the remaining cast is still worth the ticket.

Where'd you get it? Man, I don't know if I'd be glad that we don't get these figures in our stores, which me means I'm saving money or I'd be upset that we aren't. But I have to say, the thrill is not intense as during the era of TB ML and DCUC.
-
That's awesome. It had a slow start. I was bored myself during the first few episodes but now the story is picking up. Hope they get a 2nd season.
-
I have, at our nearby comic-action figure stores, which are raised $5-$10 more. Which is not bad.

I am also part of this club and proud of it... This hobby became a lot more enjoyable the day I stopped being a completist... I agree with you man. I was still a completist during Toybiz ML, got almost every single figure from that line......but I look at some of them and I realize there were some which I could have been good without, plus figures are just too expensive these days.....and just picking out the best figures in the different lines would not only make the hunt more enjoyable but also that decision making whether you really want this figure or not and if it's worth to

^ be proud of it bro! It means mind over matter, self control...freedom from the hold of any manufacturers dictate, that completing would bring nirvana......lol!

Hope,it doesn't get cancelled, its in 4th spot in the tv ratings.....can't believe batman was overpowered by 4 nerds. Lol!

Anyone else just hate walking the toy aisles now?
burtm replied to GPM in ICT's topic in General Toy Talk
It wasn't that bad only til recently....Imho though. The 2000s were a good era for toys, with accurate likeness copies of the characters, Marvel,Legends, LOTR, the 4 inch JLU figures, then DC universe classics, Transformers universe and Young Justice. It's only like last year, to me that it really felt it declined. Except when BL released those motuc, dcuc and ghostbusters oversupply figures. After that it went downhill again. Guess, the main advantage there, is we get to save our money. Though Hasbro's 6 inch black series would lead me to check out some aisles every now and then. Like twi -
^lol! Yeah, the Ewoks. Wonder if I could resist picking them up if they're sculpted really well if they ever do come out. It's like one of the armies you can pose against the storm troopers. I've also been a cherry picker myself when it comes to figure collection in recent years, most especially now I have a family to support.....plus figures are just so expensive now a days.......so most definitely this black series is no exception.... though looking at the less important characters, they have ironically, better sculpts and paints than the main characters....so far I have Luke 1, Leila slav

Skywalker was $27 and clone troopers were $35 in a nearby comic store...yeah I agree, they are underwhelming.

Whats this? Tried posting my jabba's Pics using my ipad. That's what keeps cropping up.
-
Jabba just came today at my city here in Ga. Lucky to have got to one.

^Appreciate that bro! Thanks for the tip. I'll try again tom after work, I was lucky last year with BL during the Motuc sale, they were accommodating enough to,go back and bring out the figures a day earlier before being put out for display...hopefully I would have the same luck at WGs.
