1. My Targets stuck with mostly Wave 2 2. DID NOT see Walmart exclusive wave AT ALL at local Walmart. 3. Only seen Wave 3 at 1 Target last November. 4. My local Walmart doesnt seem to carry DCU Classics line. 5. Local TRU does not seem to have their exclusive 2 packs, on my most recent visit there. I need Batgirl.

He got his own toys. I thought that they went with Slaughter because Stallone/Rocky turned them down. I remember reading that Slaughter was intended to be a counterpoint to Big Van Vader, who they were supposedly negotiating with to be a COBRA. That fell through, but Slaughter was signed up anyway. No idea if there's any truth to that or not (as I read it in a not-exactly-for-smarts wrestling mag when I was younger, best as I can recall). In Bret Hart's book, he says that Slaughter was fired by Vince McMahon over this deal, which he supposedly made on his own at a larger percentage of royalties than the other WWF guys were getting under their deals at the time. *edit* Given the timelines, that seems to be a false recollection by Bret. Slaughter himself said , he was fired from WWE in 84/85(i forgot which yr it was) for wanting to take an extended vacation and Vince didnt give it to him. Thats why he signed w/ AWA for a couple years until it folded and thats why he came back to WWE in mid 90, Vince was gona make him a number 1 heel/world champion for more money.

Thats what I thought too. I was shocked when i was flipping through the channels 1 summer in 1988 to see him on AWA.

I nearly have all the original 82 Joes in 25th form minus Flash. It would nice if Hasbro could rerelease the silver padded version of Grand Slam so all the original 13 Joes have a foot stand. Also nice if they included a jump jet pack w/ gun.

I painted 1 of my 25th ann V1 mold similiarly like the comic book colors.

I just hope the movie gets good reviews/word of mouth and makes at least 50 million opening weekend. i just wished Hasbro/Paramount would bump up the release date earlier.

So far I been able to get Hawk, Scarlett/SE(from the Joe boxed set), Stalker(green), Breaker, Grand Slam, and Steeler. I will get Grunt when I have the chance.

Ther's like 14 more IG Destros coming out later this year, so I'm glad he didn't make it, but I do wish Battle Armor CC made it, funny how I hated that original figure, but love the 25th one. Those 2 are my FAVE in the line soo far and i was only able to get 1 of each.

I agree When I was talking to a grown son in the neighborhood after meeting me, told him what 1 of my hobby is(GI Joe), kung fu grip came to mind. GI Joe to him was the 12 in doll.

Only comic packs Ive seen are old ones, mostly issue 1, still numerous at Targets. Havent been to Walmart in a few weeks.

2 times at Walmart lately when I talk to the average consumer is helping them out with their toy purchases. Like last week help these 2 ladies on what Tf toys to buy. Last xmas helped this lady when she bought a bunch of Legendary comic book heroes toys(Savage dragon, Super patriot etc) Used the insider word variant when describing the 2 Super Patriot figures that were different.

After reading the most recent talking with a non fan(store employee), why do you talk with the average person at the store about GI Joe? You know they wont know anything about our hobby of ours.
