Hey Thanks guys for all your feedback and tell you that i have taken everything whether good or bad and actually used it to my advantage....ever since i posted GlAdiator i got alot of mixed reviews...alot to do with his scale.... well anyways...here is another custom that was done in 2005 and actually was done around or befoire Thanksgiving....yeah i knnow..i'm moving slow with the posting of customs.....lol...well here is ULTIMATE JUGGERNAUT.... RECIPE Head- No head...just Juggs Helmet Torso- HC Hulk Arms- HC HULK with ball joint shoulders from Juggs Legs- Juggernaut Calves- HC Hulk Boots- ShadowRun fig ( Goat looking chracter) This was pretty much alot like my other big figures...extended at the torso and the calves filled and sculpted over to mask and of the extensions....once that was done...it was basically a paint job.....OH WAIT....the helmet was definately something that i thought would have been easy but it was actually the biggest pain :shock: ....after i had finally filled in the gaps for the helmet i had to smooth it out....here is where i kept on finding small crevices here and there....so once again i would have to bring the sculpty back out...i did this three times....and trust me it can drive you crazy...lol....well anyways THANKS for viewing and once again...Critiques are welcomed!!!! PS. SHOUT OUT to JEZ for the inspiration on the pics....my very watered down version of his pics...lol.......... Thanks again guys!!!!

HAHA....beat you to it.....lol.....they definately deviated from the Ultimates.....comic book storyline....take a look at the upcoming previews for iltimates 2.....ok now for the review.....i liked it.....but it wasn't the best kinda animation...and some of teh voices...well i think they could have done better......aside from that nothing really to complain about....cheap too...bought it at TRU for 15 bucks....if it could hae only been somewhat darker animation and more grown up themed...it would have been a hit.....granted it was made for kiddies aswell as collectors.......

i agree....man....this means all the great stuff that had been planned might not get even used.....SHYT....i only hope that Hasbro is indeed smart enough to keep the ML crew....but they are a much bigger entity with cash in their eyes...milk it until it can't go anymore then throw away.....maybe TB can pivk it up again....who knows.....

bald wolverine...he was in an air fight with some mutant and the ship blew up....hence the burned look.... he also appears to be huge...jsut the way he is suppose to be

Ok guys after many months of Bsing and actually working…..here I present to you DOOMSDAY!!!!!…..i’ll be honest with you this was originally on my not to do list after my first two attempts where ehhh…..but learning as I did in 05 ( and this figure has been done for a while now…I believe since October) I sure wanted to try out a couple of new techniques and I think the figure aswell as my customer benefited from me learning more from the great customizes here on FWOOSH and other places such as Toy international and action-figure….shamless plugging…..as well as commandocustoms.com…… well I finally put this figure together and with the painting I think it came out nice….but I don’t know anything about the character so I don’t know if I missed certain details….but I will say when I put the other one I’m working on ebay…well I think it will do OK….since people have been asking for this guy for a while……well I hope it those good….. here is the recipe…. Head- War Hulk Torso- War Hulk arms- War hulk Hands- Old ToyBiz 5” line Destroyer (thanks JEZ) Legs- War Hulk Feet- Smart Hulk Now this might seem that it should have been a quick and easy repaint but I wanted to get that effect of actually having to work on something really hard….so I got complicated with it….at first I dremeled the head down until he was bald……I then cut the thighs mid way and extended them about half an inch….filled it in with regular epoxy putty and the the green stuff to give it that detailed look….once those where done and dried….i noticed that the knees where made almost on an angle….it gave the hulk that hunched over feeling…I didn’t want this cause in the comic book he is actually standing upright ….so what I did to correct this or change it….i dremeled the knee away….that way when you tried to straighten the knee out it would stop at the bended knee….i think this was great ….it really got me kinda excited that he wasn’t going to be hunched……well after that was done…..i moved onto the torso….looking at the extended legs I knew if I just left it like that that it would look funny so I decided to also add about half an inch to the bottom part of the abs….by doing this I almost knew for certain that the waist articulation would be lost….and it was….but oh well….once I extended it…once again used putty to fill it and then the green stuff for the detail after…..it was time to move to the boots….i realized that my first two attempts at this character before where flawed…. I had always just painted the boots in….not to mention the bone armor he has on his body which I will get to in a min….well I decided to sculpt him some boots that really have em look awesome…..so I went with the Thanos look boots….by this time he wasn’t out yet but I had studied the pics and thought that they would look cool especially with the added height he had…..well once they where done…including the folds…..i got ready for the hardest part of this whole custom….which was the bone armor around his body……man O man… I first started with his face….the way I approached this was basically doing a certain part of the face at a time….started with the bones going down his jaw and stopped right under the lower lip…let it dry and then go for the other side….once that was done moved onto the strands of hair he had….knocked all of them out in one sculpting…!!!! Once that was done moved onto the eyes and then the mouth…..and this was the hardest part cause of the waiting of the kneadatyte to dry….for the face….after that I started out on his forearms….i needed some sort of an anchor so that when I pressed with the kneadatyte it wouldn’t sink in…..in comes some old mcfarlane parts that actually looked like bones…I think they were part of the dark knight spawn….from series 24….well I glued them on and then went to work…sculpting the bone actually helped me learn more about this putty for some future projects that over the next few days you will see….also want to include that I also used about four pieces of actual broken glass on the legs and arms just so that I could get a feel for the jagged edges his bones where suppose to be like….well once both the legs and arms where done…I moved onto the shoulders….in comes Jin’s idea of using these spiky blue things he got from Michaels….man…they worked lovely!!! hmmm...you guys really let me have it...huh....lol....well i was going for a pissed off younger look....i thought i captured it....? besides ...i he does look better with the other 3 acolytes i made....i will take pics with them in it....its going to be a sea of red and purple....lol....as far as the paint apps go...i liked the dark shades on this...only because i'm a big fan of the dark shadow on figures such as the Mcfarlane figs....well i do appreciate your honesty....hopefully when i post him with the other acolytes you can see it maybe a lil different...Thanks guys!!!

Ok guys…here I have the MASTER OF MAGNETISM!!!!….MAGENTO….i know I know…I said I would never make customs of ML’s already released….but I broke that rule as you will see over the next upcoming customs….but here is the write up for this custom…. Recipe Head- Movie Mr. Fantastic (series 3)??? Not sure, the one were he is trying to hold back The THING Helmet- ML magneto (retooled) Torso and waist - Black Panther Arms(biceps)- ML Cyclops series 10 Forearms- Bullseye Hands came from fodder box…don’t know who…. Thighs- Wolverine Knees on down to the feet- Bulls Eye Cape came from some old figure….. Ok this would have been an easy custom except that I couldn’t get the freaking helmetto fit right….and that actually was the biggest problem….i had no paint rub issues when I made this one or anything loose but when I had to extend the helmet because he had a bid noggin…MAN O MAN….this drove me to actually putting this figure down for about a day or so…but anyways….what I did first was of course pick the pieces out, in this case I had already used similar recipes with the wolverine legs for Bishop and later with Sentry….so I figured I would once again try it on the new torso(which I’m not too crazy for) but decided to use it because I had wayYYYY too many of these suckers laying around….so after removing the arms and legs I replaced them with what I had in mind….Cyclops hands looked funny to me on the Bullseye forearms so I went back and realized that a lot of my customs as of lately have been without hand articulation…mainly because I don’t like it…so I went ahead and removed them…..I wanted one hand to be clenched in a fist while the other showed how he would be manipulating his powers….not to mention I wanted his hands to match the intensity in his face….which I think I captured…after that was done I went to the legs which again was easy b/c of previous use….when I made the boots…I had noticed somewhere that a person (I think it was Magnus) had repainted the boot straps….in a way I did the same thing but I also sculpted the middle strap in the boot….lol…I guess this is what sets it apart….in my own lil head atleast…lol…before attaching the cape I had to paint the back so that I would have any problems after it was attached….once that was done I attached the cape and found that the metal thingy around mags neck was too big….so instead of trying to find that would fit I just decided to sculpt it….in the end I am very happy with this custom….well guys I hope you enjoy!!!
