  2. Wheeljack bust: http://www.wickedcoolstuff.com/tranwheellim.html Hope busts/statues are acceptible.. DL
  3. Anybody know where I can download printable plans for paper TF's? DL
  4. That is friggin' sweet. He needs to post those sheets in one of the last photos ("in production"). I wanna make one of those. DL
  5. Reproduction Transformer parts You can also Google Transformer parts.. DL
  6. I think that was a Season 2 Episode. And I've seen a Black Gun with Grey Highlights before.....but never a Grey with Blue. Kinda hopeing the first waves of MPC Prime and 20th Prime have the grey gun and later ones will have the Black Gun. Right you are. It was season 2. Guess that's what I get for watching the last disc of season one and the first disc of season two in rapid succession.. Regardless, I'll likely be painting my Prime's gun black. Not sure if I should add the grey or not, though.. DL
  7. Reason being, somebody decided it looked nice. That, or it was a mistake, and would have cost too much to rectify. I have seen ALOT of representations of G1 Optimus Prime. I have never seen him with a grey/blue blaster. I -have- seen it black with grey highlight on the butt, in the season one episode where the Constructicons dismantled him and used his arm as a defensive weapon at the top of a tower in Megatron's "New Cybertron" (they were replacing New York with a Cybertron-looking city). DL
  8. Prime cost $90 - $100. The gun was free (and should've been black in the first place. Prime's blaster has NEVER been grey with sky-blue highlights). DL
  9. Hasbro's has a paper trailer, too, but theirs is permanently configured to "repair bay" mode. As for the grey gun.. as shown in the "alt smokescreen repaint" thread (or something similar to that), it's nothin' a little black paint can't fix. DL
  10. Marvel Comics, 'Transformers: Headmasters #1" http://webresources.transfans.com/images/c...ead_1/cover.htm DL
  11. I just picked up Alternators Smokescreen! TrU also now has Star Saber ("role-playing accessory") as well as the Dark Saber they've been carrying for a week or two now.
  12. Alternators, possibly. But there is no way MP OP was "designed for children to play with". It was designed for collectors, for the 20th anniversary. DL
  13. Where are you getting a $50 difference? Last I knew, Hasbro's version was only something like $20 cheaper..? And the higher price is worth it to me for the nicer box and not having that ugly "battle damage" (read: black/dark grey paint sprayed him). DL
  14. The only "paint chipping" complaints I've read so far have pertained to BT Smokescreen and/or Sideswipe, which is what I think he was referring to, since he ended his post with "return my smokey". DL
  15. Hasbro's Prime is identical to Takara's, except for the cut off smokestacks and "battle damage" paint. ...including the die-cast bits. And I don't think you chipping the paint while transforming Smokescreen counts as "defective". DL
  16. ...What? Tom I'll see your "what?" and raise you a "wtf??" DL
  17. heh.. while watching my TF DVD's this morning, I found another TF we could've used for round 2: "Autobot X" or "Autobot Spike". (Sparkplug created Autobot X out of "some extra Autobot parts and a whole lotta human ingenuity", but it was insane and started trashing the Ark and was shut down. Then Spike got hurt when Bumblebee got blasted with Spike inside, and they transferred Spike's mind into Autobot X while the doctors repaired his injuries.) DL
  18. It's just Hasbro's way of offloading all their over-produced/overstocked Beast Wars and RiD toys. They're nothing but repaints of those two lines (at least, every one I've seen in "Universe" packaging has been) DL
  19. Funny, I thought they originated with a set of TF's that were supposed to be "spies", and the heat-sticker revealed their "true allegiance". (or did I imagine those ads?) Uh.. they "already put a autobot logo on alts" because they're Autobots, and 'Bots and 'Cons always have a standard allegiance insignia. As for heat-sensitive paint for the symbols.. do you really want to pay Masterpiece OP prices for BT and Alt? Because you -know- that's what they'd do, claiming that heat-sensitive paint is expensive. ..wha? That doesn't make any sense at all. DL
  20. Oh, yeah! My supplier's shipment of MP OP is on its way from Japan! @yipee@ Boo-yah!! DL
  21. Only thing I got this week was TF: Energon #19. I wanted to get Alt Smokescreen, but TrU sucks for TFs... DL
  22. "Sacrilege" was putting that lame sales gimmick on 'em in the first place. C'mon.. did you -really- need a "rub here" insignia to figure out if you had an Autobot or a Decepticon? Were there really some kids who completely missed the Autobot/Decepticon packaging? Nevermind that they also had regular insignia... I ESPECIALLY disliked the fact that they put those things on EVERY G1 released after the marketing department (or whomever) came up with it. Did ANYBODY need a thermal sticker to reveal the "secret allegiance" of Optimus Freakin' Prime? DL
  23. The stacks are stunted because of US safety regs. Some kid might conceivably poke his eye out, y'know.. Same reason G1 prime's stacks were cut off (in later shipments, anyway), as well as the re-issue. Damn incompetent children.. ruining things for us adults... DL
