  1. I'm a big fan of the Generations Data Disks (most likely because I wasn't able to have any casettes when I was young). I have all 6 of Decepticon discs (I have the ones that came with FOC Soundwave and Soundblaster as well as the ones that came in the 2-packs). I just picked up FOC Blaster, and the Steeljaw disk that comes with it seems....cheap. I'm not really sure what it is, but the plastic seems like it's of a lesser quality. Or maybe it wasn't finished/polished like the Decepticon ones. Does anyone else feel this way? Is their Steeljaw cheaper than the previous disks?
  2. Thanks for your help, guys! I ended up picking the PRiD version. Though the FE version does have more detail in robot mode, I like the simplified transformation of the PRiD. It's just easier to play with. The only thing that's lacking is the double blades. Now I just have to find another one so that she can dual-wield!
  3. Haha! This is the exact article that got me interested in the Arcee bots! Well done. :-)
  4. I know I'm late to the game, but I've started seeing the Transformers Prime Arcee figs, and I'm totally impressed. Which do you guys like more (and why), The TF Prime First Edition Arcee (which has been re-released) of the TF Prime Robots In Disguise Arcee? I don't know if my collection needs both as they're pretty similar and cost the same.
  5. What are your thoughts on the new TMNT Lego sets? I'm a huge Lego fan, and I do like that Lego is skewing towards playability with the annouced sets so far. However, I'm not really impressed with the sets as a whole. Aside from the Turtle Van, things like a sewer skiff don't impress me. I do think the minifigures look amazing, though. Like with the LOTR Lego sets for me, I think I will just focus on collecting the minifigs.
  6. If their previous work is any indication, though I don't like the 6th Aerialbot, I think it might make not-Superion look totally badass. They've done so much for the advancement of 3rd Party Transformers that i will give them the benefit of the doubt. To be honest, my wife would never let me spend so much money anyway, even if it was for 6 bots
  7. Does anyone know if Toynami is still planning to eventually release a Robotech Masterpiece Marcus Rush edition Alpha Fighter? I've read things that point to yes and things that point to no. Unfortunately, all of the news I've read is from a couple of years ago (I guess I shouldn't really call it "news" at that point), so I don't know which report is still accurate. It looks like most of the online retailers have a Shadow Beta Fighter available for pre-order (to be released in November). The Beta fighters have all gotten great reviews, so I was hoping to pick one up. However, I don't want to get a Beta Fighter without an Alpha Fighter. All of the previous Shadow Alpha Fighters (Sue Graham edition, Maia Sterling edition) have gotten poor reviews, but they've gotten better with each consecutive release (starting with the Scott Bernard edition which also got poor reviews), so I was hoping the Marcus Rush Alpha might have solved the issues. Of course, the release date for the Marcus Alpha has gotten pushed back so many times, i don't actually know if it will be released at all. Does anyone know? Any assistance would be appreciated.
