  1. How about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. HUMVEE Strategic Tactical Armored logistics attacK Evac Recon Humvee just tossing that out there.
  2. here is a link to my display i started a thread a while back..hope u all enjoy it! http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?showtopic=2082347
  3. I have 3 of the original Flaggs, one on display and 2 in storage, I would buy the new one, but if is made like the new "skystriker" (an insult to the 1st issue I might add @hmmm@ .) then I wouldnt bother taking it out of the box..
  4. Thanks for all of the compliments guys!
  5. Yea most of them are 100 percent complete, only a few aren't and they are missing hard to find parts like a tow cable for the Wolverine, or Hardtop's mic & gun for the Defiant, the USS FLAGG is complete, and THAT was a tough one, when i got it the tower was REALLY yellowed and missing about 60 percent of its parts overall, however, I used a trick i learned on here about using 30 vol clear peroxide and sunlight to bleach out the yellowing WITHOUT damaging the stickers. Its amazing what 10 gallons of peroxide, 3 hours of sunlight for each part, and some clear totes from Walmart can do! since then any playset or vehicle that is yellowed recives that treatment. even works great on figures too! My snowjob and Storm Shadow are proof!
  6. lol its actually my "man-house" I've got all of my various toy collections out there.. 11x 23ft building powered, a/c, heat, cable, 5.1 surround sound and projection system to watch all of my cartoons on! BTW Xhair's your collection is very nice! I like the dioramic style you use to display it

  9. Hey all, every once in a while I see some awesome collections posted on here, and after XHAIR's awesome display of his Joe room, I thought I would share mine, there are alot of pics, sorry about that! Hope you all enjoy!
  10. I have 3 of the original ones on the deck of my Flagg and I just want to get one for comparison to the original mold, although the cockpit detail is much better than the first incarnation of this jet. Its beautiful overall. its the SDCC exclusive I am dying to have..
  11. Not that our Walmart is ant good anyways but Kinston NC has stopped the line as well..
  12. Id like to see them start from 1982 and completely re issue the entire Joe line up till about 1992. same molds, colors, plastic and YES THE O RING! I would LOVE to be able to have my son see the same toys in the SAME PACKAGING as I did growing up. I know it wont happen,, but hey, its nice to dream.

  15. my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. have faith that things will come out as best as they can.
  16. Not NO @grumpy@ but HELL NO @firedevil@
  17. Hasbro sucks. The lack of imagination, effort, and all around give-a-crap that was so dominate in the 80's is LONG gone and I personally have given up on any hope of seeing it return. I mean really, how many times can you re-use parts until what you end up with is basically the exact same figure with possibly a diffrent head and color scheme. I mean, seriously?
  18. I reject your reality and substitute my own!

  19. I love mine as well, I never had one as a kid, managed to get a rather beat up one last year and gave it alot of TLC and its now 100% complete
  20. I want to kill this ----.. slowly and f---ing deliberatly... i want to peel off her skin like a bananna and pour a mixture of lemon juice and alcohol onto the exposed flesh. and thats just the opening act. this makes me sound as sick as she is.. but my wife and i just had a baby boy. I read this and a fury and rage burns in me so deep that its almost tangible. i hope this demon whore burns.. and slowly.
  21. its a damned movie.. get the f**k over it already by making a big deal about it and splashing it all over the media and on forums you make it more than it should be, giving it more publicity than it deserves, is it racism? possibly, is it wrong, yes, is it worth all this bullshit? no. its not a directors job to make sure your kids grow up with a tolerance and acceptance of other races its the parents, and that includes teching kids when to ignore ignorance when they see it and to treat all races with respect. Even when the offended races be it what ever color they are dont share the same sentiment. let it go. get over it. move on.
  22. What GI Joe means to me: i grew up in a time where America thought itself invincible. The cold war was on and the American way of life was considered the best way of living. GIJOE represented the best of America at that time. They stood for truth justice and most of all duty and honor and doing the right thing regardless of anyone's opinion. The figures were more than toys to me. They were literal representations of what it was to be a hero.( at least to an 8 yr old kid) My first joe was Snakeyes (as it was many ppls) I remember the awe at staring at the all black body and thinking "man even good guys wear black!" I also grew up lonely i had no brothers or sisters to share my love of joes and lived out in the country where it took about 40 mins to get to town. my cousins were close by but were way too small to understand how cool the toys were or what they were even about. They became friends. I know it sounds crazy but its true. the imagination works wonders when it has the time. When Hasbro came out with the 25 ann line, i felt like i was seeing old friends again.. i have the entire single carded collection and have no shame as to tell you that i still talk to my toys. lol I still think that GI JOE still represents the best of America. If you dont think so, talk to a fellow collector, even someone you dont know who collects. you can instantly connect with them on that level, and by doing so bring you closer together. I have a baby due in July and from the time he is old enough to understand I will share my passion and love of all things joe with him, so he and I can make new memories with the toys i love best.
