GI Joe Pit Commando, the sheer amount of accessories is what puts him over the edge. He's like Shockwave taken to the 10th power. I need an army of this guy. Goes perfect with the Rhino exclusive I snagged from Target. This figure has become my de facto greenshirt. I've only seen the one I picked up on the racks so far, but I plan on grabbing one every time I see it. Who's got your vote for best ROC figure? (I didn't even think I'd like this line when it first came out, but I was suprised as all get out.)

Bummer they never came out, maybe in time for Christmas?

The Soda Tax: Big government? No, massive government!
Ren replied to yojoebro82's topic in Action Figures
In AMERICA, soda flows like the SALMON of Capistrano. -
Like the crazy eyed guero, same as any other day!

Well consider the fact that the movie's out on DVD in a matter of weeks, seems to me the movie theater's just trying to cash in before that, and for most of my life, summer blockbusters were in the cheap theater in October, no matter what the movie, unles it was being consider for an Oscar or whatnot.

Toys (even DCUC) have been very low priority for me in 2009.

My exclusives arrived quick last year, with cheaper shipping than Matty Collector.

I only want the Wal-Mart packs to further my 25th collection.
-
I can take a look. There are 8 Walmarts here and I found them at ONE. I don't know if that means they are just starting to appear...or non of my Walmarts bothered. There were 2 packs of each. Sounds good, let me know.

If anyone wants to grab the Monkeywrench pack for me they will be rewarded handsomely.

I like it a lot. good move, the resolution seems sharper too.

Thanks for the heads up Wheeljack, waited for the ad to show up and finally got my Rhino after years of regretting missing out on the DTC one, well worth the 40 bucks, very nice big Joe vehicle. Wish they changed the footpegs to allow for 25th figures, but oh well. Also grabbed a Baroness and Target exclusive SE w/ VvV streetbike repaint. Adding decal and weapons was a nice touch for both Rampage (Heavy Metal) and SE.

more pics http://nicekicks.com/2009/07/nike-zoom-sha...e-storm-shadow/ here's Destro http://nicekicks.com/2009/08/nike-hyperize...ro-gi-joe-pack/ And ol' Cobra Commander himself http://nicekicks.com/2009/07/nike-alpholut...obra-commander/ All in vintage style boxes in chraracter colors with huge Cobra logos on the tongue (and a Clan logo on the back of SS), of course. Nike did the same thing for the Transformers movie with Soundwave, Megatron, and Bumblebee shoes all in vintage G1 style packaging. Like what you see? You don't know scalpers until you run across sneakerhead scalpers. They're the scalpers that toy scalpers look up to as role models. I'm ballparking they'll be over $250 a pair on ebay, don't know for sure but both sets of shoes are extremely limited edition.

2/2 I like what I hear so far!

Why does it matter what the reviews say, we're all gonna see it anyways!

They've been folding stuff like this with the Star Wars figs for years, bugs me to no end!

Is that the closest IMAX............. or does The Wire get to hobnob with Hasbro Execs at the invite only after party?
-
I'm stoked on Flash, and thanks for sharing the pics!

Have you dropped a c-note yet? Was it worth it? The sheer weight of the toy spiked my gimme gimme want wants this afternoon. It sure isn't the Pit from my childhood, but as a bigass Joe vehicle................

Haven't seen anything there since VvV, a few years back, there was reports of the original comic packs being there, but I never found any and never saw any proof.
-
I'm a fan of both, but not for 20 bucks apiece.

GI Joe and He man had the longest stretch of new toys during the 80's. Transformers were very pricey, and Star Wars fizzed out by '85. GI Joe was the most popular by far, with a full decade of strong sales, and plenty of price points for parents to choose from.

Good review, and the fact that Mister Clown sounds like Bruce the Performance Artist (from Family Guy) is bonus frosting on the cake! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXIJz7_MDMo #US1#
