  1. I actually had thought that Fade-Out might've passed a couple of years ago when he didn't post or lurk for a looong time.
  2. Still a great collection, except for the giants stuff. And I still need to post my pics, talk about procrastinating.
  3. Yup, same with Wal-Marts, but all the Wally's and Freddy's around me are stuffed with just the pegwarmers.
  4. I have about 95 perecent of a WHALE, need spare parts to complete!!! If they did make a new one, what are the chances it's be the same color scheme.
  5. hot, of course finding the smallest model on the continent to stand next to her doesn't hurt.
  6. Was that in the barbie section? (you know, girls, self image, fugedabboutit)
  7. lol, thanks guys, we're excited!
  8. I can't believe I forgot to tell TNI! Due date's May 3rd! This will be our second. I have a son already age ten. He grew up with a healthy dose of MOTU, Joe, TF's, etc. Now it's her turn to spoil our daughter with my little ponies and care bears. If there was any time to release a new She-Ra line and cartoon, this would be it!
  9. Only if they ever make it up to the Pacific Northwest, Seattle or Portland.

    Bad news

Nevermore, best wishes to you and your family during this difficult time.
  11. Heroes is pretty bad. Went from a good show to boring so fast.
  12. Nahhh, Mencia blew chunks so hard it made me spew!
  13. I agree Jay, I seriously doubt Jimmy would go on Jay's show and talk to him like that without Jay knowing about it in advance. Leno was way to casual about the statments. Funniest 10/10 ever, btw.
  14. Larry Miller is awesome, guess who is NOT funny...........................Ned Arnel Mencía!
  15. Nope, I voted don't care. They're both rich, why worry?
  16. Zach Galifianakis is hilarious, hasn't let me down in the make-with-the-funny department yet. Close second and 1st for edginess is Louis CK, probably closest to my personality and attitude. Rounding 3rd is Patton Oswalt, bonafide comic book geek and funny funny man. Now 3 I used to enjoy, now I can barely tolerate. David Cross, don't know why I thought he was funny. I liked him on Mr. Show and Arrested Development, but in hindsight it probably for Bob Odenkirk and AD's writing staff. His standup is condescending and angry, not a good mix. 2nd Sara Silverman, don't understand why I thought she was funny either, lame jokes that are dirty just for the hell of it, with hardly a punchline to be found. Last but not least, Robin Williams. One of the first on my stop it already list. Even his standup from the seventies is lame. Bouncing around sweating like crazy doing the same voices for 30 years is sad. Black Guy voice, middle eastern voice, ignorant redneck voice, rinse, repeat. Saw his new HBO standup for about 5 minutes and cancelled the service. Curb your Enthusiasmwas over for the year anyways. Honorable mentions for comedians I like, Michael Ian Black, Dennis Miller.

    3D TVs

As long as you have to wear glasses to watch, I'll avoid it like the plague (the plague being blu-ray, of course).
  18. Make me a mod, I'll solve the newb problems. And show more awesome funny pics Just a taste people..............
  19. Who here would be pissed if your current employer paid you 40 million dollars to not work for two years?
  20. Bummer dude, I know you loved working there. That's one of the downsides of retail, high employee turnover and a constant stream of new bosses wandering in and out of departments. It's too easy to run into a superior who decided they didn't like you on day one. I worked retail in my early twenties for Nike, Adidas, Chevron, among others, and it is not easy. Probably some of the most tedious jobs around, with angry supervisors and customers waiting for you to slip up. 8 years is a long time, they should have taken that into consideration, possibly let you transfer departments. On the bright side, the job market is slightly up, so good luck!
  21. Way busier than it was last year, and I've been hearing it on the news lately that parents are taking kids to "safe community events". Not the case in Portland, I might run out of candy! I can barely sit down for the World Series without a knock at the door. (By the way I kinda like watching the WS on Halloween, different, didn't think I would, but I do!)
