  1. Yeah, he's right, Forcehunter, I've seen at least five members offer to distibute 6-packs for cost+s&h. You could have gotten damn near 2 for the price you paid for one. Never be shy to ask for a helping hand around here. TNI members are some of the nicest people, very generous and honest joe collectors who don't mind helpin' each other out!!
  2. Sorry, I was just fuming when I was typing, my bad. I'm sure everyone knows I meant G.I Joe center, I stand corrected.
  3. No, you're opinion's valid, I'm sorry if you thought I was undermining your opinions, I respect every Joe fan's opinions. What I meant was that it's similar to voting. Such as the democratic primaries. Suppose you voted for Kerry(83-86 joes), and I voted for Dean(87-92 joes). My vote was still important, and Kerry's supporters sure thought my vote was important, as it meant less support for Kerry. But Kerry's won the majority of primary votes. So my "vote" or opinion, while important to me and others, didn't make much of a difference to the outcome, although my voting for Dean(87-92 joes) was more important than not "voting" or having an opinion at all. The majority voted for Kerry, so I have to accept the fact that Kerry(83-86 joes) is the frontrunner. Hopefully I swayed some "Kerry" supporters into changing their stance to become "Dean" supporters along the way. And since the "primaries"(this debate) haven't been decided yet until every person who votes has had a chance, there's still a chance "Dean" could come out on top. But based on the majority's opinion, it looks like "Kerry" will remain the frontrunner. (By the way I'm Republican, just using this ancedote to prove a point) @peace@
  4. @firedevil@ @firedevil@ I'm still pissed is this topic a joke? 35bucks? It's not april fool's day, is it?? @firedevil@ @firedevil@
  5. Yeah, I'll hit 'em up in a few years with those prices...Let's see.....at LEAST 7 bills each times 6 figures= 42 bills(if bought induvidually)....that makes the EBAY scalpers cheap!!!! What a rip....I better not catch GI JOE HQ hoarding my TRU stash and reselling them. They're hard to find not cause of army builders, but GI JOE HQ and ebay scalpers wiping entire TRU regions of their joes. You should have posted this ad in the Cobra Infantry thread, I think this topic's startin' to spam up the message board. keep it in one thread, please. @firedevil@ Wow 5 whole dollars of scalper prices gimme a break. G.I. JOE HQ should be selling them cost+s&h if they want to win more customers to their other joe stuff. @firedevil@
  6. Nice site, be should to keep us up to date on those collection pics,( my faves)
  7. Same here, Safety reasons as well, or simply the more recent we joined the site, the more clever our more recent nickname!!

I read Yo Joe!, but this is the only one I particapate in. I've been meaning to register at YoJoe!, just haven't got around to it.
  9. I'ma head right to wal-mart manana. If they have any, they'll be in clearance!!!
  10. @loll@ yes, that has alwas bothered me a bit, too. But I guess I've just glossed over it just like the old "How does Superman cut his hair, isn't it invincible, too?", or "Why does Plasticman wear sucha wack-job uniform?" , Oh well,at least the action figure Destro's mouth doesn't move. @loll@ #US1#
  11. amen. finally someone seems to recognize the difference between opinion and fact. I think it's safe to say that we're all expressing opinions, and sometimes a certain point might be "popular" but it's not a peer preesure high school herd of sheep jumpin' off a cliff kinda popular, but the most logical choice for a large number of Joe fans who have had years to refine their near expert opinion. For instance, a some people hate Picassos painting's. But a large number of the art community, including esteemed opinions of art critics and art professors, think he's a genius and his works masterpieces. Now I think it's a safe bet that the majority of peoples opinions aren't "misguided" , but rather the small minority of naysayers. Popular means more than just "crap", for on a lot of issues, including the 83-86 RAH, the "popular opinion" is popular not just because it's the joes we remember most fondly, but because the majority has established over the years that 1983-1986 the characters, plots, figures, playsets, and vehicle design of G.I. Joe was at the creative peak. #US1#
  12. What's the most/least you've paid for a straight arm joe? I got my rock n roll complete basically free for buying a complete manta.
  13. I would assume that Baroness is level one, right there with Destro, Same with SS. I would even go as far as saying Zarana is level one along w/ Zartan, because if I recall she was close w/ CC, even closer than CC was with Baroness as far as internal confidants go.
  14. @smilepunch@ @grumpy@ @hmmm@ Mostly she's a cool about it...she's thinks it's geeky in a cute way. As long as I don't go overboard on ebay and keep a social life and shower her with attention. But sometimes......hit the deck!!She's fed up!! Run for the hills and don't look back until mornin'!!! @smilepunch@ @grumpy@ @hmmm@ LOL!!! That is great! Here here @bananna@ Am I right or am I right...I think that's the case for most of us w/ significant others. Well, she does like the strictly military flair of series one, and also SS and Budo, 'cause she's half-Japanese!!

    I Hate Neon >=[

Well it's not supposed to be a friggin' billboard!! I think a few more red highlights would be all it needed, but that's just icing on the cake. The paint transforms this apc into a jet black evil empire that strikes terror into the heart of Joes like me!!!

Evil personified!!! Even better than your rattler, if that's possible!!! I think you might have to open a Cobra auto body shop, for real!!!! #tank# @cobracommander@

  19. How did you pull that one off? Searchin' for wrongly described ebay auctions? You're talkin' 'bout loose, of course. If you got MOC's that cheap, I'd be pullin' my hair out right now!! No...just the loose guys. It takes an initial investment, though. I buy lots and resell the figures I don't want to keep. Actually, come to think about it, I have never paid a penny for any GI Joe I have. Yeah but that's the smart way to do it....No angry g/f's or wifes going that route. #US1# I agree - I used to get such a hard time for all the money I spent on toys Not cool.... I still do [sniff] [whimper] I'm probably gonna catch hell bein' on this computer now![marty cowers in fear at the thought]
  20. Same here, and that's unfortunate. We could've used these versions as the Crimson Guard Motorcycle when the crimson guard troop builder comes out, and used the original bikes as the regular viper grunt bikes.

  22. Yeah, but the dreadnoks did hold more sway with CC than some nameless troops, using the revenge of cobra mini-series as a reference.
  23. Hey my family photo album...where'd ya get that, I though I lost it!!
  24. 2 of the most collectible though , on the bright side!!
