Agreed, Hasbro is investing too much in movie lines, Thor is on clearance, and the Cap. toys are big time shelve warmers right now too. Another GI Joe movie line is going to clog the shelves up until 2014, I still see the old movie figs on shelves around Portland. Very disappointed. Weren't they supposed to come out with a DTC program soon? Haven't seen anything about that at SDCC.

Good points, thanks for the input everybody. Devilbat, I remember your trials and tribulations regarding selling figures. But I would reinvest the cash in my collection, and concentrate the profit into a real nice, albeit smaller showpiece. Joe, 12oo bucks a table? Sheesh, pass big time. Dake and Crimson Twins, a lot of mainland collectors would balk at Hawaiian shipping cost. Crimson, If I move I'm calling you up real quick, would be nice to see a friendly face. Goldbug and Flounnder, as painful and tedious as it is, your advice makes perfect sense. That's the route I'm gonna go. jjlecarlos, MOC, mostly.

More power to him, I've enjoyed a few episodes of this show over the last year, most are very informative and entertaining! I just dislike the commercials that play before the pop culture network video on the webpage, and of course the toy reviews of stuff I don't care about(Yes I know impossible to please). But Pixel Dan should post here more often, promote with JayC!! And dish the dirt why the other original co-hosts disappeared! Details, extra juicy...

I have and still do think Big Boa was cool. A lot of other collectors dislike him. But when I got him back when I was a kid I knew he came to do one thing and one thing only: kick Joe Ass, Cobra's answer to Sgt. Slaughter. I still think he looks cool, love the big Cobra logo on the gloves, and the mouthpiece. That is a sweet Batman movie setup, never knew I needed one, until now...I loved my movie Batman when it came out, gave my Super Powers version a run for his money.

Gentlemen, My company might be relocating me in the next year to Hawaii, and looking around I decided that the 25th stuff is taking up way to much space. I prefer the original 82-94 Joes I grew up with in the first place(First Joe ever? Breaker, from a drugstore back in late '82). I enjoyed hunting for the 25th stuff , they looked great side by side on an entire wall, but I'm considering selling them and buying a nice trophy playset in return, I can think of two problems selling them as a complete set.. First, shipping would be astronomical, size of kitchen stove, not even counting the vehicles. Second, most hardcore collectors already have the 25th figures they need, why buy an entire collection? Selling them individually would be a loss as well, army builders might do alright, but sickly green Zartan? Anyways, just wondering what your thoughts are. Some crown jewels include Yellow Stalker, couple PDD's, convention CC, all the 25th Target Exclusives, last DVD set (loose), plus almost a double set of 25th figs loose, complete, Notables missing are the last series Blowtorch and Firefly, Rowdy Roddy, Sgt. Slaughter and a few of the really lame comic packs (I'm looking at you Deep-Six) Would it be worth setting up a booth at the convention? ...... (Think I could recoup the expense, and survive not buying out another vendor and having a long walk home?) Maybe take them to the convention and walk out with a decent trade? Considering selling all my DCUC stuff off too, but I know the majority of 'em will be pennies on the dollar.

Passed on this and the fury at Ross, just a little too funky looking for me. With my luck I'll probably change my mind when I can't find them anywhere for less than 24.99.....

My Target had a display box jammed full of SE and shock troopers, I picked up 2 ST's and 1 SE, SE is the greatest action figure of all time, everything you could possibly want, very stoked hasbro gave him an alternate head instead of a stupid "rare variant chase", highly recommended!

whether or not he hooks forum buddies up with deals is irrelevant. He swung by Ross and snags 5 sets two days in a row for roughly 30 bucks, wiped the place clean. Then flipped 'em on ebay for over $300 profit. Meanwhile collectors like Clam are left empty handed, Sorry dude that's scalping, and a scalper. Walks like a duck and talks like a duck.............

Wow, I've never seen a Hasbro sellout this fast, I like others doubt they were ever actually on the site for sale. Pimp Daddy Destro Gold didn't even sell out that quick.

I noticed that too, very strange. 6 inch figures should sell for around 10 bucks, 3 3/4 in the 4-6 buck range. I'm not supporting the line at 10 bucks a figure. And repaint vehicles are priced too high at 20, should be 10-15 bucks. Bummer, but POC will end up like ROC, and won't be at my house unless they were clearance buys.

Just buy a used PS2 on the cheap, they're easy to find.

Bonus is that there's a better chance they'll go into clearance prices faster than Joe stuff.
