  1. Very nice, too bad the exclusive sold out so quick, I'd feel like a mere mortal to the owners of the exclusive version if I had the inferior plain jane regular version. For the price of that regular version, I'd rather have the MP Grimlock.
  2. Bust out your Dodgers and your whatnots, these figures are awesome. I really should grab the vehicles, who's got the complete subset?
  3. Awesome, thanks Arrow, INPUT....NEED....MORE.....INPUT!
  4. SS and Soundwave for me, I have only bought Thor and Boba so far, so these 4 are must haves the rest on a case by case basis.

  6. Exactly, I believe that the solution is just Hydrogen Peroxide with a minimum 30% concentration stated directly on the bottle, which I believe is quite a bit stonger than the normal Hydrogen Peroxide you find in the brown bottle at the drugstore. He said it's available @ health stores? I never seen it, although health stores and I seldom cross paths.
  7. LA Times did a great article on him back in 2003, I wonder what will happen to his collection? He never willed it to anyone.....
  8. True Arrow, But I noticed on his Transformer clones, (The cheap eraser looking ones) he bends them back and forth showing how the plastic is still soft and flexible. It's important to note just as the original poster does that this is early testing, so exercise caution on what toys you subject to this treatment.
  9. He's done a bunch, although I'm not sure what the long term effects are, ton of pictures of his results. http://www.thetf.net/forum_posts-TID-13204-PN-1-TPN-1.htm
  10. The results look promising, look at his Ratchets and Seacons, even seems to improve the colored toys. I'm gonna try it on an old Snow Job I have that's yellowed pretty badly. http://www.thetf.net/forum_posts-TID-13204-PN-1-TPN-1.htm

    WHOA!!!

    Looks like it's in stock
  12. but not as cool as the 20 or so I bought in the 25th line, no troop building these in my "office"
  13. So theoretically it would be cheaper than 62 on account of all the packaging and separate shipping they would hafta pay if the set was broken up, versus jammed into one big rectangular box.

    Flag Points

I figured it was selling in stratospheric volumes, it has to (unscientific guesstimate) be their second strongest selling line after Star Wars, it looks to me like Spider Man or Marvel Legends is a distant third. (I'm not counting Mighty Muggs and Superhero squad, since they theme jump)
  15. See I already have a couple of red Hiss tanks from that KB exclusive a couple years ago, plus an original, a 25th black, and 2 25th blue ones, the last thing I wanted to see in this BP was another Hiss. For an exclusive at this price point, a few newly retooled vehicle debuts would have been welcome, than re release those vehicles in a later wave in different colors to recoup the cost.
  16. I returned mine last week, take my chances on them going to clearance, plus I'd rather have the SW Battle pack or the MP Grimlock too!

    Wave 12 found!

I cancelled my wave thirteen preorder to get the internet case version that ships in mid-December
  18. Snagged a Gold Atom and masked DB at a KB's today.
  19. I look forward to these newsletters, always a good read.
  20. Whoa, that's a one way trip to the clearance aisle at that price.
  21. It sounds like I'm not the only one who's not really displaying much Star Wars, I have a few vehicles, 6" Unleashed and votc style figures scattered about. They've been left in the cold for the most part, and my potf2 figs haven't seen daylight in a decade.
  22. Man guys, I didn't set out for this to be a complaint, just a redirection in Joe collecting. If is sounded like whining, I apologize to those were offended. HOW DARE YOU QUIT COLLECTING THE NEW ERA GI JOE'S!!!! LOSER!!!! EVERYONE POINT AND LAUGH AT THE LOSER! @smilepunch@ On a more serious note, I totally understand where you're coming from. There have been quite a few times over the last 6 or 7 years that I've given up the current stuff to go back to vintage collecting...which I'm sure I'll do again. Just goes to show how much cooler the old stuff is. Exactly Joe, I'm not drawing a line in the sand here, I'm just saying that I'm going from buying every single carded 25th figure to only buying an occasional carded Resolute figures that draw my interest. #US1# See? Happy faces!
