  1. Awesome haul! Kudos on the Fort Max!
  2. Hey, still, congratulations!
  3. I love topics like these! Here's something I want to add, but I'm not sure if it's really going to help...: By the sounds of your story, it could have very well been a paranormal encounter. Stories of this type of thing (that is, a "warning" before a family member's death) seem to pop up pretty much everywhere, so it does seem to be an occult. In all honesty, I think that if it was indeed an encounter, the evidence that pretty much seals it off is...Your cat. Yep, sounds funny, doesn't it? Well, it's said that animals in general are more "in touch" with the supernatural due to their elevated senses, and cats most so, since they have been known throughout history as a symbol of sorts of the gateway between the living and dead. Now, I'm not saying your cat was possessed, no. It's that in other reported ghost stories I've read, the person's pets almost always start to act up or do show signs of knowing that there is a presence nearby, more specifically cats and dogs. Which brings me to my story, heh. It's nothing to do with deceased family members or anything, but if ghosts and creepy events are the topic at hand, here's what happened to me, this past year or so (warning, long)... First off, I'm not entirely sure when exactly this took place. I think it was around the end of December 2004 to early January 2005, but no later than that. I had been in my house alone for a few hours (which is a very rare occasion) at about eight or nine o'clock PM, reorganizing my bedroom, removing old furniture and putting in new ones; that kind of stuff. I tried getting my old, beat up desk out of my room, but I couldn't because it was too large. So I started busting it up (it was all dinged up anyway), while listening to some music from computer at the time. As soon as I brought some of my broken desk through the door, my speakers made this fairly loud "explosion" noise. Now, it wasn't part of the song I was listening to, but rather from electricity...That is, for some reason one of my outlets uses the same fuse or something as the one in the adjacent bathroom does, and if my speakers are on and someone turns on or off the bathroom fan, then it makes the noise. So it was a natural occurrence, and still is today. Needless to say I just shrugged it off until I again realized that no one else was home...And switches don't turn themselves on or off by themselves. OK, so by now I'm a little freaked. I try not to think about it, and for about the next twenty minutes nothing else spooky happens...Until I had two large desk pieces yet to bring out to the back of my house. As I'm walking down the stairs, I begin to hear some tapping from my kitchen. It was a weird noise. The best I could describe it as is having an empty plastic bottle, and tapping it moderately hard with a pen. That is, the tapping was a hollow noise, but "vibrating" so-to-speak. I briefly check to see if it's one of my pets. No, it's not the dog, as he's laying at the top of the stairs. It's not one of the cats, since it's in another room. Couldn't be the other, since I see it sleeping on the floor in my living room (my house was constructed oddly...There's no hallways or enclosures, it's all extremely "open", and you can almost be in any room and see any other room). Out of fright I raise my voice and say, "get out of my kitchen, #$###!" The tapping stops about ten seconds later. I rush downstairs, with my dog following me, seeing if it's a burglar. It isn't, and I can verify that with my dog...He's really antisocial and barks at anyone who walks by the house...Let alone let someone in. So I check around just to be safe and the search reveals nothing. On the kitchen counter is a...Tennis ball? And it was still slightly rolling. I say to myself to stop being a wuss and finish the job. I throw the junked piece outside, get the remaining one upstairs, and proceed to dispose of it. As I'm walking back after disposing of the last piece, all of a sudden this very, very strange scene happens; the sound of a dog (not mine) running up on my deck (it's made of wood and is lifted above the ground so it makes an echo-effect so-to-speak), with its nails clanking against the boards. I sprint inside, shut the door, lock it, and shriek (I know, haha). But nothing comes. I wait there for a few minutes. Still, no dog. By now my dog comes running to me to see if I'm OK and is oblivious to what happened. So I can safely assume that it was entirely in my already fragile, scared mind or some ghost was pissed at me. Oh well. Sort of random and disappointing, I know. Still, it creeped me out at that time.
  4. Oh Hell yes! Too bad there's no Depth Charge... Still, awesome.
  5. Yeah, from the very rare times that I order Transformers for them, several times is the figure's box a bit damaged, but nothing too serious. It seems, though, that it occurs more if the box is larger. My Beast Machines Air Attack Optimus Primal had some dented corners while my Armada Scavenger was fine.
  6. Haha, whoa, sweet. Hopefully I'll be able to catch that episode sometime later. By the way the crocodile is Megatron.
  7. Primus is looking so awesome. Can't wait until it comes out.
  8. Wait, where did you get his gun exactly? That looks exactly like the RX-78-2 Gundam's beam rifle from Mobile Suit Gundam.
  9. Hahaha, awesome pictures, dude.
  10. The Community Center's threads are filling up with various waffle images!
  11. Ah, right...I used to know that, heh.
  12. Not sure...Probably about two-hundred or so now... @hmmm@
  13. My all-time favorite is definitely Gundam. To be specific, my favorite series is Mobile Fighter G Gundam, and After War Gundam X coming in at a very close second. Some other favorites I have are Hellsing, Love Hina, and various series from the Transformers franchise (relative).
  14. I guess it sounds all right, but it'll probably be like that Universe/Armada disc that was released a few years ago. I must've gotten at least four spares!
  15. Happy Birthday! @propeller@ Very nice haul! Though why do you need two Terrorsaurs?
  16. Looks to Universe-ish for me. Still, Ironhide looks good and Buzzclaw is neat as well. Nice to see the Beast Wars-style tech. specs., though.
  17. Looking at his profile, he sounds like he would be a welcome addition to the show. I never completely watched Energon, but I've read that a few characters die. And I haven't been keeping up with Cybertron either.
  18. So I'll have to ask the stupid question...What makes him different from Energon Scorponok? EDIT: Nevermind. A quick visit to eBay showed me he is in a dark color scheme like Mega Zarack.
  19. I like waffles a lot more. Still, that doesn't mean I hate pancakes.
