  1. You're a machine. And those are all copious amounts of awesome.
  2. I was afraid he was the next fig from the concept art Sideshow was showing (I'm hoping for Storm Shadow soon.) I like the concept, but not thrilled with the execution. I love the the Snake Eyes figure, but this one I'll pass on. Something about that outfit makes his body lines look odd. Angled shoulders, too straight legs. He doesn't seem.. formidable. I also don't like mixing media on 12-inch figs. It'd have been nice if they could have gotten his hood to look good using cloth instead of a full molded piece. Oh well, saves me $120.
  3. Very cool. You actually make what I passed over as a crappy fig look sweet. I didn't realize till looking at your repainted pics that the sculpt is actually very good.
  4. Your eye for choice of base, hijacked pieces, and new sculpting never ceases to impress me.
  5. You know Hasbro will repaint and reuse the mold 2 or 3 times. No reason to go out of your way for this one.
  6. I've never seen the watch (which is VERY cool, I want) but I saw the controller at Target once. Once. I've gone back many times to try to find it to no avail.
  7. Congrats, Jin. Those are awesome reworks.
  8. All the movie Transformers really look great repainted.
  9. You made the leader class Megs look good.
  10. Wow. If you hadn't said it was a 6" people would take it for a 12".
  11. I picked up Brawl and am going to send a nasty letter to Hasbro this weekend. I'll probably sound like angry comic book guy, but whatever. The quality on this thing (or lack thereof) really pisses me off. One of the swing arms on the top turret isn't mounted correctly and the entire top turret is mounted at an angle. I plan on taking pics for Hasbro and I'll post them here, too. The plastic seems like a bad choice, it gets stress marks from the smallest amount of force. The arm pegs, as mentioned before, do not hold at all. Not even a little. This is not a toy suitable for kids. My kid would cry if I gave this to him as it is. It's soured me on the whole line. Please tell me that Brawl is an exception and that I just got a bad QA screw-up.
  12. I like that they are still instantly recognizable as SS and SE. And the use of the hated blue on SE is awesome.
  13. What? Where have I been? Anything special I need to look for to recognize these new jointed figures? Edit: Okay.. I think I figured it out. The new flying ninjas have different joints, right? (I thought he meant a release of the original Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow figs with new joints. Duh)
  14. I'd 2nd that the Takara version is better. The smoke stacks make all the difference to me.
  15. Doesn't the original one have die-cast chest and leg parts, while the new one is all plastic? Also, the color. Ick.
  16. They have nearly 4000 positives in the past 30 days and 70 negatives. The negatives are mostly "didn't recieve item, took weeks to get refund" or "never recieved item" and lots of "didn't reply to email." Sounds like they are having problems with their size and losing transactions, as well as selling merchandise they HOPE to have rather than actually have.

It's so beautiful. I'm crying. Really.
  18. You mean you haven't? He's all over the place! Now Grimlock and Jetfire...THOSE are the hard to find ones. I actually just saw him at TRU today. Didn't expect it, a pleasant surprise. They had 4 Grimlocks as well. But didn't think Grimmy was worth the extra 30% price increase at TRU vs say Target or Walmart. $12.99 at TRU. Only $9.99 at Target. No Jetfires though. Anyone notice that the figure list on the Grimlock package is mis-printed? Jetfire is listed as Decepticon Astrotrain.
  19. That Starscream forearm hole is pretty slick. I'm going to have to that. As you said, on his shoulders they hinder movement, and in his hands they look odd.
  20. He looks awesome. I love the range of posability that his slim body allows. When should we start seeing him in stores?
