I'm sure Hasbro will throw it's on little either lame or neat twist on this concept, if this is even the idea they went with. It looks like something out of dungeons and dragons, not Gi Joe. And yeah, Locke, you're the only one not knocking it. I'm just gonna wait and see what the figure looks like. Peace out.

Hey, wait a second here. Where are the pics for Tunnel Rat, Slash and Neurotoxin? <--- which is a dumb name. @grumpy@ Did I miss them? Also, this wave looks pretty crazy if you ask me. Alpine looks like he's been living in the mountains, smoking crack. Hard Drive looks like he's at a nightclub, the new Bat looks like Hard Drive's date to said night club. WTF gives? Yellow, purple and pink plus capri pants equals some odd looking figures. However, I think Swamp Rat, Beach Head and the Baroness look amazing. And we'll see about Tunnel Rat, Slash and Toxin. Hm-Hm. I've noticed Beach Head and Snake Eyes are the two top rated Joes. Both masked heroes, which make cool figures. =) And the top cobra has probably been rated Firefly, a similarly masked villain. Just something I noticed. Now for my two sense. Joes: Roadblock, Stalker, Gung-Ho and Leatherneck. My Dad was a Marine and beared a striking resemblence to Neck and Gung-Ho, so those guys were easy. Roadblock and Stalker both had great names, I thought. Cobra: Firefly, he's like the Boba Fett of the joeverse. @hmmm@ Zartan, cause he's another bad a$$ and finally SAW Viper (Overkill, whatever the heck his name is. Anyone else think in the DD comic, that the SAW viper will be "turned" into Overkill the android? Would be a cruel, but fitting punishment. @firedevil@ Peace out

Wow. That is a crazy, crazy question. And I like things crazy. Cobra: IG: Top of the line, proper, more along the lines of a "gentleman's war". Coils: Mechanics and vehicle operators. Cannon fodder. CLAWS: Frontline boys. They see all the action. Neo Vipers: These guys are more for security, protection, that sorta crap. Black Out: Despises Joes and all they stand for, just because he couldn't cut it. Doesn't even necessarily agree with Cobra, but just allows him to get back at his brother. Razor Claw: This is one mean dude. Just bent on slaying and destroying anything in his path. Even SS would lose to him on a bad day. @firedevil@ Joes: Faces: Well, since Chuckles is dead... here we go. A pretty cool figure with a lame, lame name. Barrell Roll: Brash, young, inexperienced. He always gets messed up during any mission I have him on. CrossHair: The exact opposite. Knows he is a rookie, learns from the Vets. Never has been injured. Gears: Wise-cracking mechanic. He'll see combat when he least expects it. Hi-Tech: I don't even know. He looks like a friggin' surfer. Cowabunga, dude. He'll probably bite it. Bring back MainFrame!!! Peace out

That "Sand Snake" doesn't look half bad itself. I would be satisfied with Joe BTRs if the figures didn't look like poo and the vehicles would stay together for more than three seconds. But, hey, I still buy them anyway. @grumpy@ And yeah, it LOOKS like urban camo, but he'll probably be purple and pink when we see it up close. Heh heh. And what's up with the bearded Barrell Roll? They release Clutch with no beard, and Beach Head, Blow Torch, Gung Ho and Flint with those crappy bodies, but Barrell Roll's already got two versions? What's up with dat Hasbro? This is a pretty cool topic, Nas. Myself, I will use any friggin' Joe figure I can get my hands on. I even take my repaints, give them a new name and voila! Cannon Fodder. =) i.e. BTR Gung Ho = Mortar Wave 8 Gung Ho = Gnome (ha ha) Man does that wave 8 Gung Ho suck. All the Gung Ho's they have released since 2001 have been bad IMHO. But the figures I don't like are Hacker, Scalpel, WideScope, Beach Head, Cobra Claws Commander, pretty much any of Wave 3 (Baroness, Snow Serpent, Blowtorch, etc.) But if it is a NEW figure, I will use it no matter what. This action attack thing has got to stop. There is not that much actual action, and the only people getting attacked are ourselves. Swords to the eyes and what not. When I finally get my hands on these action attack figs, I will try my darndest to rectify the situation and have some cool figures aside from the a/a feature. Storm Shadow LOOKS like one of the coolest figures of the new style, but the a/a will probably hurt it. Peace out

How's everyone doing? I used to post on these boards months ago. And then my computer died, and now i have a new one, so guess what. Ha ha, I am back. And I am sure I have missed all kinds of news. I saw VvV in ToyFare and then boom! They were on the shelves. I made my brother buy them for me for christmas. Ha ha. Still waiting on those ugly Desert and Urban camo repaints. I am like Night Creeper, I will buy most all of Hasbro's stuff. Crap or not. I just don't know if I can wait another week to get them. But that's half the fun. But I have not heard anything about wave 10, or that new mold Kamakura or SwampRat or whoever the cobra figure is. Anyone heard anything, is it old news, what's the deal??? Is VvV going to continue, probably. Are the figures going to become monsters, god I hope not. The Sand Scorpion is as close as I want them to get to "monsters". Agreed? Peace out and in
