I introduced She-Ra cartoons to my daughters and they loved it. They wanted to see a She-Ra toy in our display cabinet but MOTU figures are rare here in the Philippines, so I've decided to custom a She-Ra figure instead. Hope you guys like it! Darna is a Filipina superheroine created by Filipino writer Mars Ravelo. Darna appears in movies, TV and comics in the Philippines since the 70's. Darna fights giant monsters, hideous creatures and supervillains like Valentina, a Medusa-like foe (Darna's arch-nemesis), who threaten mankind. Darna's powers are super strength, flight and invulnerability. Darna's human alter-go is Narda, an ordinary girl with a kind heart who inherited a small magical white stone. When Narda swallows the stone and shouts 'Darna!", she transforms into the Philippines' iconic superheroine. Narda's younger brother Ding, often plays sidekick to Darna. Armed with a slingshot and childish courage, he rides on the back of Darna patrolling the skies.
