Junkyard with Timber and Stray Cat: “The Quest for Freedom”
The Quest for Freedom
The story so far…
Dr. Baltazar Payne invested so much in his study on genetic mutation and DNA splicing but when G.I. Joe found out the dangers of his experiments, he was requested to discontinue his research. Dr. Payne secretly continued his experiments. He searched for animals to work on and found Timber, Junkyard and Freedom. He hated the Joes so much and he felt he could get back at them by making their pets his test subjects. A stray cat happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and stumbled into the doctor’s lab. Dr. Payne made the cat a guinea pig as well. Dr. Payne injected his test subjects with his mutation serum and performed DNA splicing. A few days later, the Joes discovered his activities but failed to apprehend him. Dr. Payne escaped. He wanted to bring all his test subjects with him but he knew they would only slow him down. He took the smallest, the cat, but the cat bit him so he took the bird, the one still locked in the cage, he took Freedom with him.
G.I. Joe witnessed the mutation of Timber, Junkyard and Stray Cat. In less than a month, they became animal-human hybrids, and it didn’t take long before they could finally speak. Soon, they were training with the Joes and the first mission they want to pursue is to find and rescue Freedom and finally put an end to Dr. Payne’s sinister deeds.
Epilogue
Somewhere in a jungle in South America, a mad doctor suffers from severe pain caused by an extraordinary cat bite. He feels his body changing while a half man/half bird being locked in a cage stares at him…

This one was made out of broken parts that I have fixed. I’m out of fodders and I never throw old and broken parts. Now they have been recycled and I was able to create the Rocketeer! Hope you like it!

“Here I come to save the day!” is one cartoon theme lyrics I could never forget. When Mighty Mouse was aired, I became a huge fan, I loved it! He’s better than Mickey, he’s a mouse but he’s a super mouse!

TNI's Custom Palooza POLL
in Custom Figures
Posted
First of all, thanks TNI for this contest. Great to see a variety of customs from fellow artists. While all the entries are amazing (jaw dropping entries!) I'm voting for the one who created a figure of a familiar character, which I haven't seen in figure form, using traditional methods (parts swap / sculpting) and succesful to make it look like who it's supposed to be. I vote for Big Daddy! Kick ass job sir!
