  1. I hate to blatantly plug my Ebay stuff here, but if you really REALLY want the best Durge ever made, look here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3167521176
  2. I dunno... Durge vs Boba Fett. Who do you think is gonna win? Boba Fett is cool, but as far as bounty hunters go, Durge is the @#$&! Too bad he's not suppose to be in the third movie. (but if he is it'll be cool) I also think Durge is still alive....and waiting another 2000 years to regenerate and take his revenge against the last remaining Jedi (if there are any left, heh)
  3. Here's a review of both out of package http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_120303b.htm
  4. Thanks Mandalorian, didn't know exactly where to put this post! How come we don't have a CCG section here? I figure Magic cards and such fall into the "toy" realm, especially with Heroclix and MageKnight taking over. Hey there Gambit! I use Adobe Photoshop for my cards, and have special TTFonts set up with symbols, numbers, tap symbols, and Magic Card Text that give the card the official appearance. Yes, Jin can be killed heheh. It says he cannot be the target of "spells", but not effects. A Royal Assassin could kill him. Or you could just block him with a Wall of Mist or something all day. I made him almost invincible because of his neat ability in the MvC2 Arcade Game where when you almost kill him, he powers up and gives you the ability to beat the hell out of your opponent.
  5. Wait, are we talking about the jabba's palace Luke that comes with the cloth cloak, blaster, and lightsaber??? I just picked him up and felt bad about spending $5.00 after I opened him up! Why? WTF is up with his legs. They're made of some sort of super-soft rubber, and he either looks bow-legged or plain collapses under his own weight. Even on the stand. They also don't stop when you move them forward, and hyper-extend like a flamingo...grr. Speaking of his legs, they don't move past that hard plastic skirt! Leg articulation is meaningless if it doesn't move because of something. That open hand bugs me. Yes I fixed it, but he STILL can't hold his lightsaber with both hands....GRR! The cloak is terrible. The material around the neck is so thick, it makes his head look tiny. I also had to rip my Luke's head off in order to take the cape off, because the neck hole is so small. Apparently they sewed the hood on seperatly, and directly onto the neck seam of the main cloak.... GRRRRR!! %@$#^@! The lightsaber isn't like the one pictured on the back. The shaft is completly smooth instead of the neat particle effect the new ones have coming out the hilt. The head is the only nice thing about this figure in my opinion. Really looks like Mark Hamill after his accident.
  6. Jin Saotome is actually a character from the video game "Cyberbots", an import game by apcom that featured Streetfighter-style fighting but with giant mecha. I use to play Marvel vs Capcom (the first one) back in the Flordia arcades, and enter tournaments. Well Capcom puy Jin Saotome into the game, and nobody played his character because he was so hard to use. I ended up mastering him, and won a bunch of Tourneys using Jin as my main fighter which at the time was totally unheard of. (Everyone used Strider and Captasin Commando) I got nicknamed "Jin" because I always played him, and that's what my friends call me to this day. The creepy thing is I have brown hair, brown eyes, tall athletic build, and look just like Jin's character if I add a little gell to my hair! It was only natural for me to take on his persona after all that, and it works for me, hehe. I just wish I had a 3-story Mecha I could stop around with sometimes....
  7. Couldn't quite figure out where to put this, or if any of you even play Magic the Gathering. But since everyone knows me from this particular forums section, I figure I'd show you all. Afterall, I did make a bunch of Marvel character Magic Cards (you gotta read the quote on my Spiderman card!) Check them out here http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/C.../CustomMTG.html or you can also find the link on my web site's main page. Enjoy! Oh, feel free to move this post to wherever it bets fits if you want!
  8. If you've recently visisted my site, you may of seen a green and brown Star Wars custom figure, and wondered who the hell that is. Well wonder no further, for I'll be writing out his entire story soon, chapter by chapter! You can view it here http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/Cabal.html and also find it linked to my main site http://www.jinsaotomesdangeroustoys.com/ . Enjoy!
  9. My favorite flesh paints have to be from the new Testors Fantasy Arcylic line (pick them up at testors.com) or the Citadel paints Bronze Flesh and Elf Flesh. You may want to mix tones (white or brown) in the flesh to get the exact gi-joe tone however. I just know my Testors flesh paints look REALLY good when I apply them.
  10. Then you'll be happy to know I have another Deadpool in the works. I found another new Daredevil figure and have already begun sculpting DP's details on him. Not sure what I can do to top my last figure tho...any suggestions?
  11. Yes, Durge on Swoop is the COOLEST figure out there in terms of style, detail, and articulation. Unfortunatly not the paint job....but thats's changed! Check out my repainted Durge, and his sooped-up-swoop! I added more accessories like his bolo, and even gave him the creepy tentacles that snare Obi Wan like in the miniseries. He's updated on my site: http://www.jinsaotomesdangeroustoys.com/ I'm also selling him on EBay, if you want a chance to grab him check out the link below. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...gory=50263&rd=1
  12. Wanna see what the Durge on Swoop CAN look like, if given a good paint job? Check out what I did to him on my site, he's third from the last pics! http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/ I'm gonna grab a couple of these and repaint them, and sell em.
