First custom in a long while. He's been finished for about 4 months, as I was going to make a base for him, but I decided to just take the pictures. My thought for him is that rather than just being a survivor, he is a hunter too. He stumbled upon a Fire/Police station right at the end, and stocked up with the shotgun, axe, and 9mm. The rip is surrounded by dried blood, but the lighting washed it out

The Action Figure Junkyard is almost ready to go!! Being a customizer, I often find the biggest problem I run into is only needing one part of a whole action figure to finish or start a custom. So where does that leave me? Running around store to store trying to find that perfect arm, leg, or head, only to wind up having to buy the whole figure, and either discarding what you don't need, or throwing it in a box to never be used again. Here at the Junkyard, we do that for you! We have parts from most current and vintage lines, and even some not so common parts. Inventory is constantly changing, so if you see something you want, you better grab it! All transactions are done through Paypal which protects the seller and the consumer. Shipping is included in most pricing! If shipping is extra, it will be noted in description. Possible shipping discounts for multiple purchase.... I will post the link when it goes live on Monday morning!

Summer contest on now! This contests theme will be: "You won't find God's law in a Devil's land" RULES: You must create a custom epitomizing the apocalypse/hell. Post apocalyptic warrior?? Survivor? Hell on earth?? Your favorite comic book hero in a post apocalyptic New York?? Whatever your imagination can come up with CUSTOM MUST NOT BE SHOWN ON ANY OTHER BOARDS BEFORE THE CONTEST!!! IT ALSO MUST BE A NEW CUSTOM! Because forum stretches all genres, anything goes. Remember though, your action figure might be up against a model car, or diorama. The contest will run from now until August 1st. All entries MUST be in by July 31st. You must submit only 4 photos. One from the front, back, and each side on a plain background (unless your custom includes a base). Please make sure you do not add any watermarks, or logos as this contest will be judged via blind poll. After I get all the entries, I will post up the pictures with a poll for 7 days. The person with the highest votes will win a $25 gift card to a toy retailer of your choice, or if your retailer doesn't offer gift cards(online for example), what you can do is shop on said site until you reach $25 (including shipping), and send me the info, and I will pay it. ....and ideas. So like I have mentioned(probably too much), I am getting close to opening up a "Fodder only" online store for customizers called the "Action Figure Junkyard". I am kind of stuck at the moment on what lines to focus on. I know Marvel Legends are still hot in the customizing community, but what about Joes?? There is such a HUGE market for GI Joe and Star Wars, and honestly, I haven't the first clue about Star Wars and what customizers are doing with them, kind of the same as GI JOE. Are more people using 25th Anniversary stuff?? Does anyone customize the 80s stuff?? What about Halo? What are people using for customs? Is there anything lacking supply-wise in this field?? Is it worth it to buy Spawn stuff?? I don't think many people use Spawn bases for customs much. DCUC?? I am a Marvel guy, so I am not sure what people are using for DC customs... Help me out! I just don't want to buy random lots of stuff that aren't going to sell. I'd rather pay a bit more for stuff I know I can move.... HELP!
