  1. Been using Opticon since about 2001, its name of a song by Orgy (one of my then-favourite bands).
  2. From the GL boards (rumor, grain of salt, etc) -
  3. I don't think I've ever posted any customs here before, but theres a first time for everything Copied entirely from Pablolobo on the fwoosh, except using a different base body (didnt have the DCSH Batman that he used). Recipe: DCSH Superman upper body DCUC Superman Lower body 200X Skeletor head, forearms, chest/waist armor, and lower legs Was fun mixing and matching pieces, those ankles were a bit of a pain to get looking right - had to bury the joints pretty far in so the movement isn't as great as I was hoping, but it works. Paint wear is pretty serious on the shoulder joints, but the armor hides that nicely. There's some blue shading on the skin which sort of shows up in the pics, but its definitely better in person. Didn't touch the paint on the existing skeletor parts except for some silver touch-ups. (The blue on the hangy parts of his waist get-up is an issue of the camera, its not actually there on the figure).
  4. Yeah, I didnt think they were this far along either. Glad they went with the modern costume, it has a bit more realism to it than the classic.
  5. Natu does look a lot better now, and the group shot is pretty cool. I like Munk too, M1 does great work with the lantern characters.
  6. I usually love the stuff you get, and anything gl related anyway, but i really don't like Soranik's head. Might be the lighting, I'm not sure, but it doesnt look very feminine. Hair style seems a bit off too. Body looks good though. Did he beef it up a bit? Doesnt look as skinny as more DCUC females.
  7. Sounds like Peter Cullen to me. (He's around 0:34)
  8. Found it on fwoosh, c/o the graphitti designs site..
  9. Probably shoulda been spoiler tagged for anyone who hadnt read that yet....just in case anyone hasnt, its Blackest Night #7/ GL #52.
  10. Definitely Conroy, albeit a little softer sounding than his BTAS voice.
  11. Warth turned out awesome, and i'm surprised how much i like Solomon (i don't know the character and generally hate cloth on figures, heh).
  12. Hey, its Compassion, not love. Get it right! @smilepunch@
  13. Love it. Eyes look slightly crooked though.
  14. Ooooh, very cool. Heh, it looks like he's got blonde mutton chops
  15. Why would they be cancelled?
  16. Theres an awesome gallery up at AFT > http://www.aftimes.com/aslu/slu.shtml
  17. Hey, since you've got all the parts for your Graf, if you happen to find someone with a Mr. Terrific jacket could you send them my way, please and thanks? (or if anyone who happens to be reading this has one...hint hint). Its the last piece I need for mine, the rest of him is almost ready for painting.
  18. Yeah, I'm using MatthewK's as reference, for the most part. I finished up the arms a few minutes ago and put up a wip pic in my fwoosh thread > http://www.thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=63398&start=0 Sentry's cape looks TONS better now.
  19. Its all part of the story, and it's just a temporary change. Flash'll be back to his red and yellow soon enough.
  20. Anytime you post a list of what you've got going, it makes me wanna do more....I'm not planning any of the deputites, but i would like a Raker, Laira, Kehaan, etc. If i can find a DCD Alpha Lantern Boodikka for cheap, then I'd consider doing her too. Its a nice looking figure, just needs articulation. Started Saint Walker last night....once you get the DCD parts onto the Avatar body, thats one skinny little bastard, haha.
  21. To add to what Arrow said, you included Marvel Select figures in that list - Compatible, but made by a different company, so I'd say they don't count as Marvel Legends.
  22. Very cool. Which other Deputies are you getting done? After reading the double dose of GL yesterday, I'm back to wanting to to a better Saint Walker, so I might start him this weekend.
