  1. I would say without a doubt these will be 2".
  2. That Kilowog is brilliant. You used all the right pieces to try to recreate the look.
  3. Those are all very solid sets, good purchases
  4. Apparently they have had problems with the prototypes for wave 12 and 13, hence them not being announced yet.
  5. I am well into Buffy PALz at the moment, they are very cool figures.
  6. The gallery is up now, check out some of the great entries we had. Judging is still ongoing, but we wanted to show you all what people had created. http://www.minimatescentral.com Thanks to everyone for their support and interest.
  7. Think so. It is also on the ultimaate storm minimate I beleive. Just to clarify, all the females in wave 10 - Black Cat, Silver Sable, the Spider-Women, all had New X-Men Phoenix (Jean Grey)'s hair. Rogue has Ultimate Storm's hair. The tw hairpieces are similar at the front but the back is different.
  8. wow, being a megabloks collector myself, i'm jealous. that set has been long gone from store shelves here, as in years. and i always wanted that. cool find. Yeah, it was a third off. Strange that we have so many different MegaBloks ranges still available in the UK. There's Dragons, Ice/Fire Dragons, Marvel, Pyrates, Alien Agency, Blok Bots, and Pro-Builder stuff all in the MegaBloks section in TRU. It's actually quite a muddle.
  9. That's very cool. I have to admit, I do scour the MegaBloks offerings looking for good matches for the Minimates stuff. The other day I bought the Blok Bots Electronic Mission Command, cos a giant silo for a humanoid 3 storey robot has gotta be a viable playset

It is fabulous and a real achievement. They went for what they wanted and nailed it. I have an interview with Jeff from the DAVE school on Minimates Central, under articles.
  12. Yeah my collection pic on the MMC home page is about 50 Minimates out of date Keep thinking I should take new pics but as they're not displayed normally it's a lot of set up work.
  13. The UK have had these sets for a few weeks now. Strange!
  14. Hi, just posting to promote Minimates Central's first ever competition. Thanks to the kind people at stuckakid, you can win all 6 Mini Flyers. All you have to do is build a Minimate-suitable vehicle from C3 and any other "leading block systems", take a couple of pics, and you could win! Check out the full details at http://www.minimatescentral.com or click the link in my sig. Thanks, Danny
  15. They have been solicited for release in December. Can't wait! Ryu vs Akuma Chun-Li vs M. Bison Demitri vs Morrigan CHASE: Demitri vs Lilith
  16. The SF Minimates are due in December. I think the look absolutely amazing!
  17. Hi all, You all know I'm dedicated to providing top-notch Minimates news and reviews at Minimates Central, but the introduction of C3 has got me back into the block building sets. In the UK the 3 Marvel Megablok "Mask" sets have dropped to Buy One Get One Free status, so I picked up a Spidey and and Thing to see what they were like compared to C3. I thought these might be comparable to the Mini-Flyers, but with poorer quality. However, I was slightly taken aback at just how cool these things were. First off, the figures aren't good... they are better than the Alien Agency ones, but still lacking compared to the incredibly high standard set by Minimates. Megabloks Thing with Clobberin' Time Thing Megabloks Spidey with Spider-Man. The Thing's vehicle is a fantasti-jet, very simple in construction but with a nice "4" logo piece that's probably worth the price for the set if you were looking to create your own Fantasti-car or something. The only action feature is that the wings pivot : Sizewise it's similar to a C3 Mini Flyer: However nice the set is, and it is indeed simple yet fun, I was really only concerned as to whether it would work for Minimates. I think it does, just: Overall, I liked this set enough to have bought two more sets in the hope of building a much bigger Fantasti-jet. Spidey's vehicle is spider-influenced, with 4 long legs and a "face": It's quite a bit bigger than a Mini-Flyer: However because of this, the cockpit fits a Minimate figure very nicely thankyou: However, I'm more inclined to think of it as a type of Spider-Slayer: Overall it's a very fun vehicle with loads of playability. Have bought another 1 in order to create a proper 8 legged Spider-Slayer in future. Overall, I was really plaesed with these sets and the way they integrate so well with my Marvel Minimates. Definitely recommended if you want Marvel vehicles to go with your C3/DC ones.
  18. Marvel series 10 and 11 will be out this month or next. Adam at Art Asylum reckons it could be October before the Street Fighter sets come out.
  19. There are no "real" pics, just concept/poster artwork.
  20. My Marvel ist is up to date but doesn't include any not-yet-released exclusives yet, so that'd be the Dark Phoenix/Cyclops set, the Thanos/Silver Surfer set and the Fantastic 4, er, 4-pack.
  21. Yeah they did a really great job on Batgirl.
  22. Aye as Skipperbecks has said, Minimates Central is my site, which I've been running for about 21 months now. Not bad going for a guy with no website skills heh. Thanks for the kind words
  23. The Batcopter's best feature is a winch that can hold either a cage (for the baddies) or a strut (to hoist up a goodie). Will be reviewing it on the site soon. Oh, and I REALLY like the fact it's coloured the same as the Batcycle, adds a lot of continuity to the 2 sets.
  24. I have to admit I find the mini flyer concept quite fun. And the Minimates ARE good in these 6.
