  1. I didn't know until I eBayed him a week ago. :-P But I did know he had a stracight nosecone, which was the entire idea behind getting him!
  2. Already nabbed the ML and will get the K-M someday! ML is nice, probably my favorite fig at the moment, I love the straighter nosecone too, but I've grown to fancy the darker grey on the Armada.
  3. Well, I've been pretty quiet so far with what I've been up to but if this pans out, then w00t!!! Screams I Scream for Starscream! @bounce@ @coffee@
  4. Wow looks like they really take some time to package it up : ) Yes they do, and for every single thing you order. I remember when I got my MP Trailer and some BTs from them. For MISBers, that place is heaven. For me, I got a busted Overdrive. Still, they actually offered to replace it, which was cool (althought I turned them down due to the hastle involved and I bought a 2nd to keep sealed). So, in all, yes, TFSource is the the shiz.
  5. You mean Soundwave, right? Your first statement makes this a bit vague. Congrats on you haul anyhoo! Speaking of hauls, my friend ordered me Dark Nitro Convoy/Nitro Convoy set and he's getting it via Registered Mail from Hong Kong. This is only my first time experiencing ordering abroad and the first time someone's used registered mail. So we got the number for it. The guy says I should contact the Post Office. Anyone here know the correct procedures/what we should expect? *is unsure*
  6. Clearly not everyone thinks like you then. Some people obviously think it's that great. And/or its the collector mentality, eg "gotta catch em all." And believe me that price is the least of some people's concerns.
  7. It's not about the age but maturity level and experience. And on the topic of the thread, dang! that's an expensive start price for a loose, slightly played with, instruction-damaged, box-less Alt Dead End. @grumpy@
  8. I got the Galaxy Force version, they look to be the same aside from the yellow paint at first glance. I do like Galvy as G1 homage, but as a representation of a singular character, Megatron's scheme is great, too, granted moreso the Cyb that GF version for reasons that should be obvious (colors, price, et al). #US1#
  9. Neither. I want both of them to be remolds! @smilepunch@
  10. Alt/BT Grimlock/Wheeljack: Cool in concept, but screwy, painful transformation, stuff pops off... RM Seekers: They're great, but I reiterate that they are a bit too small and lack vital knee articulation. Much of Energon, eg Energon Galvatron: Don't get me wrong, the mold is awesome, especially on the Super Link versions. But the deco, plastics and size of ol' Royal Purple kind of sucks. He feels way too chunky and plasticy. The mold suffers from the size. Something that big cries out for better articulation. Deco is great. Cybertron Overhaul: screwy arms Cybertron Scattorshot: suffers from Armada Megatronitis BW X-9 Jaguar: he's just Cheetor with robot head taken out essentially. I dunno, after years of anticipation, the payoff is bittersweet. He doesn't hit home that much. Still leagues beyond Alt/BT Ravage tho (still like both in different ways). I still like all of them of course, but there's no harm in pointing out how/why they could have been better.
  11. Erm, that's exactly what it is @smilepunch@ I beg to differ. Some mini-cons have more articulation. Not to mention the faces could have looked a bit better. The cockpit could have locked in better, etc...
  12. They are a bit smaller than the G1 seekers (in robot mode, as well as alt mode). They look infinitely more show accurate, not to mention the only thing that needs removing for transformation are the cannons. On the other hand. They are a bit small, and they don't have much leg articulation to speak of (left/right swivel only). Are they worth it? To me, they make a nice display piece and are a good substitute for the G1 seekers, which are a lot, lot worse. Now if only the had made a Sunstorm... (But they are still very small...)
  13. No it's actually a very dark, slightly metallic blue (kind of like in the show). Definately not black plastic tho, which is why I'm hesitant to just cover it up. Anyway, thank you for your kind answer. At least someone here's helpful.
  14. Should of left him in da box Maybe you could try helping instead of singing that tiresome refrain. Its getting quite trite. Maybe you should open your crap! And for your information, I DO keep things MIB/MISB, including MISB HOC Thundercracker, MISB Reissue Prowl, MISB RM Seekers (all four), MIB Smokescreen GT 1, MISB Energon Mirage, MISB En'gon Ironhide, MISB, Energon Sixshot, MISB BT Blue Prowl, MISB BT Wheeljack, MISB BT Blue Tracks, and my brand-spankin' new MISB Alternators Prowl and Decepticharge (prob others too). If for no other reason than a lack of room... so don't be like "keep it all MISB" I keep what I need to. So anyone really want to help... no? yes? I would consider acetone but that melts plastic. Perhaps something safer? #US1#
  15. As an aside, I just got my King Starscream back having gotten a "better" copy. Now I notice that he has a small spot of silver paint on top of his head. The crown covers it fortunately, but does anyone know a permanent, semi-safe chem to remove the factory paint?
  16. I found and picked up Dcharge ("Dragstrip"), Prowl and Wheeljack yesterday at my local North Bruns TRU after having missed them in TRU Freehold (but they did have a bunch of Richocet, Energon Galvy and Sixshots). Having bought them all seperately, I am now caught up with Cyb Scout classes except Autolander and Dark Overhaul - or whatever the US equivalent name is. On a side note, Shortpacked is on the money these days!
  17. Holy chalupa! Calm down! He's holding a gun, man, which is in his fist hole!!! @smilepunch@
  18. As long as I can get what I need from Alternators (not likely these days), I don't care about the packaging much. Value to me is cutting corners, even if it means "not geewunish sancrosanct" packaging...
  19. At this rate I won't see that thing until February 30th!
  20. I'm impressed, but no big loss. Can't do anything about it now any way.
  21. Just goes to show you that Hasbro's run by monkeys that have absolutely no concept of what people like.
  22. Yay, I just got my Shockblast back from loan. It's good to know he's still out there, somewhere!
  23. Also factor in that Hasbro tends to skimp on paint and do different shades of the same color (Vector Prime being the most extreme example)... not to mention this new fetish with soft/lower grade plastic on translucent pieces.
  24. You should do what you feel is right of course. Weigh in their worth and your expectations and judge accordingly.
