  1. The bad thing is that it was done back in 2011, so if Fox was really going to do it they would have done it by now IMO. Still it looked pretty good.
  2. He was released, but I don't think many stores actually got him. I found mine at a Target back in April and it was the only one I've come across.
  3. I use to be a HUGE comic book junkie. Spending any where between $20 to $50 a week. A couple years ago I quit reading comics for about four month and realized that it was something I really did love but needed to scale back what I read. So I went through what I read and trimmed it down to about eight or so titles a month. SO about a year and a half ago I noticed my library really started ordering quite a few trades. So for the last couple months (mainly because of summer and my daughter really taking to reading this year) I've been catching up on a lot of stuff I didn't read. So I was just wondering if anyone else was doing this? Does your local library even carry comic trades?
  4. Hope you enjoy them. I found a Blowtorch/HEAT Viper and Lowlight/Night Viper pack last Saturday. Both are pretty nice and for the price point ($16.99) I'm not going to complain. I've heard paints a bit off on some figure, the only one of mine that I noticed is the red on the Night Vipers helmet is not evenly coated.
  5. And these announcements do nothing for me. Sure I like most of the talent involved and wonder what artist and writers will be taking over at issues 5 or 6, but this will be the third time they have basically hit the reset button on "outside" the movies continuity (first being original Marvel comic series and second being Dark Horse). While I might read a trade if I see it at the library I really have no need of relearning about everything that happened between each movie again or seeing some characters new unknown origin. It's what made me give up on G.I.Joe comics (them rebooting everytime a new series comes out) and most Marvel books (they don't reboot, but boy do they play fast and loose with past history).
  6. Just a wild guess here, but I see this being repainted and released as Lex Luthor at some poiny down the line.
  7. They've done it before with other companies so why not Hasbro. The big plus side here is if they'll do a ML exclusive they might do other Hasbro toyline exclusives.
  8. So basically a model thats already put together. Well I suppose it could be nice for display purposes. Anyone know what the price is?
  9. It's not fan art. IDW previewed this mini with a comic on Free Comic Book Day last month and I really hated it. The art and story were just horrible. I'll be skipping this and hoping to forget it exists.
  10. I find it interesting that the Disney Name/logo is prominently featured on the packaging.
  11. Finally finished watching the April and May epsiodes over the weekend and man did the Arrow team really pull off a great season. I can only think of two episodes that I didn't care for.Next seaon should be really interesting with so much having happened with the cast of the show. If the Flash is anywhere as good as this, then next year will be some really good tv.
  12. I have finally finished watching season six (I had watched all but the last two eps and caught up on this a Arrow over the long weekend). They did a great job with this season, even the Jar Jar episodes but still left us all hanging. No real closure on Ahsoka or Rex which I hate. But I will admit that the first arc with the troppers and the ending arc with Yoda were really great.
  13. Already signed up. Hope these turn out as good as they seem.
  14. So season six of Clone Wars was put up on Netflix last week and after watching some of my favorite episodes from the first five seasons, I've finally started watching season six. I'm only half way through this 13 episode season and it's really been pretty good. It seems to me like whatever happens there's going to be a lot of stuff left hanging and after watching season five again, it seems like they ended it rather suddenly (which they might have since season five only had twenty episodes and seasons one through four all had twenty-two).
  15. While I'll admit that TRU has a pretty bad time carrying a lot of things that collectors are looking for, they are usually pretty good a stocking TRU exclusive items. Except for the Silver Marvel Legends figures they released quite a while ago, I can't think of any TRUexclusive item that I haven't come across or that's be available for quite a long time. But this is Joe we're talking about and it could be the exception to the norm.
  16. Better than I expected. I hope these are indeed the actual prices.
  17. But part of the title for Star Wars is Wars. There can always be some new faction that tries to start Sh!t. And while I think your right about there needing to be a good story or artifact behind a new indy movie, the best part of the first three were either the action work by Ford or the "light romance" parts with Indy and whatever gal.
  18. But from everything we've heard there still isn't going to be any "closure" for the series. I mean, we know how the Clone Wars end and everything, but what about Rex and all the other CW characters and plot thread that are bound to be just dangling at the end of this sixth "mini season"?
  19. The only reason studios cling to any of these franchises is because it's easier than to think up some kind of new, creative ideas. Indy, Star Wars, there's absolutely no difference. The fact that Harrison Ford or Mark Hammil or Arnold Schwarzeneger or any of those guys you loved 30 years ago are now too old to believably cast them in these action situations is just a minor inconvenience to them. Hollywood will push it through because they know fanboys our age who have a warm/fuzzy feeling for anything 80s are already locked in. But with SW were going to be getting a lot of new characters and new stories, if the rumor of eps 7 being a "hand off" movie is correct. I can see a lot of the SW charcaters working a little better as background characters leading a newer generation than I can with an new Indy movie headlined by Ford just because the title is Indiana Jones. Were as SW already has a large cast you can move around. It's not like the movie is called Luke, Leia and Han.
  20. I just finished Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Xbox One and like it and am sort of playing Strider. The upgraded graphics were nice, but I'm trading it in to Gamestop to get Thief (also for Xbox One) for $30. Still find myself going back and helping with community challages every week or so on AC: Black Flag. Got my son Lego Marvel a couple weeks ago (for 360) and we've been slowly going through it. I really haven't found the last couple Lego games as fun and the SW and orignal Batman one. Also been picking stuff up on the 360 when it's on sale. Got Alan Wake American Nightmare for $3 (loved the first game and DLC, not sure why I didn't alredy have this) and the Mortal Kombat from a couple years ago for $5. Wish I would have got Skyrim last week, they had it for $5 but didn't know until after the fact. Played the Titanfall Beta last week and enjoyed it. I'm probably going to buy it, just not at launch. I was hoping it would have a more tradional campaign mode but I keep hearing it pretty much all multiplayer. I'm looking forward to Destiny and Dying Lightthis fall. And I will probably get Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain next month.
  21. While I wouldn't hate another movie, what's the real point? Ford's 71 right now and would be atleast 73 by the time a new movie came out. As an action star his best days are behind him and I;m not sure how much of the action would be believable. As the love interest, his best days are behind him. Which has to make you wonder what kind of role the Indy would have. Would it be more like the Henry Jones role in Crusade? And if so, then why have this be an Indy movie?
  22. I voted for the sheild on the cape. For the most part of the 80's thats how he was drawn and that's when I really began reading Superman.
  23. Checked a Tuesday Morning yesterday and nada, I'll try another one on Wednesday. I did notice that Walmart is resetting and clearencing out stuff and out of nowhere Joes are in the clearence section. Three different stores that had nothing for the last six months suddenly have parts of Rertaliation waves one and two in stock at $6.50(atleast that's the price here). I'm very tempted tp try the couple of Walmarts that got waves three in to see if maybe they found some more in the back.
