  1. One of the nicer customs I've seen of the character. I just wish Hasbro was do a nice proper verion of him, guess Ill just have to keep the old Joe VS Cobra Version 1 handy.
  2. I don't even know exactly what thye have coming out. I'll see the movie and probably pick up some of the "cool" new Stormtroopers, but I really don't have much interest in 5 POA figures and severely undersized ships.
  3. Cool, I remember winning one of the old $50 BBTS monthly drawings and buying one of the G.I.Joe multi packs.
  4. Honestly adding the Nerf stuff doesn't bother me because as a Joe collector I'm used to spring loaded crap being added onto vechiles. Plus it's funny to think that some collector (if it's still around) in twenty years will complain because it's not complete because someone removed the Nerf parts.
  5. If this had been a two seater I could have overlooked the Nerf thing
  6. Looks like things are finally starting to pop up at Target and TRU. Saw three pack at TRU plus X-me wave(everyone but Wolvie and Deadpool) Legends and 4" CA:CW Falcon. Walgreens has Namor a plenty and Target has their 3 pack too.
  7. I don't belong to the club anymore but Ive been waiting for this figure for a while now. Looks really good. If they could pull off a real close to ARAH looking Fast Draw I would consider my collection pretty much complete figure wise.
  8. She must have been taken since I didn't see her. I did notice that this Phasma is slightly taller than the 5 POA Phasma.
  9. Finally found a SA Captain Phasma, great looking figure. They had several of her and a couple Han's, but he looked horrible. Was there a third new figure that came out with these two?
  10. I don't have any problems with Wally and don't think he really adds or takes from the show. As for Barry and what he did and how it will affect the show next year, it really depends on what the writers want to show. Obviously he wouldn't have been as close to Detective West and Iris. If they really wanted to we could see that the Allen's didn't have a perfect Marriage and divorced while Barry was young, he could have had siblings, maybe the Universe did something else to Barry to "make him pay" for changing things (karma's a . Just so many ways they can/could handle this. Hopefully we hear a little bit from San Diege about whats going to happen.
  11. Overall I liked this season. There was some minor annoyances along the way (mainly killing of people) but I liked seeing Earth 2 and thought Zoom and Jay were handled pretty well. Think its going to be interesting to see how they handle next year and whatever changes Barry's choice makes (Going from being raised by Joe to being raised by both parents). The only big thing I keep wondering about was that tease of the Reverse Flash showing back up at the end of that episode in Feb, what was up with that?
  12. I think you got it except for I think the Temporal remenant Zoom was just around right before Zoom killed him and hadn't been Jay for a while. I'm just really interested to see where this is going and did they forget about the Reverse Flash showing back up or are we supposed to have forgotten about him until he shows up again (I'm guess to help Barry get his speed back.
  13. Stopped by Gamestop tonight and they had some Marvel Universe figures on clearence for $7.50. Picked up Thunderstrike and Armored Daredevil. Might have to go back and get Shanna the She Devil. Also had Doc Ock and Ultimate Spiderman but I didn't like either one/ Whats funny is I almost ordered a Armored DD off Ebay today for $9.
  14. I know it was taking at shot at the Prequels, but why do it? If it wasn't for the Prequels and Lucas pushing the technology we'd still have crappy CGI, most movies that are made today wouldn't have got made (Lord of the Rings, Any Marvel movie) and movies would for the most part all still be between 90 and 120 minutes long.
  15. Looks like Walmart is starting to put out new 6" cases, because I saw Jango for the first time last night. There was probably about 6 pegs full of figures, lots of Han's in the mix too. I've only seen the 4" Han once and wasn't impressed that much. I think with the home release we should start seeing new stuff on the shelves.
  16. I wish I had something to buy. I've been sticking to 4" lines , but they're all gone. Haven't bought any Joes since last fall. Picked up a Superior Iron Man a earlier this month and a couple of Marauder Task Force figures (great line of figures). Im at the point where I hate going to any of the stores and not finding anything I want.
  17. Found 4" First Order Stormtrooper Commander and unmasked Kylo Ren today. Almost didn't get them since they are $7 a figure now.
  18. For the most part store toy aisles are dead from January to March. Doing inventory, resets, and restock. Plus most stores still have so much SW product from Christmas (and I know it's not the actual 4" or 6" figures, but most store don't care all they see is lots of actual SW product). Within the next month we will start seeing more stuff on the shelves, especially with the home video release of the movie.
  19. Honestly I find it funny that I keep seeing people bashing DC and Mattel for doing this line. All the typical "only 40 year old guys living in their Mom's basement will buy these" sort of post all over the place. My 12 year old Daughter has been looking forward to the line since it was announced last fall. She wants Harley, Ivy and Bummblebee. The fact that there are four Targets around it potentially easier for her to get them. On a side not she also collects the Ever After High and Monster High dolls that Mattel makes and I guess these are "slightly" taller than those and she has complained about that. She also has complained about the New dolls that have only 5 POA, she thinks it's stupid that they don't move like the other dolls. So apparently scale and articulation matter to kids too.
  20. I hadn't had a lot of time for gaming the last couple months, but it didn't stop me from buying. So right now I've been playing catch up. Finished Halo 5 and Tomb Raider:RotTR. Tomb Raider was good, but Halo 5 was sort of short and didn't seem like a whole game. Bought Resident Evil Zero last week and played it for a bit, I have it on older systems so I'm not missing anything and started playing Dying Light but for some reason it was giving me headaches (some FPS do, but I haven't had one this bad since the original Halo). So I;m back to playing Destiny since they're doing Iron Banner this week.
  21. Don't really care about the spin off's, especially since known characters will be recast. When it's more about the look, like Boba Fett, I think it will be easier . However I am curious about Rogue One and how they will market the movie and how fans and Disney react to it's release.
  22. Well the new Walmart 4" black series are out now too (I think that makes them wave 3). Includes Endor Han, Finn, X Wing Poe and Rey. Didn't get any of them, but can see myself getting Rey (who has switchable heads) and maybe Poe. Just really wanting SA Phasma, but I guess she'll be in wave 4.
  23. Saw this today and just don;t know what Hasbro is thinking. I understand wanting to make money and having all these properties laying around, so lets tie them all together and try to make them fit. But I just don't see an natural way to fit them ALL together. Honestly the only way I see it working is if Hasbro adds Transformers to the mix. G.I.Joe and TF mix together okay. Add MASK to Joe and it can work. Have the TF meet ROM while in outer space, then ROM works. Use the Mirconauts as a part of ROM or TF (just for the Sci Fi connection)and it "might" work. But I just don't see Visionaries working. Well I doubt we will really see any of these actually on the screen anyway.
  24. Found the new 4" Walmart exclusive Black series today. The wave is First Order Storm Trooper,Kylo Ren and New Hope Leia. Hated spending the $13 a figure, but really wanted an articulated Ren and ST.
  25. We are sure as far from anything new Joe related since almost 20 years ago. Not to knock the Joe Club and what they do for collectors, but it's not bringing in new fans and not doing anything to help broaden the brand either. It's there to support an existing fan base. The market is just a very different place and with nothing other than Fan Fiction ( lets be truthful, even the comics are Fan Fiction at the moment) and it's how Joe is gonna stay. Hasbro just hasn't found any other way to market it right now. We are at least two years away from a movie and there is no place for Joe on TV right now. The toys are a hard thing to market because you have to market both the good guys and bad guys. Other toy lines are either Fantasy enough or Sci Fi, where Joe is mostly Military with those other elements thrown in. Any other military toy line markets the soldiers, not who they are fighting, Just look at how they had to market the 25th Anniverary line. They had to completely drop the words "terrorist" from Cobra because of the world we live in today, you wouldn't want kids to become attached to the bad guys or give them personalities that kids might end up liking. It's almost like the old Hollywood rules of the bad guy has to pay for his crimes by the end of the show. So your stuck. They either have to completely rebrand Joe as something else (which turns off the old fan base) or let it slide along until they can think of what to do.
