  1. Hey you could always turn him into ZOMBIE DEADPOOL!!! Your dog pretty much took care of it for you, just dress him up with some blood and some guts hanging around and youre good to go. I have always considered myself very lucky that my dog (toy rat terrier) has never been much of a chewer. My wife and I (mostly my wife) have even tried to get her to chew on Marvel Legends and GIJOEs and she just sits there and looks at us funny. SOrry for your loss but seriously, turn him into a zombie!
  2. I am concerned about the 5" scale of figures. If it isnt broke, dont fix it HASBRO!!! A little less articulation I can handle but shorter figures compared to what wave have had FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS is dumb.
  3. Did you guys catch that the latest ish of toyfare magazine revealed the new line up? I was skimming it last night and almost missed it! The new lineup... if you really wanna know........ is............ Jitsu Mosquitor and He-Man! Again, this is according to Toyfare magazine. hopefully we will see pics today if they arent already out! Toyfare actually shows a pic of the Jitsu mold.
  4. I would love to see 3 3/4" style Marvel Legends. Id say the chances are pretty slim, since SHS was basically the same thing and it seems to have flopped. Ive been tempted a few times to buy some of the SHS stuff at 3 and $4 prices, but I dont really need to. Regular Legends have been PLENTY To keep me busy with. What if Hasbro totally lost their minds, though, and made SIGMA 6 style Marvel Legends ? @hmmm@ I bet if it were Mattel they would do it lol. And just like Sigma 6, I would *NOT* buy them!
  5. Cant you just buy/rent it and watch it on a DVD drive at work? If youre able to watch whole movies on youtube at work, I would be surprised if the machines there dont have a DVD drive.
  6. but for February it could be considered a pretty big blockbuster. When do they determine if it will be or not?
  7. My friend and I were discussing this the other night, and I have not been able to find any info on it. Is it going to be IMAX or not?
  8. All I have to say is DAMMIT because I dont see Kang, Super Skrull, or Dragon Man listed in that F4 assortment. And, I already own every figure in the Spidey line except Mary Jane. If the BAF for the F4 is another Galactus Im going to be very upset. But if its a Sandman that could be cool. I hope the Spidey BAF is worth it, whatever it is because otherwise Im not buying all those figures...again!
  9. Is Ghost Rider going to be in IMAX?? I am very much looking forward to it. And what day does it come out?
  10. Thank you, GI Mike. I hope more of you will take a moment to vote. The website isnt taking anymore votes, but you can still vote via text message: Send a mobile text message to 31452 and enter “Jokes Ron” to cast your vote.
  11. Even better is the fact that Rachel McAdams is rumored to be in the film, either as a replacement for Holmes or some other character (Selena Kyle maybe?)
  12. I think without the 4 Horsemen, and with Mattel's handling of things, MOTU wouldnt have made it out of 2002. At least we got 2+ years of the action figures, and the mini statues keep coming. Thank God for the 4H!
  13. I Just picked up a Crisis on Infinite Earths Supergirl on Monday for 4 bucks, otherwise that Supergirl would be owned right now. She looks really good, they did an excellent job on the face and everything.
  14. Now that I have checked ebay I see there are a couple Chrome versions out there. Actually I think on ebay now there may be more chrome than regulars, or about even. The way my luck is, if I found this thing it CANT be that rare because I very rarely find chases. Also, I see the ones on ebay say 'comic book styling' at the top, where both my Steel and Parasite say 'New' at the top right corner.
  15. \ yeah the postings ahve really slowed down here, including my own. seems like these days i go a long time without getting stuff then get a ton at a time this past week Ive picked up: Hush Poison Ivy Hush Figure Power Girl Red Skull (loose) from Great Escape Marvel Select Ultimate Hulk Marvel Select Cloak and Dagger! Supergirl (Crisis on INf. Earths, 3.99 at Outer Limits Murf.) Man at arms, MOTU Hawkgirl Steel Parasite Ok now I need to stop for a few weeks lol
  16. I think that's supposed to simulate him being blasted by Supes laser vision. Or he's taking a lava bath in a volcano. Can't wait to get that awesome Steel figure, it totally blows away the DCDirect version! FYI, if anyone wants to see pics of the chrome Steel & Parasite I have posted them on page 3 of this topic: http://forums.toynewsi.com/index.php?showt...0#entry16297413 Or, heres the links: First closeup of Steel. You can kind of see the reflection in the chrome S plate Next closeup Steel in package Steel and Parasite Steel and Parasite w/ receipt
  17. Wow I had no idea Mattel was so quiet about this wave. I went into walmart last week and saw this packaging for the first time. Went back in today and the pegs were full of Parasite, Steel, Supergirl, And of course Supers and Bizarro. I meant to count exactly what was there...I got a rough estimate, it went something like this: 3 x Steel 3 x Supergirl (or more) 3 x Parasite 4+ x Superman 4+ x Bizarro 3 x Doomsday I just needed the Steel and Parasite figures. Actually I was just going to get Steel but Parasite was awesome. BUT the coolest thing is, as I was looking over the 3 Steel figures, I noticed right away that one has a CHROME 'S' Symbol, as opposed to regular silver plastic (which also looked great, but the chrome is better). Here are some pics...sorry if the quality is a bit shify (i.e. lines). My camera is being weird. First closeup of Steel. You can kind of see the reflection in the chrome S plate Next closeup Steel in package Steel and Parasite Steel and Parasite w/ receipt
  18. I picked up Steel this morning from Walmart in Franklin, TN. Actually, I picked up a Steel Variant this morning...There were a total of 3 on the pegs and I was looking at each one carefully to make sure nothing broken, getting the best paint, etc, when there was an obvious difference: The 'S' shield on the chest of one of them was a shiny chrome, as opposed to silver plastic of the other 2. I hope more are like this because it looks awesome! Not that the other 2 looked bad, but I much prefer this one over the others. I wish more of the figure could have this. Funny thing is I think this is actually a restock of these figures in this store...last week I noticed the new packaging but there was only 2 Bizarro and one Superman. So I picked up Steel and a Parasite. I didnt notice differences in any of the other figures, but I didnt check out Bizarro. This is an awesome wave and will sell very well I think.
  19. Yeah that would be awesome. I know these arent supposed to have any action features, because Mattel would consider then action figures and NECA cant do that, but maybe letting Scareglow actually glow wouldnt be breaking the rules. After all ,its all in a name!
  20. Please take a moment and go vote for Comedian Ron G at this link: http://64.26.25.176/dev2/poll.htm Some of you may be familiar with the show "Bill Bellamy's 'Who's Got Jokes?'" on TVOne. This show features comedians who are given a few minutes to show their stuff and to get judged by 3 different judges everytime (a bit like American Idol, but with more comedy). I went to middle school and high school with Ron G and graduated with him. I had lots of classes with him, and while I could sometimes be called the class clown, he was REALLY the class clown and is pretty much the funniest guy I know, hands down. He has made a name for himself in LA, has been on MTV's 'Date My Mom' and done some commercials, including ads for Checkers/Rallys burgers. Ron is a really good guy...very humble and down to earth. I hope youll take a minute to vote for him. You can also watch a clip of his audition tape. The final show will be this Saturday, Feb 3. I believe its at 10pm Eastern time, on channel TVOne. Thanks!!! You can also Send a mobile text message to 31452 and enter “Jokes Ron” or “Jokes “George” to cast your vote.
  21. It looks great, but I have to pass because of the price after shipping right now. Besides, I SO lucked out and was able to snag one at the 05 convention (the last one!) When you guys order this one, make sure you go through he-man.org and it helps to support them.
  22. It kills me to say this, but I had to pass. I had put in my pre order, got all the way down to the Shipping part and the total...and I had to back out. $42.++ for one figure? Nah, I cant do it right now. If I didnt have the '05 convention one I would, but f- it I must pass now. Why do they have to use UPS for shipping??? If they were using USPS the price would be half what it is now and I probably would have went through with it. UPS is wrong. Not to mention, I worked there for a while once and I KNOW the hatred that can go into some of those boxes as they are hurled around. I just hope these all dont sell out so maybe I can order one down the road. It realy looks kick ass.
  23. Why does the black guy have to be the first to be killed? jk I would say mekaneck. he is one of those characters that would have a pretty big impact, but not enough to throw off the masters completely. It would just make them wake up and start really kciking ass. They could also do Ram Man. In the old series, Orko definitely needed to go.
