  1. For a quick custom, I decided to spruce up my retail version of the 200x He-Man figure. I muted the bright yellow hair color down, painted the red ribbons on the armor, and also added some chrome accents to said armor, lastly I added the vac metalized sword that was included with the 200x Castle Grayskull. Hope you enjoy this version. More to come.
  2. Hercules Unbound is a straight up homage of the Remco toys take on the character, from DC Comics run of the late seventies. I plan on adding variants, featuring looks that more closely resemble his appearance from that series. The head is a slightly modified WWE MOTU Ricky Steamboat. As always, I hope you enjoy this take, and if you do please press like, or leave feedback.
  3. Arak. Son of Thunder, was DC Comics answer to Conan the Barbarian during his early 80s run. He was a native American Viking prince that traveled the globe on daring adventures. My figure pays homage to the second release Remco version, with a few added tweaks from the book and my own design. Hope you enjoy this take on the character, and please hit like or leave feedback, if you did.
  4. In his youth, Machiste was enslaved by the forces of King Deimos and forced to work in the galley of the slave ship Gryfalcon. It was here that he met the displaced U.S. Air Force colonel Travis Morgan. The two became close allies and the work aboard the Gryfalcon hardened their minds and bodies. From there they were sold as gladiators and he joined Morgan, now better known as the Warlord in a bid for their freedom. Machiste is another character of my own design. I didn't care for his Remco version, which didn't include his cool mace hand, and I thought the comics version wasn't regal enough for the eventual King of Skartaris. Hope you enjoy this version, and leave feedback. And as always, thanks for looking.
  5. Deimos was a high priest of the kingdom of Thera who used knowledge hidden in the legendary Scrolls of Blood to ascend to the throne of that city-state. Not content with a single city-state, he plotted to conquer all of Skartaris only to be foiled by Travis Morgan—now known as the Warlord. Deimos is my own design, as I didn't care for the Remco or Comic characters look. I wanted him to appear menacing and as a threat to the Warlord, and not a generic sorcerer wearing a bikini. I hope you enjoy this original take on the character and please feel free to leave feedback.
  6. From a now closed on line store. When asked if they would be reopening or if they had more inventory to sell, was told no, to both. Sorry.
  7. Travis Morgan, the Warlord is a former combat-trained pilot for the United States Air Force who accidentally crash-landed in the strange land of Skartaris. Skartaris is a world of swords, sorcery and dinosaurs, where he was forced to begin a new life for his own survival. As the Warlord, Morgan travels Skartaris adventuring and righting wrongs. The Warlord was made with a reworked head cast of the Remco figure, the cape is from the DC Primal age Batman, and the body is an Origins He-Man. Hope you enjoy and leave feedback. I was trying to stay as close as possible to the Remco version with this one. When, I tackle the figure again in the future, I will go for a more comic accurate version.
  8. Next up for my McFarlane Super Powers villains is the Manhunter Robot. The Manhunters are the first attempt of the Guardians of the Universe to create an interstellar police force that could combat evil all over the cosmos, they serve the Guardians well. However, the Manhunters become obsessed with the act of "hunting" criminals. Their code, "No man escapes the Manhunters" becomes more important to them than seeing justice done.
  9. Continuing with my villains for the McFarlane Super Powers line, It's time for Doomsday! I used a DC Superheroes upper half and filled in the elbow joints with apoxie sculpt, and a fresh repaint. Then for the lower half, I really went to work with the apoxie on the new 52 Darkseid Super Powers figure. Lot of fun. Hope you enjoy this, and leave feedback. Much appreciated and as always, more to come.
  10. With the announcement that McFarlane toys would be adding Deathstroke to the new Super Powers collection, I thought now would be as good a time as any to add some Teen Titans for him to throw down with. So to start things off, here's Wally West as Kid Flash.
  11. First up for my McFarlane Super Powers villains is Despero. I wanted his appearance to mirror his 90s Total Justice figure and the Darkseid base, I think worked perfectly for it. Quick repaint and a few accents and one of the League's oldest foes is ready for battle. Thanks for looking as I Hope you enjoy this, and as always, please hit the "like" button and drop a comment.
  12. Next up for my McFarlane Super Powers line (and my online job application for McFarlane toys, ) is Hawkman. I repainted the original toys head and used the McFarlane Superman body with apoxie sculpt added to the boot tips, then upgraded the wings by using a Marvel Universe 3.75" Angel. Hope you continue to enjoy these, and please hit "like" button and leave feedback. More to come. ( I think, I need some villains now.)
  13. Continuing my McFarlane Super Powers collection (Because, I'm impatient and can't wait for Todd.) is Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Just a quick repaint of the John Stewart GL, with a repainted Superman head that was modified with apoxie sculpt. Hope you enjoy this, and leave feedback. More to come.
  14. Next up for the McFarlane Super Powrrs line, The King of the seven seas, Aquaman! I, figured if Todd does get around to making the character, that it will be the longer haired version or a Jason Mamoa movie styled. So I wanted to make mine as a Filmation inspired pre-Super Friends version complete with his black boots. Hope you enjoy this and hit "like" and post feedback. ( As a side note, I might lop off a hand and add an open one, so he can hold a trident.)
  15. Here's just a quick repaint of the recent McFarlane toys Super Powers Darkseid. Wanted it to be a darker alternative, and closer to his original colors than to the brighter Jim Lee designed version of the character. I used Testors color shift paint, so it appears either dark blue or purple depending on how the light hits it. Also finished up with Vallejo blue violet for the belt trim. Hope you enjoy this, and leave feedback. More to come.
  16. Ok, this took a little time, mostly because of the belt. It was removed from a bendy figure then, I repainted the gray to a lighter tone and the blue to the Super Powers colors. Hope you enjoy this and leave feedback. Who's next? You decide. (actually I, will. But more to come.)
  17. This was a fairly quick adjustment to the recent McFarlane Super Powers Superman. I repainted a shade darker blue, and replaced the head with a shrunk down DC Direct Tim Bruckner sculpted head, then finally added a cloth cape. Hope you enjoy and please leave feedback.
  18. Just a simple repaint of the recent McFarlane toys Super Powers Batman in black. Also painted the belt a slightly darker desert yellow and added a better kenner Dark Knight collection black cape. ( Get rid of the ribbon material, Todd.) Hope you enjoy, and leave feedback. More to come.
  19. I made this Filmation inspired Trap Jaw using parts from ROE Kronis, WWE MOTU Steve Austin, and finally a head cast of the MOTU Classics Filmation sculpt. Hope you enjoy this, press like and leave feedback. Thanks for looking. More to come.
  20. Here's my Secret Wars style "Back in Action" He-Man and Skeletor. Okay, this needs a little set up. I was inspired to put this together after seeing Mattel Creations using the Secret Wars molds to bring back some of their 60s and 70s properties in a mail order "Back in Action" line. I thought it would be fun to add their most profitable boy's toy venture to the mix. Both are made using various Secret Wars figures and hydro shrunk casts of the Classics heads.
  21. Used my dremel tool, to make a small slit through the armor and back, then placed the wings inside that with a dab of super glue.
  22. MOTU Origins Vultak! I made Vultak using a MOTU Origins Skeletor base with arms from ROE Keldor. The vest is from a WWE MOTU Randy Savage, and the wings are from a DC Multiverse Hawkman. Lastly the head is a cast from the classics figure. Hope you enjoy, hit like and leave feedback. Thanks for looking.
  23. Here's my take on a MOTU Origins White Ninja, Slamurai. It was made using a cast of the Ninjor classics head from MOTU Plastic Curves shop, MOTU Origins Prince Adam torso, arms, and upper legs, with John Cena WWE MOTU lower legs. The vest is from Jitsu. Thanks for looking. hope you enjoy and leave feedback. More Masters to come.
  24. MOTU Origins Lord Masque, was made using the head, belt, and harness from the MOTU Classics figure, a random Origins base, with WWE MOTU Ricky Steamboat arms, John Cena arm straps for his leg bands, and finally ROE Keldor boots and cape. Hope you enjoy and leave feedback. Thanks for looking.
