A Slight New Hope alteration and Return of the NOOOO!

Obi wan noise is ridiculous. I thought the original was fine. The Vader scream wasn't as bad, but why mess with it? I could have done without the scream. Sounds a little off too. -
'The Blues Brothers' Returning But To The Small Screen?
Bringbackmy80s replied to The Wire's topic in Action Figures
In my mind the Blues Brothers will always be John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. They were the real deal. I don't know if a tv show could capture that magic. -
I happened upon the Backstage in a Suncoast once. The box was all dented and banged up, but my heart caught in my throat when I saw it. I literally looked around to see if anybody was watching me, as if I had just discovered a briefcase full of drug money or something. Best $50 I ever spent. Too funny. Did you knock down an old lady to get to the register?

It's amazing how simple stills of cut scenes or alternate angles can be nostalgic.

You guys are the reason I can never find Joe figures at the retail stores.
-
looks like Spring 2012 Thank you!
-
I don't collect them, but they look really cool.

Love that Collect and Connect Stel. Too bad I'm not a Lantern fan so I wouldn't all the figures just for Stel.

Who is the guy with the Nick Fury suit and derby hat?
-
The ML BAF is still my favorite Sentinel. The SDCC classic color scheme is really cool. I prefer it to the retail version.

Really I missed that one hahahaaaa Your MK banner slows down my loading time.

Can't wait to switch to iphone when my contract ends. iphone 5 here I come baby! I used to be a security guard so the Netflix on the phone would have been great on the late night shift. Yes it was a cake job, but it still sucked.

Some collectors really ARE jerks...and thieves, too.
Bringbackmy80s replied to rash's topic in DC Comics
They need to come up with a special tamper proof seal on the packages. If the seal is broken turn the item away. With the kind of turn-over employees working in these big box stores, I think it's a lot to ask to train them on specific toy lines. They sell a lot of other items too. Plus just a visual check isn't efficient either as the average worker couldn't tell the difference between a figure from 2005 and a similar figure from 2011. We as toy geeks could spot it from a mile away, but 50yr old Mildred working returns wouldn't know the difference.
