  1. Yeah, I finally peaked my head back in these parts. Nah, I'm not around enough to warrant commish responsibilities anymore. The only thing I would like to see is the history of the league set-up since this is the sixth year of the TNI Football league (is this place still called TNI?). Sorry, so much newness.
  2. What the heck has happened around here? Talk about changes. Anyway, I'm sign-up #10.
  3. Thanks to Prime for filling out the league. Yahoo opened up some time slots for this weekend, so I changed the draft date to this Saturday at 2:30 central time. Hope to see everyone there.
  4. Sorry to everyone for not checking back earlier. I thought the draft was later than it actually was. I screwed up, and I'm sorry for not preparing ahead of time. Apparently, the season March 31. I've changed the draft time to this Thursday at 4:45 CDT to make it a full season (unfortunately, that's the best time they have available at the moment). If anyone wants to delay the season by a few days until we can find a better time (and another manager), we can do that. Just voice your vote in this thread. I'm sure people rather have an option of doing a live draft than autopick draft anyway, but I could be wrong.
  5. TNI BASEBALL 2008 It's that time again. Baseball season is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing: the TNI Fantasy Baseball league is ready for another season. 6. Woohoo, second straight TNI Super Bowl appearance. Hopefully this year I don't lay an egg. I got the perfect week to go against Outsiders this week with Brady putting up a big fat 0. So far, free agent pick-ups have really helped me out this year (Derek Anderson, Ryan Grant, and Mason Crosby), not to mention some low-round draft picks. With how things have turned out for me, I feel pretty confident heading into the Super Bowl against either Pillbugs or Obi Wan.
  7. I don't know how my team pulled it off, but I started 0-2 and then pulled 10 wins out of 11 games to finish with the first seed. I don't even a good QB. Heck, I'm starting Trent Dilfer this week. I'm probably the most overrated (or lucky) number one seed in TNI Football history.
  8. I'm lucky that I've pulled off 3 straight wins. I have no business beating Angel Investigations any other time of the season. Lucky that I got him when the Bengals had a bye week.
  9. 3 out of 14 right for me that week.
  10. Sweet wrap-up Outsiders. I just wish I could have taken Romo now... Anyway, I mind as well say that I doubt I'll be able to do any Break Downs this year. I'm in a really important stage of my life, and I can't devote the time to the league stats as I used to. But if Outsiders or anyone else would like to keep doing them, I'm all for it. This league has always been a blast, and the wrap-ups always adds to the league's depth.
  11. Been too busy this week. I'm hoping to have one up for Week 2.
  12. What the hell. I'm eliminated in the first week again in Survival Football.
  13. ADC/TNI FOOTBALL 2007 PRE-SEASON BREAK DOWN This is the fifth annual ADC/TNI Fantasy Football League. Due to the longevity of the league, this edition will be a pre-season Break Down to give some insight on the history of the league. Hopefully this will invigorate some competitive juices in everyone before the season starts next week. To illustrate, Intergalactic D-cons finished 11th place out of 14 teams in the 2005 season, so D-cons received 4 of 14 points, for a total of a 28.6% success rating. D-cons finished in first place out of 18 teams last season, so D-cons received 18 of 18 points, for a total of a 100% success rating. So out of a possible 32 points, D-cons cumulatively received 22 points, for a TNI success rating of 68.8% (22 divided by 32).
  14. Sorry about the link earlier. Should be all set now.
  15. Believe it or not, the FIFTH annual TNI Fantasy Football season is ready for sign-up on Yahoo already. If you're interested, enter your Yahoo ID! and head over to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1...ster/joinleague to sign up. Select "Join Custom" league and then it'll ask you for the league ID# and password. Those are provided right here: League ID#: 39898 Password: tni Just go through the prompts, come up with a clever gridiron team name, and you should be ready for some football (we just have to be patient at the moment). Please look over the rules, playoff dates, and draft time so we can come to a consensus on the settings. The stat categories remain the same from last year. Only thing different is that max teams has been reduced to 16 at the moment. Last year, we had 18 teams and that got to be a bit too much. Also, playoff dates are scheduled for eight teams, starting in Week 14 and the TNI Super Bowl ending in Week 16 (one week before the regular season ends). In previous years, the Super Bowl was a bit of letdown in Week 17 due to NFL teams benching key players, thus fantasy teams didn't have their best stuff. So to combat that problem I moved the playoff dates up by a week. Just throw your suggestions out here. If you still want the playoffs to go from Week 15-17, we can do that too. You'll also notice an ALL-TIME tab on the front page. Here, you can view the last four seasons of the TNI Fantasy Football league if you're interested. They actually kept all the draft results from the 2004 season to this last season. As of now, draft day is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, September 1st at 3:30 CDT, so a date change won't be a problem if some want it changed too. Whatever your preferences, just list them now. So what are you waiting for? Sign up now before it's too late!
  16. lol, the lottery is always entertaining.
  17. I don't care for the NBA right now, and if its Spurs vs Pistons, then I won't care even more/
  18. Not sure if I can keep this up, but I'll throw one in here. 19. If no one has seen it, I added an All-Time section to the front page of the ADC/TNI Fantasy Baseball page. When you click it, it'll show the top three finishers in that year. Plus, you can view the rosters and archives and stuff. It's good stuff.
  20. Yeah, Raiders had a great draft other than their return on Moss. A 4th round pick for one of the games best wide receivers is pretty sad, especially considering Welker was exchanged for more value. They'll need patience with Russell though. Browns are banking themselves with this draft. Joe Thomas is amazing as an o-linemen, so with him going #3 is solid. They give up next year's 1st round pick to grab Quinn at #22. Browns are gonna need to do well this year for that trade to work. If not, the coach and GM will probably get canned. Not sure about too much else. My Packers had a pretty uneventful draft, especially considering they couldn't get Moss. But whatever, he was gonna present too many problems anyway.
  21. Sorry guys that I haven't been able to keep up with the Break Downs this year. Been a bit more busy than I was expecting to keep the recaps going.
