  2. How about : Flash Gordon , The Black Hole , The Thing , or Westworld ? I dont know if this would really be considered sci-fi , but I thought Zathura was pretty good too .
  3. I would have voted off the Iron Inforcer since he had two strikes against him already : The whole gun/killing people thing & not helping the little girl .

  8. I agree , the people on Most Haunted look like they are acting sometimes , especially when Derek gets "possessed" . Anyway , our house is supposedly haunted . It was built in 1880 , & was the original town doctors office . A few people have told us stories of weird things people have seen in the house . I really havent seen any concrete evidence that would make me believe it , but my wife has heard/seen some strange things around here . A lot of the pictures that we take in the house have "orbs" in them .
  9. Sesame Street : Slimey , Cookie Monster , & Don Music . The Muppet Show : Dr. Teeth , Zoot , & Animal . Muppets Tonight : Pepe , & Sal Manilla . Fraggle Rock : None . Sorry , I never liked that show .
  10. A friend of mine ( Joe Johnson ) did a short Batman film for a contest , & gave me a small part in it . He used to produce a public access wrestling show that I hosted , & wanted me to provide the thugs w/ wrestling masks . I own all of the masks shown , but am wearing the gold bulldog faced one , myself . Check it out here if you're interested :
  11. Wasnt there some type of controversy about the Austin Powers films , due to the use of the term "Shag" ? The meaning is obvious , but it seems like it would be about the least offensive word for it .
  12. Not that I agree with Harry Knowles much , but after reading this review , I think I will just watch the original again : (Minor Spoiler/language warning) : http://www.aintitcoolnews.com/display.cgi?id=23490
  13. I have the original Deadpool mini-bust , & its #30/2500 .

  15. I thought the movie was O.K. , but I have a question : On IMDB it has Omega Red listed in the credits , does anyone know what part he was in ? He wasnt supposed to be the guy that was chasing Wolverine , throwing the curly things at him was it ? If not , who was that ?
  16. Have you seen the Changeling ? Its an older , ghost/mystery movie starring George C. Scott , but it is still pretty creepy : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080516/ I just ordered the DVD "Magic" : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077889/ I will let you know how it is after I get a chance to watch it .
  17. Yep . I saw it when it came out a few years ago . I liked it a lot better than the Hills Have Eyes remake though . But yes , it does have many similarities to a lot of other horror films . Its the basic "fish out of water" or "stranger in a strange land" story that we have seen used over & over again in the horror genre ( The Texas Chainsaw Massacre films , House of 1,000 Corpses , Monster Man , Dagon , & even Deliverence ) . I recently read that Henry "Black Flag" Rollins is going to be in Wrong Turn 2 .
  18. Watched it on DVD last night! It's a stinker! Awesome nudity scenes, but the gore was pretty over-the-top (along with the plot) and it was pretty boring in all, but DEFINITELY "so bloody it was hard to watch" at points. Yellow pus out of the EYE? @puke@ I didnt care for Hostel much either . I was really looking forward to it too , since I liked Eli Roths first film , Cabin Fever . After watching Hostel , I cant understand why some people are praising him as the new Messiah of the horror genre . IMO , Hostel was average at best .
