I believe it was just a quickie they kinda threw in because the planned Professor X variant wouldn't cost out.

Didn't see this brought up yet over here. Jesse confirmed that Captain Marvel's variant is indeed Genis and Spiderwoman's is gonna be the Black costume SW. So along with the Thorbuster IM variant Destroyer, we're looking at 9 characters in ML15.

They'll be shown at SDCC in less than a month. The results for the voting on Round 6 will be disclosed then as well.

Well, its not like ML Joes would be Sigma style. Just look at all the different kinds of Star Wars figures - Transformers, 4", 7" Unleashed, 2" Unleashed, Attactix, etc.

Nice paint job. I'd go with another base choice though. Black Bolt is a bulkier guy, more like Captain America.

Most likely Luke Cage variant is the look from the Heroes 4 Hire book that came out during Heroes Reborn. He had a grey/silver shirt going on along with the tiara.
As for Psylocke, I've been saying there's 3 main possibilities: Crimson Dawn face tattoo w/ a dark blue or black outfit, a translucent all black figure to mimic her Shadow ability, or a new and improved Elektra.

It will definitely sell.
Best part - they haven't dramatically changed anything from the TB Spidey and Friends line. This bodes very well for a great transition of ML too. Hasbro knows when things work and when to not reinvent the wheel.

It was said that the Hasbro deal would not have any impact on Marvel Select. And if they go by their original plan, they were going to do 36 figures in Marvel Select. So far they've done 26. 28 if they count the 2 MTV Spider-man figures. That's including all the way through CLoak and Dagger, so either 8-10 more.

No, Parachute Spidey and SMC Daredevil are two different molds.
As for some of the others:
Sasquatch does not re-use anything from Man-thing.
Maestro is a kind of re-use of HC Smart Hulk. Only the torso really.
AOA Sabretooth does not re-use any of Venom.
Falcon does appear to be an Iron Fist re-use, but Antman is not. Different shoulder articulation.
Couple additions:
Absorbing Man -> XMC Ultimate Sabretooth
Gambit -> Hawkeye (upper legs)
Parachute Spidey -> Sinister Six Electro
Bullseye -> Giant-man

Ms. Marvel and Captain Britain were exclusives in the 5 inch line as well.
What I find more amazing is the number of characters that were exclusives in the 5 inch line but made it into regular release in ML: Bullseye, Wonder Man, Taskmaster, Man-thing, Power Man, Iron Fist, Black Widow, Moon Knight, Black Panther, Falcon, Captain Marvel, and Vision.

I just have to know why I paid $25 for the Scorpion/Subzero set and didn't get any weapons, while the new single packs are $12 and come loaded with weapons.
You paid to get them early that way.
And I wouldn't count on cheaper versions this time. When Jazwares finally responded about Series 2, the only info they gave for orders was Hot Topic. They did not respond when I asked about other retailers. Big Lots, KB and several online retailers are still choking on SEries 1. Hot Topic may be it.

There has been NOTHING to point towards cancellation. We're just at the end of May and WM and 13 are already out. There's plenty of time to put out 2 more series before the end of the year.
Don't start worrying about any series. It's pointless and just will cause uproar where none need be started.

There's several things not on their site yet, ML15, SMC19, Icons 2, Face Off Series 2, etc.
They will more than likely be up after SDCC when better pics and less prototypes are shown.

Not a chance this will happen. They've got a really good looking new female mold to go with. Also, seeing as this is a 6 piece BAF wave, she'll be 2 per case.

They didn't show Cyclops disintegrating because it would have blown any impact the death of Xavier had. He's dead.
And Rogue is best left un-powered. She never contributed anything and trying to do the Ms. Marvel thing at this point would be idiotic.

I'd say he's dead. They just wanted to save showing the disintegration for Xavier so it would have more of a shocking impact.

With the smaller vehicles, it shouldn't take a whole 6 figure wave to build them. Heck, we were able to get motorcycles packed in with one character in ML. I'd think we could at least get a couple per wave.

Yeah, the 5 variants per series has been known for awhile now. But this is the first confirmation on what the actual variants for Capt. Marvel and Spider-woman would be.
