    MP convoy

I can't wait to pick more up on clearence.
  2. If you want to, go ahead. Just make sure yu host it yourself and resize it down to a better size.
  3. Hehe, either way he's still a traitor. He should be holding up a Japanese flag... Japanese? Optimus Prime is American! Convoy is japanese anyways, chinese would be the most appropriate, that's where all the TFs are made.
  4. Fell free to post your own tf figure pics.
  5. The reason why you see alot of heavy set officers is because that's the only way they can join the organization. You can't just slap armor on anybody and the officer class gives the heavier set people a way to join. Their contribution is needed too, almost everytime you see a group of armored people you'll see one officer or non helmeted person doing armor watch " a duty of watching to see if any of the armored troopers needs help adjusting their armor or keeping track of it so pieces don't get lost in the act of trooping". There's other tasks that aren't easy to do in armor and these people help facilitate those needs. Some of the best armor builders can't wrap themselves in armor and look good so an officer outfit is their way in. Each chapter has it's own strictness on membership, I would hate though to hear about a group not excepting membership due to armor quality. One of the goals for a 501st chapter should be to help people "not in the know" become "in the know" and help them with their armor building skills.
  6. The link is gone to the Prime picture There was nothing wrong with Primes transform It's stiff, especially when the semi cab first lifts off the ground, I know he was going for the ultra dramatic slow transformation effect but it drags out. It looks like a giant invisible hand is picking up a tf toy and transforming it, it needs to be more fluid. I'd also drop out the sequence of prime grabbing his gun, instead have him lifting his arm up with the gun already in it. The vents opening, the foot folding, the jet pack and the head coming out are just fine.
  7. yep, mace's on the right and luke'son the left. Mace's is a little bit pinker in person though.
  8. I just got a new digital camera, a canon rebel xt, and took some nghtshots of my friends playing around with my sabers. If you like this one I have some more I could post.
  9. I thought www.3dblasphemy.com had a lot better tf film even though it's extremely short I beleive it's what the movie will look like. This one is great up till the time starscream starts firing, then the horrible optimus transforming animation sequence.
  10. a full scale hunter would be cool but it would be expensive, $30 to $40. I wouldn't have a problem buying a couple but it would be a new price point level for joyride. They should offer a 12" MC and a regular sized scaled hunter in an assortment of $35 dollar figures.
  11. so what's the case pack out for the silver ones, I only bought the two colored ones I saw. I'm love'm but I don't know if I'll keep buying them at $14.99. I could go for $10 and loose the overly glamored packaging that detracts away from the figure.
  12. very very cool, yeah that's how the smaller mc should have been done.
  13. Synch it's a 1978 starbird and yeah they based it on the same ship I used to create my custom, but it's the colors and the logo placement on thier toy that tends to make me want to say they created it after seeing my custom. The silvers and blacks are the same and the logo's placement and oreintation are too, thoose are the giveaways that they based it on my design.
  14. It's a starbird toy from milton bradley 78-81. My idea came from watching the TFTM and seeing their ship color and design and from owning the starbird toyline. I know it's nothing to stand on but the paint colors are exactly the same on the rear two thirds of the ship and even the emblems are in the same locations and facing. There is no color variation at all from how my custom is painted.
  15. the offending hasbro titanium toy
  16. My custom created around two years ago.
  17. I really don't think it's a terrible choice, they should offer the game colored version of MC every once in a while but yeah they could atleast give him so cool new weapons for the people who will revisiting this version again. Battle damagedor even a covie blood spayed one wouldn't be a a bad option too.
  18. Why do something like that and not do it to full scale?
  19. I know bungie has tight control over the movie but we're still probably going to see an interpretation of the original halo armor, the movie as far as I know tells the halo story from the beginning(internet movie gossip and rumor). If joyride just repackages the halo 1 toys I feel as though they probably won't resemble the movie version quite enough. Hollywood also has their hands in the marketing and they always have their paws in merchandising, it's not uncommon to see seperate deals with other manufacturers for merchandise. Joyride is very different but I have yet to be dissapointed with any of the Halo figures they have made. The vehicles in the smaller scale are all great. The figures are well articulated. What is the gripe besides the high price? Lack of detail (including scale and fine detailing). lack of paint apps (wrong colors or lack of colors) Articulation up till recently was very poor except on MC alot of quality control problems distribution Lack of communication with it's customers, sure they have a pretty good listing of their products and upcomming ones but they have no direct way to have the fans/customers leave their feedback. I would like to see an official joyride forum where the fans can play a role in what and how the line evolves. Joyride really needs good communication since halo toys are by far a niche toy made for the halo following. It's not that joyride is absolutely terribly horribly bad but that there are other companies out there that have done so much better on other lines. Joyride has always been a an off brand figure company stumbling through and making a line here or there of some odd video game or such. Up till halo most people couldn't have told you what joyride had made. I just hate to see halo being used as their test subject to make better action figures, I'd rather had gone with a company who would do a better job overall right off the bat. I could only imagine what a company like art asylum, mc farlane, four horsemen studios or a few others could have done.
  20. Toys are just a given for the movie, they're not going to turn down franchise money on movie related halo products. I fully expect to see halo toilet paper to halo the flamethrower, in merchandise.
  21. I'm sending them all in, If I don't use them I'll trade the figures for other stuff, someone will want them at some point. If not I can always use them as great gifts to my friends that are into star wars but don't necessarily collect the toys.
  22. Where have you been?? Google it or go straight to the horse's mouth here http://www.bungie.net/News/TopStory.aspx?s...rilla&p=4955829
  23. 17??? Why? Because when oppurtunity opens a door I take advantage of it. Now I'll have trading fodder or even army builders. The R2's alone are great for customizing into other versions and such. I wish I could score some of the Target tiefighters for a decent price, Anyone's target still have any, anyone buy multiples you want to unload?
  24. What? The Early Bird sets? Isn't it too late to send those off now? Yes the early bird 4 packs, and no, the date has been extended to march '06. They have an extra sticker on each one saying so. Why not rebuy your returns?
