I can't determine if the white mark on the figures face under the eye is a chip or a teardrop. Anyone know?
-
I dont know what you guys are talking about those waves are everywhere warming pegs and will probably make my likelihood of seeing VvV before Xmas harder.

I don't suck...sleazy swappers do
-
While I agree figure swapping is sleazy...You guys are so quick to assume its us younger collectors doing it. More so than that, I thought it was amusing that GeneralZod doesnt think us "kids" can cover a large area. Let me assure you, I have every SW figure released since the '95 relaunch, every Joe since the relaunch, and most of the MOTU series, along with other collections where I am not neccesarily a completist. I have to cover half the state's stores to be able to keep up with this. Another funny thing is how the older collectors, who know me quite well, have basically declared war on me to try and stop me from getting anything. Now, I make it a point to foil them as well. It's people my age working at the toy stores...they are willing to go out back for me, but now that I've told them about some of the other "infamous" collectors they have stopped being cooperative with them.

My good luck continues! I got the Dignitary, McQuarrie, etc. wave today! Let me tell you this was a very nicely done set!
And yes these are still showing up as an aisle long display, I swear they restock it every other day! My luck is going quite well in collecting these days, minus MOTU but thats a whole nother topic....

No, it isn't liquidation when they are still selling them for 9.96 a pop!

Hey there,
In order to focus my collecting, I am getting rid of LOTR. They were never really my cup of tea anyway. I think I have all the accessories but email me and be sure because I am not 100% sure what goes with what. I'll be asking 5 dollars a piece for them, but buying more will save u on shipping as I will not be jacking the price like most people. I will also listen to offers, especially on multiple ones.
FOTR
Saruman
RingWraith
Baromir vs. Lurtz
Stryder
Frodo
Orc Overseer

Wormtongue
Gondorian Ranger
King Theoden

::Sighs in relief:: Thanks Decepticon, I'll be sure to keep any future info coming #US1#

You will never see an absolute clear winner in a Crossover...neither side wants their character to lose without some reason why...kinda like wrestling...

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to get ur hopes up for nothing.
-
Haha, walking stick, my thoughts exactly!

My Wal-Mart was in the same rut you guys are describing, and then, BAM! Not only Star Wars, but other lines I collect as well have started showing up in abundance. Did ANYONE else find this?
-
I hope you all don't really believe that is KBToys.
-
Honestly, I had never heard of the COPS line. Thanks for the info.

Those have been out since school (college) started around here.

Tweaking that awful battle would be good, always one of my least favorite parts of the trilogy. Take out Greedo shooting, or fix it considerably. I like the extra celebration scenes in Jedi, but bring back the original music to that part. Also, bring back the original music scene in Jabba's palace. Replacing chimp boy Emperor would be nice too. I doubt we will see these until after Ep3 is released on DVD. Then we'll see a New Trilogy DVD set, and later a Old Trilogy set. They don't wanna cram everything out there now, when there is going to be years and years of Star Wars dormantness to follow ep3.

Be sure to check behind the bike racks, where fisher price stuff usually is.

Why would 2 area walmarts be putting out the planet of the apes toys? i didnt think they did liquidations?
-
Come to Mass, waves 1 and 2 are pegwarmers. The vehicles are everywhere. The only thing hard to find are the 3-packs.
-
My local Wal-Mart is a Supercenter (the first one ever built!), don't know if that makes a difference? It may also have something to do with our new-much-more-toy-experienced Toy Manager. Anyway, hope you guys find something.

Michael Myers is a human? Since when?

No not just clone wars, there are many other waves there. It is MOSTLY clone wars though, especially wave 2. There are an abundance of the repacks, and i swear there were 40 wa-7 waitress droids. I didn't see any, but the bottom shelfs were mostly open besides some older stuff, but perhaps they've reconsidered carrying the vehicles?

Hi there-
I thought I'd give everyone the heads up that my local Wal-Mart put up a new full-length aisle dedicated to Star Wars similar to when Ep2 was released. They have slews of new figures, and are loaded with the second wave of Clone Wars figures in particular.
Good luck.

McQuarrie was last to go here too, which was a big surprise to me.
