  1. Ripped about 200 cds onto itunes. very time consuming. I also buy a few for .99 here and there.
  2. It amazes me how my less computer literate friends have tons of spyware, malware, trojans, and don't even realize it or realize how dangerous it is to their security.
  3. 60 GB. A little big, but I love it. Very quick learning curve. You'll breathe a sigh of relief for not having to lug CDs around anymore.
  4. After my last Virus debacle (thank you to all those who gave me help in the thread and via PM) I have made the change to Firefox, which I've heard is a safer browser and doesn't let nasty scripts run without prompt. It'll take a little getting used to, but it seems pretty cool so far. Anyone else have it? I notice TNI views quite a bit different.
  5. I sent you a message, Nuff Said, gotta have a fellow HBK-Guns N Roses fan on my friends list afterall.
  6. How about "Going to California" by either Led Zep or Fuel?
  7. The first one I used a lot was an HP around 96-97. My first that I owned was a Compaq, followed by a Dell, and now finally my Vaio.
  8. I agree with Skipperbecks, thats the theme from the OC show which would definitely coincide with Hollister's theme and style.
  9. Ames Dept Store Ben Franklins
  10. I have the 60 GB Ipod, which was costly, but I love it to death. As long as you import it into I-tunes, any ol' MP3 will do.
  11. I would have, but I'm concerned they may snitch on me for some of my files...
  12. Yeah, this thing is totally back, and kicking my #$%. It's even smart enough to stop a "Go Back" Recovery.
  13. I'm finally getting out of this mindset, I went berzerk with ROTS, going beyond just my usual completism of the toys, but going into food, tie-ins, and just everything. It has left me so far in debt, it taught me a valuable lesson. Now, across the board of all my collections, I am going to focus on quality and what I like.
  14. Thanks guys, I'm gonna keep running constant scans til I'm sure... I use my charge way too often to take any chances!
  15. I think I got it... It ate my firewall (blackice) my virus scan (mcafee) and ad-aware things for breakfast. I had to manually search my C drive but I think I found them all. Talk about a waste of about 10 hours...

To make a long story short, my computer was bombarded with (literally) hundreds of scumware, adware, trojans, etc. last night all from ONE single click from a friend's IM. Now of course, my IM is doing the same to everyone. Anyone, my Virus Scan has found what it calls a "Memory Trojan." Unlike the other 100s of infected files, this can't be deleted because it says it is write protected. So, I go to manually inspect the file with the path it gives. C:\WINDOWS/etb/pokapoka70.exe Now, there is no visible etb folder anywhere that I can find. I also tried using the windows search feature for both the etb and poka things and again, not there. Any ideas on what I should do?
  17. Don't mind him, he just makes random ridiculous comments from time to time.
  18. Lol Ska just cuz you got cranky when we used bad words doesn't mean we can't try and play nice this time!
  19. Glad to hear you're safe... Hang in there and keep us posted!
  20. I think we should bring back the AIM chatrooms we had for awhile, I remember that lead to various people becoming "chummy" over IM.
  21. Halo 2 and CS.... trying to sharpen my trigger finger again
  22. Part 1 was great. Part 2 was so-so. I loved Statham but the bad guys didn't do it for me.
  23. I thought it was ok... The acting was very good, and Cillian was amusing at the very least.
