  1. I think I will need to have it in my hand to see if it worth it, I already have the Target version so it will really be up to the packaging to convince me to pull the trigger.
  2. I'm holding off until the inevitable Book of Boba version, personally.
  3. While the sequel didn't blow me away, I am still anxious for the third...
  4. I think The Vulture may be a tad hard to pull off on the big screen as we know the character today, but what a great choice of actor!
  5. thinks it might be time to show ADC some love again!

  6. I'm glad you made this post, because I was just about to. I just accepted a new position yesterday, so I am going from college-intern to summer-intern and now an actual Analyst position as well. I think I will start with a few small things... maybe a Vader 4" scale by my monitor... and see what kind of reaction it all gets. In my current cubicle here, I have a lot of sports stuff... but that is much more generally accepted everywhere than Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Toys. Despite my position getting better, I feel like the area of the building I am moving to is actually MORE casual than where I am now... I'll post back here in a couple weeks to see if I get any flack....

Britney looked the best I've seen her in years...
  8. Why did I meet the Rumble in season mode and not get the Rumble trophy?
  9. I'm not saying it has to be more positive, people here are free to act however they want. I'm simply stating why I *personally* left for awhile. I was at a point where I was bickering with enough people and things in my life, that my toy reading didn't need to be there too.
  10. Mine at the moment are: X-men Amazing Spider-Man Captain America Exiles Ghost Rider Daredevil Iron Man
  11. Imus will be back in some form or another. Controversial or not, I bet he will get better ratings than ever.
  12. I have to say the non-stop whining is what turned me off to this board for a little while. I was hoping there would be a little more optimism by now...
  13. Heyy It's been awhile..

  14. Just got the bill, $972, not to mention the 280 in towing... It's a '96 grand am... getting old, but ive wasted so much money in the last 4 or so years toying around with upgrades I never quite wanna part with it. Something about your first car, ya know? Also, my '93 Supra's tranny is toast... but that has been the case for awhile. Thanks for all the kind words guys... I'm just happy I didn't get hurt, and more importantly didn't hurt anyone else. Prom ended up OK... I put on a happy face for her sake. The one upside, is a new CAT makes my glasspack sound a helluva lot louder. The other one must have been gradually dying for some time.
  15. Well, my poor Grand Am caught on fire. The cat blew when I was going about 85 on the highway and I of course noticed I had lost most of my power. Before I could pull over, I had to take the time to move 3 lanes over to the right, as I was in the passing lane. Traffic was heavy being a friday evening, so this took awhile. Then, I made the foolish decision to try and keep driving til I got to the rest stop not too far ahead. All of a sudden, people around me start flaling (sp?) their arms and honking and I noticed a burning smell. My mats in the back literally were "melting" to the floor. Panicing, I pulled over, shut the car off, and got out. A couple nice people pulled over after me. Now, I only saw my glass pack (muffler) still enflamed a little. According to the people who pulled over, not only were the "usual" fireballs that come out when a cat goes, but the whole underneath up to the start of the drunk was ablaze momentarily. I guess my question is what stopped the fire? It seemed to pitter out on its own. Also, when the State cops got there it was funny to see how they were too scared to get anywhere near my car, in case sparks hit the gas or something. Did I mention I was on my way to prom? Lousy timing...
  16. Regardless if any of this is true or not, some people can't see beyond antiquated ideals of patriotism. If you disagree, you're anti-American yadda yadda. That is why I don't even express my views in threads like this, it is pointless.
  17. CC, what kind of Camaro did you have before?
  18. Really nice ride CC. Congrats man. On a seperate note, I wish they would have called it something else. I don't like when car companies use old names on cars that look nothing like their original.
  19. You said you are getting a Bachelor's degree, no? It seems to me you've had plenty of time to get all these classes in, I read in another post you've been going since 2001 and next year you are getting a bachelors. Now, I started courses in Fall 2003 and I am ready to get my bachelor's next year. I assume you are doing what some of my friends are, taking just enough courses to be considered full-time without planning enough ahead to figure the credits are gonna tally to what you need to graduate. Honestly, if you are so sick of college, you need to tell yourself it is the norm to only take 4 or sometimes 5 years for a bachelors. I do hear what you are saying though, my remaining 300 level business courses are going to conflict with my science requirements that my ADVISOR had me put off until my last year (next year) Like others here have told you, go talk to your Professors. I am going to be doing an "independent study" in place of a course which will earn you a regular grade and credits.
  20. Thats what I was talking about to, they just took the money out of my bank account. That is why they require you having one, I'd assume.
  21. I've been burned by this several times, I now require all my auctions to have delivery confirmation. It stinks because then people won't pay as much for the good, they figure that cost in. If you just ignore the case, they will refund him from your account, without even a notice.
  22. I've explained this before (because everyone thought I was a wannabe gangster at first)... but here goes. My name is Nate, and my friends from work appointed me with the name Nate Dawg when I was like 14. The name just stuck, despite how much I initially hated it. Now, it's even on the windshield of one of my cars. AIC are the initials of my school, American International College.
  23. There are times I wish this site were uncensored so I could tell you guys about my latest, truly shocking myspace "adventure." VH... please don't take what I said personally. I've been working with a lot of underpriviledged kids as part of my college "work-study" and I am just a little down on things of this nature right now. Some of the stories they tell me about their parents... or lack thereof are truly heartbreaking...
  24. I'm really sorry, Hamsterboy. I'm very saddened by the unfortunate series of events happening to everyone here lately...
