  1. It's called "Riders in the Sky." My dad had it on a record and it was one of the first CD's he bought. I can't remember for the life of me who originally sang it but it has been redone a time or too since. From what I remember my dad telling me, it was about a cursed cowboy or a group of cursed cowboys were punished by having to chase the devil's herd across the sky without end for all enternity and the evidence we see of it now is the moving of clouds. These cowboys knew no rest and their horses needed no water, and they were tormeted by chasing a herd that will never be caught. That's what I remember to the best of my knowledge, and I felt it was an appropriate song for the movie.

  2. I just saw the movie and I loved it. Instead of blindly bitching about a movie, why don't you actually see it and *gasp* then make an opinion. I'm surprised any comic movies ever get made with all the moaning and bitching about every little detail. Go to the movies have fun and quit nit-picking every goddamn thing. It seems like most people want to hate everything before they even give something a chance. People clamor for more comic movies but damn them as soon as they hear one is being made. "That guy's in it? It'll be a sh!t movie!" " I can't beleive they changed the belt buckle on the costume! Those money grubbing bastards!" It's a movie about a comic book. Just go watch the movie and enjoy a few hours forgetting about your life. Have fun and quit bitching about every single little thing. I apologize to some for my harsh tone but it seems that we as fans just simply complain waaay tooooo much and are turning against the movies that people have wanted to be made for as long as the book has been written.

  3. I only have Caretaker thus far, and I really like him. I'm iffy on most of the GR face sculpts, but I really want to get the one with the Cage head, he looks really good. Must expand my movie display (heh, i must be one of the only ones who actually wants a movie display).

I've almost completely switched to movie figures. Idk, there's just something about them. Mayb I just want to see crossover movies, and my shelf is the closet thing to that.

  4. I know I'm in the minority here, but if the LOS figures were in similar scale to the articulated Teen Titans figures, I wouldn't object. Both cartoons were aimed at a younger audience anyway, when you compare it to JLU.

I agree with you man. The only way I would actually buy any of them is if they could fit with the Titans. Otherwise it would be hard to have a crossover on the shelf.

  5. If it's the figure I'm thinking of, then that's the one based on Alex Ross' artwork. I really love this figure. I dont' have him in front of me but if I recall correctly, he doesn't have articulated wrists that bend, but there is a cut joint where the glove meets Spiderman's jumpsuit. The fingers are not articulated either, and I don't beleive his elbows bend. So in short, the only joint in his arms besides his shoulders are the cut wrist joints at the base of the gloves. Speaking of shoulders, they are improperly painted requiring a very drastic arm pose for the web pattern on the ball joint to meet up with his torso and his sleeves.

Don't let that discourage you, this Spiderman is one of my favorite figures because the the paint wash make the figure look very realistic. I love Ross' artwork and I have him displayed with my Alex Ross Justice series (even though he's in a different scale). Anyways, I recommend this guy very much. I hope this helped!

  6. The Justice series is the only one I've been buying from DCD. I can't wait to see the Green Arrow in person! I have just about all the past DCD GA's and Ross is one of my favorite artists. I want to buy all 3 of the heroes, but I will definately be buying Ollie. It will be nice to have him, Hal and Dinah all on the shelf. Hard traveling heroes!
