  1. I am really stoked for Encore Prime. I have wanted an unopened G1 Prime for a long time. I;m not a MOC kind of guy, I really wanted the joy of opening one for the first time! I saw some at Botcon and Ebay, but I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. I am really excited about getting one now! Reissue or not, he's G1 Prime to me!

  2. I know there's already a box container trailer for Optimus, but I was interested in doing a tanker trailer for him. I was just wondering what scale to use. I got over from TFans that 20th Prime is roughly 1:27 even though it is marked as 1:24 and a 1:28 tanker would probably suffice. A 1:43 scaled tanker would be fine for both a classics Prime and a g1 Prime.

I just always liked the tanker look on semis better than the regular box container trailers. I wanted to do this originally for my Pepsi Prime I got since I didn't like the trailer he came with. I then thought it might be neat to try my hand at customizing Pepsi Prime in other scales and in other styles. And I was just asking a question, I don't care if anyone else thinks this is "lame."

    Thanks for the tip Heroicnonsense!

  3. Hey guys,

I'm new to customizing but I have picked up a few tips from some of you great customizers along the way. I have a few projects that I would like to start, but I need some input. I have the Pepsi Prime figure and I absolutely love it. However I'm not a fan of that goofy trailer he came with. My idea is to get a tanker truck with like a plain silver tank and use the extra "Pepsi" stickers he came with.

This brought me to my next few ideas. I'm thinking about making a Pepsi version of Classics Prime and eventually one out of the DVD 20th Prime, and using a tanker for each instead of a regular square box trailer.

My question is what scale of tanker should I use for each project? I know the 20th Prime is 1:24 scale but I have no idea what scale Classics Prime or G1 Prime are.

Has anyone attempted anything like this before? All help and advice is appreciated!

  4. Come on, don't bash people for what they choose to spend. My girlfriend thinks that I'm crazy for spending what I do on my collections, so it's all a matter of perspective. It's her choice to spend however much she wants on anything she wants. Other people might not understand or agree with that, but it ultimately is her decision. Congrats on the find.

  5. I thought Meg's voice in the movie sounded totally bad-ass. However if I didn't know it was Hugo Weaving, I wouldn't have guessed it. With most of the voices there was so much synthesized robot-ness to them I really couldn't put voice actors to characters, save for Peter Cullen's Optimus Prime. They sounded awesome regardless!

  6. For the month of June, I got the following Transformers:

    Voyager Robo-Vision Optimus Prime

    Voyager Ironhide

    Deluxe Jazz

Botcon Exclusive Huffer and Springer two-pack

Botcon Exclusive Alpha Trion and Weirdwolf two-pack

    Pepsi Optimus Prime (US Version)

    I think that's it

  7. Does it come with a gun!?!?!?! ANSWER ME! ;)

I'm sort of pissed they didn't just keep it the mountain dew exclusive. Botcon had enough exclusive #$@# anyway.

Yep, he comes with his black ion blaster. It is packaged right above his hands in the box, underneath the cardboard, so you have to tilt to see it.

  8. I got one at the HTS booth at Botcon for $24.99. I really like it alot, I haven't opened him yet, which is rare for me. I'm almost thinking about getting a second one to keep in the package, idk.

    HOG!!!

Ouch. I've never bought duplicates of a TF before. I just really like this one looks in the box and at the same time want to open it. Just because Hasbro "pissed in your cheerios" as you put it doesn't mean it's nice to call names.

  9. I went to the con and managed to get one, but they were out of stock! However they left a bunch of cases in Texas on accident and were taking people address with their money. It should come in the mail in about 2 weeks. Kinda disappointing that I waited in line for so long only for a mail away, but I am happy that I did. It wasn't cheap either but this was my 1st Botcon ever so I decided to go for the gold.

  10. Yep, it's a Unicron.com item and really nice quality. When I left today there seemed to be a bunch left, so I would imagine they would sell all the extras on their website. It would seem silly to dispose of them since it was a limited run. They would want to get the most out of every set since I'm sure that creating the molds and stuff would be expensive for such a small run.
