  1. Nice to see another movie figure fan! I always feel outnumbered! I guess the reason I like the movie versions so much is that they are so compatible. I do like comic toys, but there are so many versions that are artist specific that don't seem to fit in with other comic figures. I agree a movie Storm, and a X-uniformed Jean would be bad ass. The X-Team needs some articulated ladies!
  2. I'm a movie version collector, so I would love to see new movie versions of Daredevil, Jean Grey, and Storm, since none of these has Legends-quality articulation. I would love to see a new Mystique, a not on fire Torch, and new head sculpt for the Invisible woman. Overall if I had to choose only 1 figure to be redone is Movie Daredevil. He really is a great toy and even looks like Ben Affleck, but the lack of articulation kills it when displayed with the other Marvel Movie figures.
  3. Do all of the Hulks have action features? Also, are all of them a different shade of green?
  4. I'm a Cobra Commander fan, so I'll pick up non-crimson one. With that paint job he looks spot on to the Sunbow cartoon, even down to the belt buckle! I really like this one.
  5. MD that was Badass and funny. Can't wait to see the whole film.
  6. The only thing keeping me from pre-ordering this guy is the $90 pricetag. The figure looks absolutely stunning, and personally I can't see any flaws. My jaw was on the floor when I saw its full solicitation.
  7. I think this line has potential, but it is discouraging that they have only 6-10 points of articulation when Hasbro has clearly shown us that there can be 20, 25, or 30 joints on a small figure. So I'll wait to see if these actually look good in person. I am curious o see if they turn out like Superhero Showdown Figures, or Toybiz's 90's Marvel Heroes. On a side note, I really really hate the Green Arrow's costume. I don't know what they were trying to do with it, but it looks like his One Year Later Suit with touches of his Smallville costume. I mean he's got more pockets than a Liefield drawing, and he has a hip holster for crying out loud. He is my favorite DC Hero and his figure looks really sub-par. I hope eventually they make one in his more famous costume. Maybe then I might buy one.
  8. Congratulations! That was the first step to a more fulfilling toy collection
  9. I have a rubbermaid bin in the basement. Each figure is in a ziploc bag with their respective accessories. Sometimes though I'll put 2 in 1 bag to save some space with the smaller toys. I like having them in bags because the bag acts as a buffer between the figures and minimizes paint rub. I haven't noticed any problems yet, but I haven't checked in a while either. Another option is to wrap bubblewrap around them instead of a ziploc, I used that method for my Transformers: Alternators. Hope it helps!
  10. I wonder if GL will come with the interchangable "Hal" head like the original DCD release
  11. While that is good news in that there are more characters and more DC products out there, it is kind of disappointing that they are not in the 6 inch scale. Hopefully some characters, such as the Green Arrow and the Black Canary will eventually be made into the DCU series.
  12. I think he still can. He does have some giant sized armor. One of these suits was showcased in the New Avengers/ Transformers mini-series.
  13. I am really happy. One of the only Marvel SW comics that I own is the one w/ Dengar and Fenn which also has Leia and Tobbi Dala in it. It is really awesome to see those 2 Mandalorians as figures. I'm smilin ear to ear!
  14. John Williams. You can't hear that song and not smile.
  15. True while Hasbro did pioneer these little guys, I don't really see why it would be a big problem for DC to put some out. Afterall they now have those "battle packs" or whatever they're called which are very Attactix like. If they can do that, why not some DC type SHS?
  16. I am getting the Capt. America set without a doubt. I have been waiting for the WWII version for a long time and it looks very well done.
  17. Depending on the scale and if one is articulate without and action feature, I may get one for my "Marvel Films" shelf. Otherwise, I think I'll be hunting down one of the large rotocast ones from the last film, who would tower over everyone else, in effect in scale with the rest of the figures.
  18. Iron Man looks good enough to be a stand alone piece. Which is nice, cause I don't think I have the money and the space for all of the great stuff coming out this year.
  19. I really like the fact that the Iron Man figures look like they are compatible with both movie and comic styled toys. I am definitely getting the Mark III version and maybe a few others.
  20. I really like the Spiderman w/ the interchangable Peter Parker head. I think he's the only one I'll pick up though. I do like the animated style and I think Spidey would look awesome neat to the animated version of Optimus Prime, but with so many cool things coming out I think I have to limit myself to that one figure.
  21. Now I do love movie figures, but I agree, enough is enough. I would love to see new molds done in that style, but not the same molds again and again. However I do think the half symbiote/ half red Spiderman is a neat concept and done well in that figure.
  22. I've had my goatee for about 8 months or so. I trim it every so often and keep the other parts of my face shaven. I really like it. I think beards are on the comeback.
  23. I'm a fan of movie figures, so it will be neat to see the character designs for those villains that haven't been in any of the films.
