  1. I really love all of these lines. I don't have many DCD, but I think I'll have to go with the FA because I really love how dead on the sculpts are, and I love having figures on the shelf where you cam see the different looks over the years.

  2. I just got Zipline Batman, Hydrosuit Batman, and the Mr. Freeze/ Artic Batman last week, and I got the Armor Batman/ Joker and the Batman/ Robin 2 packs today. Hopefully my friend Storm325 will get me that Batman/ Superman 2 pack I've been eying. Anyway, these a great figures and that was a great review.

  3. Hey guys, I came across a Hero Generator online and I was playing around, so I decided to make a few of my favorite heroes. I took the basic bodies and then grouped them together in MS paint. I like the HTH one so much I put it in my sig! I also am writing a backstory for the one guy, I call him just "the Lantern," but more on him later. Let me know what you think!

I took a few liberties with the costumes, but I think they turned out well. Here's the link: Hero Generator Have fun, and let me know what you think!

  4. No accessories? Then why would Amazon.com say this:

    From Toysrus.com & Amazon.com

    From the Manufacturer

A three Pack of Justice League Unilimited Action Figures - Collect the whole new team of Justice League heroes and the villains they battle. Each figure is equipped with a unique accessory. All figures include six points of articulation including knees, elbows, etc.

It says each figure has a unique accessory. Maybe the "accseeories" that are left out are the nonsensical armor pieces.

  5. You know, I don't care for Mattel after they killed He-Man, but I do have to give them credit. Even though they suck at packing cases and are notoriuos for repaints, the figures are pretty damn cool. I don't really care for the repaints, but Zipline Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Freeze, Joker and even Superman are the best renditions I've seen other than DCD. Their business policies suck, but I am happy for the figures released. I just hope they make a Batgirl, and learn from their MOTU mistakes.

  6. Whoa- waitaminute. Do you mean a model for a paper or an actual physical model, like a poster? My last post was for the former, but as for the latter, I would just keep it simple. I would have one those pieces of posterboard that is folded so it's in 3 peices so it's self standing. I would have a few pictures and a few pieces of paper that outline your project. Another couple of cents. Hope it helps, and good luck on your project.

  7. I would go on the angle how Batman was created by tragedy and Bruce took that and became oriented on a positive goal. He did this so no one would have to feel the pain that he did. He also had the power finacially to do so, but it was his heart and his pain that motivated him to do something postive for mankind. Just my 2 cents.

  8. I really like them both. I like the sculpt on the DCD version, but I voted for the Mattel because he just seems more playable and more like a toy than a statue. I also like the softgoods cape. I think I'll buy both though.

  9. That is a great idea! I really like the animated figures, but sometimes I find it hard to shell out 6-8 bucks for one little guy with a whole bunch of armor i won't ever use. The 2 packs are a great idea and I am looking forward to the JLU 3 packs, but this no accessories deal has me a little worried. Why would the ship a Green Arrow without his bow and arrows?!
