  1. They could be Halo (High Altitude/ Low Opening) jumpers. If that where the case they'd need the air hoses and such.
  2. How many times does Hasbro have to release a figure before they get it right? Well if Duke is any indication it takes them 6 times. Course I guess you could make the case that it's TF Duke and we'd need him in his V1 colors to count....which would be 7. Doesn't give me much hope for a chance of a fixed Rock N' Roll, Breaker, Steeler, Clutch, Grunt Or Short Fuze in the future. Course if The Major Bludd in the 7 pack has a poseable robot arm and they don't change his colors I might have to eat those words since will have only taken them 2 tries. The rest of the stuff looks pretty sweet. I really like the Evviro sets, and the Jets. Don't know why they are bothering with ARAH guys in 12inch format when we have the Sideshow stuff, but whatever. So we going to see anything more tomm. or is this about all she wrote onnew stuff?
  3. I don't think the choices listed where the figures he thought should be made, but just examples of figures from that time period that havn't been made. You shouldn't have let the figures listed decide which era you picked.
  4. I have no trouble finding.... Cobra Commanders. Pretty much everything else is a pain in the butt to track down.
  5. 10, 12, 26, and 31 are all from Exo-Squad. 10 is the shoulder light from the Field Repair E-Frame. http://www.virtualtoychest.com/exosquad/ex...maggie_crop.jpg 12 is the gun that came with Rapid Assault E-Frame like Magic 8-Ball said. http://www.virtualtoychest.com/exosquad/ex...sala_1_crop.jpg 26 Can't really see it for the number but I think it might be the gun from the Interrogator E-Frame, if it's not i know it's Exo-Squad gun, just not who it goes with. http://www.virtualtoychest.com/exosquad/exo_ser3_2_crop.jpg 31 Is a leg thruster from the Aerial Attack E-Frame http://www.virtualtoychest.com/exosquad/exo_ser1_1_crop.jpg
  6. Yeah same here...Head looks a little big too, but I know you had to work with what was out there. But still its about 100 times better then the crap Hasbro gave us.
  7. Well there are possibly some great war stories to tell but would an audience accept a new Indy ' I think they would be more accepting of it then a Mutt centric film. There will always be harliners that won't accept anyone other then Ford as Indy. Just like there are people that won't accept anyone other Connery as Bond, or Shatner as Kirk. That's just how it is, but they are usually a very vocal minoirty. And while the public at large might be skeptical at first they tend to be more accepting in the long run. But really I don't think there is going to be an Indy 5....at least not with Spielberg and Ford onboard. So it's either new Indy or just be happy with what we got. Frankly...I was happy with the 3 we had and didn't really need KOTCS.
  8. I'd much rather see a live action TV Series that is set between the end of TLC and the Begining of KOTC with a new Actor playing Indy.
  9. No. But I do think the back screw should come back. It would give everyone a default backapack hole and make taking the chest apart easier.....and you wouldn't have to superglue the thing back together after you did get it apart.
  10. What coupon? I bought Irina tonight specifically for the Crystal Skull and a german soldier specifically for the shankara stone anyone seen Sallah yet?? I've seen Sallah since day one....same with Marion. Never seen Irina, The Cemtery guy, or the Warrior. Just a bunch of Ind's, Mutts, and Russians.
  11. I think they had Energon snap on feet and hands and such.
  12. I'd by me some Conquest if it comes with a 25th Slipstream.
  13. It was poor planning on their part. They didn't wait to see how the Classics line did, and they didn't wait to see how they movie did before greenlighting these. Usually they wait a year or more before they let botcon use a mold in case they want to repaint it or use again, but not this time. They let these go ahead before Classics was even on the shelf. They should have waited and had Classics done mediocre like they expected, and it was clear they were not going back to it then they should have allowed those to be made...say like this Botcon, or Next Years 25th Anvi. Botcon. Instead they were so sure they knew what was going to happen that they didn't even give the mold the common curtsies that far lesser molds have got in the past. In the end all they got was a bunch of angry fans. Fans angry at them for allowing it. Fans angry at those fans for being so mad at them, and then those fans being mad at those fans for seeming to be uncaring about their fellow collector. It did nothing to unite, only divide, and I hope they learned from this and don't let it happen again. Like letting Smokescreen, or Red Alert, or Ratchet be part of 2009 boxset. Although I think the current Hasbro team's apathy towards this will allow it to happen again. If you had told me 5 years ago that I felt that Mattel was going to take better care of me as MOTU fan, then Hasbro would as a Transfromer fan then I would have laughed in your face. But that's exactly how I feel after last years Botcon and this years NYCC. And Acid Storm is kinda salt in the wound. If they won't give us a Thundercracker, Dirge, or Thrust. (and I say Won't not Can't becauee they can give us those figures. Either as new decos different from the Botcon figure, or as a New seeker mold, but they won't do that.) then I kinda feel they should just retire the mold. Because everytime bitter fans see another nobody Seeker at retail it's just going to make them more upset about the Botcon figure. Now all that being said...I do not blame the MC...or FP....whatever they are calling themselves, for doing those figures. They knew they would be big sellers and they were. I also don't blame Hasbro as whole. Cause as a Joe Collector also I've never seen anything like that happen with Joes even though they are handled by the same company. I put this blame solely on the Transfromer teams shoulders.
  14. But you did get The Sorceress' weapon. You may be able to trade that for one of the other's weapons since they are are all equally as rare. I have a pretty large MOTU collect, but I've never seen let alone owned the three figures you got in one box. I'm very jealous.
  15. That King Randor and Scare Glow arn't too bad either. I always hear about these amazing flea market finds, but in the nearly 12 years I've been hitting Flea Markets and another 5 of hitting trashy swap meets, I've never....NEVER had one these finds. The best I did was I bought a find of Transfromers, off someone that bought them from the flea market not knowing anything about them other then they were TFs. I paid him 20 for them, and he made at least 15 off me. Course when I sold off the Scorpnok Parts (since there was no Scorpnok for them to go with) on ebay I made back my 20 and then some.
  16. No Don't know I'd have to see it. Doesn't matter cause it won't happen even with the movie Yes, but I would't have bought it on a 25th card either. See Above.
  17. no offense, but thats insane, Indy is Ford and thats that, the revolving door works for bond but theres nobody else who could be Dr. Jones, he gets my vote too by the way. writing and direction is obviously crucial but the Actor is the one on screen the whole time and if he doesn't pull you in then no direction is going to make you watch And no offense to you, but that's the same old short sighted "It works for bond, but not Indy." statement that I've heard time and time again. But you know there were people back in the day that had the same attitude towards Bond. No one other then Connery could be Bond. It was an attitude that was so common that they even brought Connery back for "Diamonds are Forever." and "Never Say Never Again." proving that Connery wasn't the key to a good Bond flick since both where pretty awful. If people had taken this attitude with Bond there wouldn't have been any more of those films either and there were some damn good Bond films since then. You can't really say it won't work, since it hasn't been done. If they made one without Spielberg or Ford and and it sucked to high heaven then you could make such statements, but I think poeple should get over their attachments and give it a chance before declareing it the end of the world.
  18. I know it's early, but this statement is a prime favorite for "Most idiotic thing I've read all year."
  19. I wish they'd give the Duke arms a rest.
