  1. Happy Birthday 🎂

  2. Awwwww Dammit!! They still didn't get it right. The face is not even close as the toy shows. Is it that dadgum hard to match a two and a half inch sword in real proportions? @hmmm@
  3. I still think the best actor available to play He-man would be Matthew McConnahay (sp?). He bulked up easily for the role in Reign of Fire and could be a rougher character. His dad was a football player, so he has the genes. The others have been guessed to death so I will leave it at that. #US1#
  4. I lurk often as I don't have much computer time, but I am here for the duration @hmmm@ I have collected MOTU since it first came out in late 1980. I still have the original line. @firedevil@
  5. My fav's had to be Clawful, Triclops, and Thunder Punch He-man. I loved the idea of the energy punch thrown from a distance. I would set him up as sending shockwaves through whole structures and collapsing them. I went through caps like crazy as well! My next three would be Ram Man, Fisto, and Rio Blast. @firedevil@
  6. COOL! SOTA has announced a new line of toys based on feature flicks. The first set includes Darkman, Toxic Avenger, and a demon from American Werewolf in London. The second line will be Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Mummy Returns, and....dum,dum,DUM....Jeepers Creepers 2. @firedevil@
  7. Just out of curiosity, have you guys pitched Mattel about maybe churning out just one figure per quarter to the exclusive 4H club membership? Maybe we could get the new sculpts on a request order basis or some such. I would pay the extra to get the figures on limited production just to get them PERIOD! @redalert@ @redalert@
  8. On the .org forums, Santalucia let it slip. '...wait until you see the exclusive bust!' I think that it will be good news for those who collect the busts, but I don't. I wish the guys had more control over the figures to make. NECA is why they have been able to kick out cool statues without the red tape. Sorry Emiliano, the busts don't help us toy fans. Can I go kick Mattel yet?? @pow@ #hang@ @hammerhead#
  9. I am sick of the bad dubbing and poor sound quality of the US DVD's! sheesh! Can anyone here tell me if there are any fansubs or sub releases of the Zoid series'? I have seen some in original japanese and the sound quality is outstanding. It really gives the fx some volume. If I could, I would contact someone in Viz who is releasing the show and see if they will do a run just subtitled as a Sp Ed. @cussing@
  10. Nice work there! I myself am going to wait and see if 4H get permission to go collector club style and maybe release them one at a time if nothing else. @hmmm@
  11. Okay, I am going to date myself a bit here. I got the original first series of MOTU for my tenth Christmas and started the line on the barbarian storyline with the first four comics. When the cartoon came out a few years after, I was confused by the new story and thought at age ten that they had ruined the original idea. So.....even as much as the 'prince' storyline became popular, I have a softspot for the initial concept and think that it had more potential than it was given. chalk me up for the barbarian one!! @PContest@
  12. Okay, okay...this is going to date me but; my favorite minis were the first ones I got with the original eight figures. The first one that showed He-man leaving his tribe to fight evil is one and the other was 'King of Castle Greyskull'. I just happen to like that canon of storyline better and it gave He-man power and strength in his own right- not just the magic power. Don't get me wrong, they have done wonders with the new storyline. I just like the first better
  13. I actually thought it was very well done for a 30 min. segment. It seems to me that the more power they throw at He-man and his allies, the more ruthless and quick they become trying to accomplish the objective. King Hiss and the snakes were on top and the Masters were fighting in sheer desparation- making them edgier and more willing to do some damage. He-man himself had to get knocked around before feeling the heat to push the envelope and ,ultimately, give it all. The animation was done to show his 'going for broke' fight against Serpos as a last ditch effort and was done to that effect.
  14. HEY. no offense man, but I like GW! Keep your political slant crap outta here. This is a toyline forum. I think that Val and the guys will do Hordak justice and I know that they are big enough fans to do right by their natures.
  15. yeah,yeah...color me jealous dude!! @smilepunch@ I havent even seen the snakes here yet, but then I am smack in the middle of the US. Things always go to the outskirts first @hmmm@ Well, congrats to a deserving fan! #US1#
