  1. GI Joe means fond memories of Sears Wishbooks with full spreads of amazing battle scenes including the newest characters and vehicles that pitted Joe vs. Cobra in the fight to defend the world from tyranny! Oh what great dreams were born from those images as I allowed my imagination to roam free as a child of the 80's.
  2. I am able to play Battlefront 1 & 2 on my Xbox 360. I think you just have to download some type of firmware update to be able to play select Xbox games on your 360. Both of the Battlefront games are on that list.
  3. Thanks for offering this giveaway JayC! It was so awesome to get the news that I had won.
  4. I've been looking forward to this game for years.
  5. TMNT: With NECA failing to deliver any figures past the 4 Ninja Turtles, would Mattel be interested in acquiring the license for comic-based TMNT figures once it is available? This would seem like a great fit as a Matty Collector exclusive line considering how popular the Four Horsemen sculpted NECA figures were with fans and the depth of the TMNT comic universe.
  6. In past Q&As, Matty has stated that until Swamp Thing makes a return to the DC Universe, he won't be getting a spot in the DC Universe Classics lineup. Swampy recently appeared in Action Comics #884 (which as you know, is as 'DC' a title as there is). Does this mean he is now 'on the table' again?
  7. I'm pretty sure that Cyclotron is a single figure with 2 pictures showing his removable feature. Cheetah and Negative Man are the variants. I'm glad to see the Reign of Superman Superboy figure in this lineup. That's the one I really wanted. I wonder how big the C&C Trigon will be since I'm not familiar with his character.
  8. I have some issues with DCUC as well, but I don't recall Mattel ever stating this. Do you have a reference for it?
  9. I'm surprised that people thought they would get a Gleek in the Wonder Twins package since Mattel posted the information before Comic-Con about him being in a separate baggie. I'm also pretty sure Mattel had a sign for their exclusives at the booth that said which items were sold out and Gleek was listed. If you missed both those warnings, I don't think you can blame Mattel.
  10. GI Joe represents what was so great about being a kid in the 80's: Cartoons every day of the week after school, toy commercials, Christmas wish books, awesome playsets, and great toy stores. It was the golden age of action figures and we happily reminisce.
  11. That's no rumor. It has been confirmed by Mattel as a KB Toys exclusive along with Sonic Arm Cyborg.
  12. Actually, online retailers got their shipments of wave 1 before they started showing up at Target. But if you didn't preorder until late, you probably didn't get in on their first shipment. Wave 2 has had shipping delays coming from China. Target has their own delivery system from China, so they can take possession of Mattel's product overseas and then distribute it quicker when there are these shipping delays. From what I have heard, online retailers could have their wave 2 cases ready to ship by the end of this week. I would expect a lot of preorders to be filled in the next week. I'm looking forward to getting my case because I haven't been able to find anything sans Superman Red at Targets around here.
  13. It's easy; supply and demand. Snake Eyes was a peg warmer early on, but he's the most popular Joe. Many people got into this line after wave 1 and it hasn't been available for months. There are a lot of collectors right now and nowhere to pickup some of the earlier figures except eBay. Even when my Walmart restocks with multiple cases, these 25th Joes are flying off the shelves.
  14. I came across two cases of wave 6 at Walmart today. They had 1x each of wave 6, all black Snake Eyes, Crimson Guard, Serpentor, Beach Head, and Air Trooper.
  15. The Wonder Woman and Cyborg 2-ups are from the DC Classics line. The rest of the new figures shown are for the new DC Infinity 3.75" line.
  16. Is that your estimate of what prices will be, or do you know for sure? Just wondering why there is a $6 price range listed. I'm really hoping these are as close to $10 as possible.
  17. I went to a Target store that just opened for business today. I got there just after 8 this morning and the place was pretty dead. I walked out a few minutes later with Beachead, Serpentor, a Cobra Officer, and two Cobra Troopers. This was my first significant find of single Joes anywhere in this town.
  18. You won't find a 12" Mr. Freeze figure. The back of the 12" Batman box was advertising the 6" figures from series 3. Hope that clears things up.
  19. And I am glad Mattel has the license, because I don't like the ML articulation at all
  20. My first order supposedly shipped out over a week ago and I still haven't received a single box of the $120 of stuff I ordered. Hopefully some of it came today. It usually only takes 2-3 days for stuff from HTS to get to me.
  21. I picked up Lex and Braniac last week and I was able to track down Darkseid today at Walmart in Columbus. In my opinion, this line has been getting better with each wave. Definitely not for the packaging or case ratios, but for the figures themselves. If you count the 2 all-new figures in the Target 2-packs, Mattel has released 16 DCSH in the first year. Not bad, but I hope we get the next wave early in 2007.
  22. I don't know if you guys consider Superman Returns canon, but didn't 3-4 ordinary humans pretty much kill Superman? At least he would have been dead if it wasn't for Lois. Anyways, the argument could go either way depending on who was scripting the story.
  23. I have that comic book where Superman and He-man fight. It's been a while since I read it, so I don't remember who won or if it was a draw.
