Wow, I'm impressed with almost all of this wave.
-
Okay, just checked ePay. Now that Wave 10 is no longer the New Hotness; you can find sets for $119.99 - I may just wait Wave 14 hype out and get a set on the cheap once 15/16 hit.
-
The case packs vary. One case I purchased had two Jokers. The first case I was able to buy from had one Joker.
-
Y'know - part of me wants to complain; but considering I have not seen hide nor hair of Wave 11 or 12 at retail part of me realizes this is just S.O.P. for the line and Mattel. :|
-
I'd only complain about them still crapping out Wave 4/7 mixed cases and we're already seeing Wave 12 in stores. Please Mattel, for the love of all that is good and pure sort out the distribution. I don't know, maybe exchange old stock at retail with new stock just so these things get out there; and repackage the old crap as "TrU Exclusive" or whatever. In other news, I didn't know they officially opened their forums.
-
Well that's sort of the catch. When asked, Mattel will tell you this is a "Collector's Line". Then they put mass market peg warmers in there. Which is it? Collector's line or Mass Market line Mattel? Pick a side a stick with it. As is, the distribution of these figures is still completely bungled so seeing yet another Batman / Superman warming shelves is just spit in collector's eyes. Then when they don't move, retailers don't re-order cases or cycle inventory, so you get screwed. <= Insert Joe Pesci drive thru rant here. I have not seen hide nor hair of Wave 11 at retail yet FFS. :|

I couldn't agree more. While I understand the need for more common figures, we've been Batspammed heavily over Christmas. How about re-releasing Gentleman Ghost Mattel? Ugh. . . Well, good to see old DCUC frustrations abound in the new year. Ooh, I hope this sticks for me. Still no word from BBTS on my pre-order.
-
If you still have the receipt can't you take it back and ask to have the difference refunded? It's worth a shot. I've had to do that in the past and all it takes is a few minutes of your time.
-
Yeah, I'm a complete sucker for glow in the dark figures; but a lot of the shots of the figure are unflattering. It's hard to tell if it's the paintjob on the regular version, because it looks like some photoshop retouching to me in some of the Mattel photos.
-
Thanks. Hopefully I'll see these here in Northeast Ohio, but I've gotten used to not with DCUC. Also, any chance you could post side by side pics of the two Spectres when you get a chance? Some of the Glamor Shots of the two online make it hard to determine which looks better in the real world.
-
Some places will price match if you take them a receipt for an item you purchased elsewhere at that price. In most cases this defeats the purpose of a price match, but in the case of a plastic addiction it can be real handy.

What city are you in?

Don't feel bad, a few waves have been like this for me. However I'm going to start selling off Loosies with Wave 12. Really don't like Marvel Marvel and some others. Although I may be surprised. I was expecting to hate Shark, and he's a great dumb fun figure. Humanoid shark that decides to dress up like a ninny.
-
If you could find a green Steppenwolf or Robotman I'd gladly trade the extra Joker I have.
-
Nuts, I fell asleep and left Katma Tui in the freezer. Will have to get her out when I go home.
-
Wait, BC is just a repaint? That's laaaaaaame. It thought her arm articulation may have been different. I have too many of these figures. Although I've given up on the line in the new year and am focusing all my money on DCUC.
-
Went to Target to get a small heater on clearance, walked out with a variant Big Barda. Still $7.99 here. I really don't care for the sans Helmet version, but my original Barda has a scar on her cheek from the factory, so this will pacify my anal retentive tendencies.
-
I don't mind redundant repaint retailer exclusive two packs. That's fine. Just don't make entire unique waves exclusive to retailers please. Thanks!
-
Hmm my Katma Tui has a frozen upper thigh joint. Should I boil and cool it until it works loose?
-
Holy crap dude, do you live at the end of the Rainbow? That's an admirable haul. Good show.
-
@loll@ Nice.
-
woohoo! Will have to keep an eye on eBay for a Brimstone.
-
Good show! I do adore glow in the dark figures. I was tittering like a school girl when I turned of the lights and Deadman's eye's and chest symbol glowed for me. Hopefully I can snag a glow in the dark Spectre as well.
-
Nice. You're going to need a bigger shelf soon! Still no word on my order from BBTS of this wave. If Mattycollector puts them up soon I'll try ordering from there instead.

This isn't the 90's anymore and DC isn't Image Comics. They're good about maintaining editorial consistency throughout the Green Lantern titles and Kilowogg is always on model. He's consistently large throughout all of the Green Lantern titles. In all my years of reading comics I don't recall ever seeing a human sized, or slightly above human sized Kilowogg. If you can show me evidence otherwise, outside of your opinion I'm open to being proven wrong.
