  1. Marvel 3 3/4th figure Secret Wars two packs are also $9.99 there as well. Sorry was posting from phone earlier.
  2. See the topic. Get while the gettin's good!

    I'm done!!

That stinks. Just more fuel for the "female figures don't sell" bean counters.
  4. Wow dude, you need to work on your communication skills. Topic has nothing to do with actual thread. Try "Mattycollector discount on DCUC two packs". @hmmm@
  5. Too little, too late. Good news for everybody else, but I'm out a pretty penny. No worries. I wanted Giganta that badly. It's my own fault.
  6. What are "refresh cases" and when are they coming out? See 2slowbot's posts in this thread.

Oh yeah, forgot the recent Wolverine movie figures, Star Trek line also had small figures, and that new X-Men line. Who wants to take bets Iron Man 2 toys will be 3 3/4th?
  8. I really wish Mattel were more forthcoming with information on what's being re-issued for these refresh cases. As is it's a huge gamble, and I'd hate to suggest anybody use ePay; but if you want a completed Giganta you may need to. @hmmm@
  9. Several people I know have found him rather easily. He's also fairly common online through non-ePay retailers.

    Wave 11

Has anybody that ordered from BBTS received their orders yet?

You've got to account for inflation as well: I've got a bunch of the movie related Joes, and I don't believe I spent over $7 on any of them. Picked most up when TrU ran a 2 for $10 sale. As with any consumer item, you've got to shop smarter these days. The Batman and Spiderman cartoon figures are slightly larger than 3 3/4th though. It's odd though, 6" figures just seem to be on the way out. Looking at stuff like DCIH, Marvel Universe line, and the others. 3 3/4th seems to be coming back into fashion. Inflation does blow; but since I've been focusing primarily on this line and the fact that DC Direct Figures cost significantly more and offer less articulation I still find the DCUC stuff to be acceptable. Just wish I didn't need to go to such lengths to track them down. @hmmm@

Might want to look again. The average toy - just got back from Wal-Mart (grabbed a Manbat for a friend) is priced from $7-10 (Spiderman, DCIH, Marvel line, Batman, Star Wars, etc.). G.I.Joes are now slashed down to $5 a pop.
  13. Never finding any wave, or being unable to complete a BAF you want is pretty crap. Really hope distribution and availability balances out.
  14. Most shops give you the ring free if you buy the comic they came with. Shop near me is selling the rings $1 a pop by themselves.
  15. I may pul a Mongul, only instead of a bunch of yellow rings, oodles and oodles of red rings. @firedevil@

In my experience with this line Toys R Us is by far the most useless retailer. They've gotten worse as the series has progressed too. Now I don't even bother checking there anymore. Hell, I was in Wisconsin recently and checked out the TrU there - big surprise! A big fat nothing. @grumpy@
  17. Yeah, pretty much this. Ignoring all the gnashing of teeth online - I've found more of Wave 10 than I've ever found of Wave 8. @grumpy@
  18. Congrats! My local Target hasn't restocked DCU in about three weeks.
  19. I thought I heard word that Hawkgirl was getting a re-release down the line, plus she doesn't come with a Giganta part; so she's really not crucial for the BAF. So my plan is snag a NIB GG from ePay (despite not wanting to, Wave 8 is impossible to find) and get Hawkgirl down the road in the re-release.
  20. Vigilante is shipping to Targets in what's called a J Case which seems to be a bunch of random 7/8/9 stuff. 2slowbot on TheFwoosh has posted details. I've had to get most of mine online since Mattel screwed the pooch on production of this wave. I'd suggest going to Mike's Toys or Impulse Creations to fill it in while you still can.

Steppenwolf loves Bugles! Darkseid hates his greasy finger prints.
  22. Woohoo! I've got 11 and 12 ordered through BBTS; but I'll definitely order future waves from here if the price is right.
  23. I didn't even know they made the Jordan/Sur two pack. I'd welcome the opportunity to get my hands on one.
