That would be great! Kamandi was an awesome comic series and the figure would be fairly unique. Not to mention some of his supporting cast of characters. Lots of crazy awesome going on in that series. Folks are really forgetting that despite what you think that "crappy character" is somebody's favorite character. Don't want it in the DCUC line? How about you just don't buy it? Worked for me and Killer Moth. Nothing against his fans.

Well I looked at what they were going for on ePay, set a price, and made my offer. It's my own doing and honestly I don't hold any grudges given the secondary market for these bloody things. I saw a loose GG going for $44 on ePay, loose! Hopefully Mattel will ship more for everybody else though, this series has been a huge pain in the rear to keep up with. Heck, I spent at least $90 alone on gas driving all over God's creation looking for, not finding, Wave 10. That was a pretty hairy two weeks.

I've put out offers here and on TheFwoosh and gotten zero response. I ended up negotiating a deal with a private collector. If I couldn't manage that, I was willing to go to ePay at this point. Which unfortunately is what I'm going to have to suggest as Mattel doesn't seem too concerned with looking back on this line and you're already three waves past GG hitting shelves. Frustrating and somewhat depressing; but if you just want GG loose ones are on ePay on the cheap. Carded are a bit more. All boils down to how badly you want the figure. :\

$50 plus shipping and related costs. You've got two choices. 1. Pick a price you're willing to pay if you're neck deep in the line like I am and get GG from ePay. 2. Just ePay a Giganta if that's what you want. The chuckleheads at that post office delivered my payment to the wrong damned address, and fortunately the person who received it mailed it back to me. So the cycle begins anew. Ugh. . . Keeping my fingers crossed that these weenies don't fudge it up a second time.

You act like this is new. Characters have suffered under the hands of incompetent writers in the past as well, and so long as the Big Two continue to never change; or just re-release the same old characters, but now let them say "F*ck" in the Max Line doesn't mean anything has changed. At the end of the day Marvel/DC will keep milking these characters for all they're worth. I just follow artists and writers I like at Marvel / DC. If you want characters that will be respected, go read creator owned and indie comics. There are plenty of great comics out there not being published by Marvel / DC that could use your business.

It's really best not to over think most of what goes on in comic books. If you do, things like Green Lantern putting a shield around himself instead of just trapping the foe in a big green lock box will ruin all your fun.

Give the Hulk series a read. It's a good fun comic. It's not trying to be Watchmen or Strangers in Paradise. It's a big red jerk going around wrecking stuff. Loeb is unfairly getting dogpiled lately because that's the nature of the Internet and nobody wants to be the guy that says otherwise. @hmmm@

That's cool, but the Target near me pulled their Cyborgs and Wonder Woman figures from the shelf and the DCUC price label is gone as well. Now it's naught but two rows of SBPE figures. @hmmm@

Yay! Thanks to jerkface USPS employees who stole my payment for Gentlemen Ghost from a TNI member (USPS is claiming it was delivered at 3AM); now I'm out $61 and change and still no Gentleman Ghost. Mattel - Tell us if you're going to ship more of these damned things to stores! @grumpy@
