  1. Just ordered a set from Mikes Comics 'n Stuff. With Deadman variant, why not? I had the option. Although I'm getting a red Steppenwolf. Anybody willing to trade an open red for an open green?
  2. Hopefully those boneheads are better about restocking their store than they are other retailers. Otherwise I'm gonna be pissed because I don't want to be doing the DCUC Hustle again. @grumpy@
  3. lol I cancelled my BBTS order since the case pack blows on this line. Sorry don't want Zero Bar Superman and other peg warmers from past lines. Went over to Mattycollector to order their box set. . . Sold out. @smilepunch@ @loll@ Just my luck.
  4. Well I logged in this week and noticed Pile 'O Loot option is not enabled and my lot of figures is still slated for January '10. :| Well, one more day and it's off to Matty. Which is fine by me as I got to BBTS late and had to order a case, and those tits at Mattel went and packed some peg warmers in the cases instead of duplicates of Wave 11 I could have unloaded easier.
  5. You're on the Internet, Google fewl! Only one of the best Kirby creations at DC.
  6. Hell I haven't received my Wave 11 from BBTS yet. Also I get no e-mail updates from them. I'm waiting until this Friday and then cancelling the BBTS order for Wave 11 and just getting it from matty and the B'wana Beast / Animal Man two pack as well.
  7. Be thankful he wasn't armed with a boxing glove arrow you know where.
  8. Complain when you can't find them. Complain when you buy them off ePay. Complain that you finally find them. Does it ever end? @hmmm@
  9. Nope. Only received a PSP game from a friend. Need to get Christmas down to no gifts given, none received. Then it will be perfect.
  10. Right, that's old news. However we're getting unconfirmed reports of people still finding these at retail. So are they new shipments containing GG, or the stores time forgot? It's difficult to speculate because other Wave 8 character are still shipping.
  11. That's not a bad deal considering a lot of those figures are still warming pegs at retail at $11.99-12.99 a pop. Hell, it's cheaper than what I paid for just a run to complete the BAF. @grumpy@
  12. Northeast Ohio is pretty much a wash as well. @hmmm@ This would be so much easier if Mattel would just post on their Arsebook page if they're still shipping the damned things or not. Just give us some confirmation. Wave 11 is shipping and people are still looking for stuff from Wave 8, how can they not recognize this is funked up? @grumpy@ Then again the Columbus area has a better supply chain for these in my experience.
  13. It's her signature weapon. Changing that puts you on the same level creatively as Michael Bay. Nice angle on Snake Eyes. His feet are odd though.
  14. Red Cliff - even in a severely edited and reduced running time US release it's better than most any Hollywood period action flick in the past five years. District 9 was awesome fun as well.
  15. I'm kind of saddened by the recent Shazam movie news being nixed. I'm not a huge fan of Dwayne Johnson's body of work; but man - he would have made a pretty awesome Black Adam. At least visually. Supergirl is apparently being worked on with Taylor Swift. A World's Finest - errrr sorry Superman / Batman for you kids, won't happen until Warner Brothers figure out how to make a good damned Superman movie again. Another one I wish the rumors came true with, I think the Wachowski Bros. do a fantastic job with Superman. Dammit! JLA would require build up as well. Green Lantern is being worked on presently, although I wish it were Bradley Cooper from the rumored Hal actors and not Ryan Reynolds. :\ Wonder Woman is lost thanks to cold feet with female lead flicks. . . Although I'd love to see Rena Sofer as Diana. She's got the eyes.
  16. Toys R Us continues to be useless for obtaining this line? News at 11! I'm wondering if they just slapped those stickers on the packaging in a desperate bid to clear inventory. . . @hmmm@ Let us pray they never make a TrU exclusive line of these figures. It will be worse than all of the Wal-Mart waves combined.
  17. Explain Superman Returns, Catwoman, and Steel to name a few? @smilepunch@ You don't go from crapping out a Batman movie every two to three years, to nothing because you're waiting for Mr. Right. Fans and movie critics had concerns about Batman Begins when it was announced, but hindsight is 20/20 and the average attention span is shorter than a cats.
  18. Awesome. Still nothing from BBTS. Which on one hand makes me a sad puppy, and on the other hand gives me time to reduce the swelling on my credit card. I too look forward to not wasting so much damned time collecting these, and I hope the bean counters at Mattel are paying attention.
  19. That's got way less to do with DC taking their time; and more to do with Joel Schumacher piledriving the Batman franchise face first into the pavement so badly that nobody wanted to touch it afterward. Kind of like licking a candybar so nobody else will eat it.
  20. I'm a Hawkman fan, but really don't know how well this would go over. Then again Blade did well for Marvel. Not that there's an obvious similarity between these two comic character; other than they're relative unknowns to the world at large. I think DC should focus on un-fudging Superman and giving that series a proper reboot. Love Christopher Reeve as Superman; but no more Bryan Singer love letters to what's come before. Worse, no more director's trying to tie their work to the Donner films. @grumpy@
  21. I'm wondering if someone returned some DCUC to Target from Walmart? Target has one generic SKU for the line, so in theory you should be able to return any figure there. I'm thinking of trying this with Wave 10 Batman I don't want from the case I picked up and I lost the darned receipt. Also found a Green Parademon yesterday. First time I've seen one in person. Cripes.
  22. Frick! I was going to order this along with the B'wana Beast / Animal Man pack. @cry@
