I doubt they will actually be called Neo-Vipers. Rather the Cobra Troopers/Vipers are going to have an exclusive movie look that apparently is similar in design to that of the Neo-Vipers. I mean what sense would it make to call them "Neo-Vipers" if Cobra is just starting out?

Actually I think the older Crimson Guard stuff were just red despite their name while with the new Crimson Guard someone actually choose a color labeled "crimson" to make them.

I've never really understood why people want Hasbro to release another Terror Drome or Flagg. When it comes down to do it for the same amount of money it would probably cost you could get a near complete vintage one on ebay. $500 is $500.

I don't really understand how that MASS Device thing works. What are the 5 packs you have to buy to get the pieces to build it?

It took me a minute to figure it out, but I think that Hummer is actually for the Hulk movie line--the insignia on the doors and hood are SHIELD crests. It is. They are using DTC stuff as generic army troops or I suppose SHIELD agents in the Hulk line.

Funny, they did not show the TRU packs or the TARGET exclusives either. I'm kind of curious as to what the "generic troops" that come with the Hulk figures look like.

I like the gun that Cobra Trooper comes with. Very cartoon accurate.

I like the Viper gloves on the Tele-Viper. I know it was just a cost saving measure but it will give them a more uniformed look with the regular Vipers.

Anybody give a damn about that 12" Flint figure?

The HISS Tank looks like the DTC version. Even has the same lame-ass missile launchers on the turret.

Looks like the same artist who did the covers for those did the artwork for the DVD cover.

Yeah I'm kind of disappointed that TNI and/or YoJoe.Com have ZERO pictures up. I'm not going to sign up at the gijoeclub just to see the pictures. Mod Note: I know everybody is excited to see pictures, but please refrain from posting links to pics at other websites. You have to remember that TNI covers ALL toy lines whereas some sites are only covering GI Joe toys, so it might take us a few more minutes to update. Sounds like they are changing the name of the line to "G.I. Joe vs Cobra" again.

I happy to see Eccleston in this role. The other guy seemed too young.

On the back of the front cover it also gives a brief explanation of events leading to that comic and it talks about Dr. Mindbender creating Serpentor despite the fact that in that very issue we see just then Mindender's own origin. So basically it makes no sense.

I can sort of see Hasbro's perspective here but I wonder what the real root of this issue is. I suspect that this all stems from some collectors themselves who are mad that there are people reproducing hard to find items from the 80s and selling them on ebay. If my suspicions are correct then I really don't see why Hasbro should care as it's not as if they are going to be making such items available themselves.

Got all 3 packs today. I wish they would have put the Rattler insignia on Wild Weasle seeing as how I'm sure I've seen that Cobra symbol with bat wings on his helmet in the comics and they DID put the Skystriker symbol on Ace's arm. Also wish they would of thrown in a gun for Ace. The Crimson Twins are amazing. I didn't realize until I got them that they have the Extensive Enterprises symbol as belt buckles. Nice touch Hasbro. I also like the guns they come with. Much improved over those crappy guns the originals came with. The Crimson Guard is cool put I wish they would of gave him a proper gun. The gun he comes with just doesn't make much sense. This is the first 25th Siegie I've been able to find so it's cool top finally have one (and with a removable helmet to boot). Not much to say about the Scarface figure other than it's nice to see a Blueshirt with hair. The comic that comes with the Siegie/Scarface pack interestingly shows Dr. Mindbender's origin! Until now this was something just mentioned on his filecard.
