  1. It'll probably cost a bundle... I'm hoping the GBP armor comes with a valk, but the price would be double that I'm thinkin' Yamato will release the armor only.
  2. Got it from hlj.com, for 19800yen/approx $180 bucks plus shipping. The going rates on ebay were pretty pricey and I'm glad I waited till an online retailer offered it. I don't think it was a "official" second edition, nothing on the box indicates that it is. Bandai probably just did another production run... BTW - it's a real nice piece, really detailed with alot of gee-whiz gimmicks.
  3. Both are nice but I'd lean towards the Arc170. Makes hunting down pilots and the droid fun.
  4. Buy the stuff that you like. Some folks only buy certain figs (like the clonetroopers/army builders) and some are completists.
  5. Fayetteville Target: ROTS Clone army deluxe Stass Alie speeder bike
  6. Got the Batman Legacy boxset, all four movies for $25 from Wally World.
  7. He's a cool ol skool character that has slightly morphed ability-wise from the regular GLs. Plus his the Sentinel is a big player in the JSA.
  8. Actually went hunting in Fayettenam... Picked up a clear movie FF IW at Walmart in Hope Mills. Left two others (hopefully) for a collector (and not some dirtbag scalper). Skibo Walmart had: - a decent sized movie FF display and the $250 Code 3 Millenium Falcon (don't think they're gonna move any of those... to pricey, but nice). -some of ML9 w/ variant Bullseyes
  9. I open the figs/toys I get from ebay so the type/method of packaging really doesn't concern me. Although, I wouldn't want my stuff blatantly packaged in a way that would damage the toy (not the cardbacks).
  10. I'm thinkin' $50 max... With a vehicle that large the detail would be lacking and left to the lame add-on stickers for detail. Also, the packaging would be so honkin' huge that retailers would probably only be able to stock 3-4 on the shelves.
  11. I'm only picking up the ROTS figs I like, not each and every one. Besides, SW for me is a minor line that I collect. The lines I really focus on are ML/SMC and DCD figs.
  12. This thread is useless without pics @smilepunch@
  13. Not really a NC find, but I scored a Mysterio at a Wally World in Virginia Beach, VA while on vacation.
  14. I'd love to see a rehash of the old Cyclone armor. HG can make some money off the old Matchbox Southern cross mecha.
  15. Just came back from a 3 day camping trip in Shenandoah NP.
  16. Right now, surfin' the 'net. Later, a bite to eat, hit the beach and maybe a lil nitecap with the missus.
  17. Fergot about Bandai's re-release of the Macross valkyries: Still need the Strike, Elintseeker and SuperOstrich valks and GBP-1 armored valk. I was just a kid with no money when they were originally release back in the 80's.
  18. Thanks for the compliments guys... MLCollector13 - Got the display case from Rooms to Go for a pretty penny. Kinda expensive but it looks cool. I still need more display room, so I'm planning on getting some from Ikea. Jase - A buddy's got the Billy bookcase with glass shelves and glass doors and the Detolf display case from Ikea for his anime toys and they look great - just some ideas when you hit up Ikea. I'll be doing the same this weekend.
  19. Yeah, I'm lookin' forward to the Arc-170, Tie bomber, Vader Tie and Jedi Starfighter version 2 (wonder which one?)
  20. Here's some older (pre-ML8) pics of my main display case, enjoy... Hulk Classics on top shelf, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Avengers, There's some DCD figs in there as well. SMC and some misc ML figs are on another shelf. Gotta rearrange my stuff with all the new figs since these pics were taken.
  21. Hulk Classics and SW Action Fleet Line. I want a Maestro, Leader and more artist specific Hulks. The SW Action Fleet line was a killer line: perfect scale (not too big, not too small) had lil pilot figs (even had a pilot fig with removable helmet that revealed what was suppose to be a likeness of George Lucas). Plus the each came with vehicle stands. Too bad they nixed the line, I'd love to see the different versions of the jedi starfighters in the same scale. ...and I'd like another shot of getting an E-Wing fighter and Tie Interceptor without having to resort to some crazy prices on ebay.
