  1. Here are some of my recent 3D printed 4 inch figures. They are all based on the same basic body type. Designed and modeled by me with Modo. Printed on a Form3 with durable material. Hand painted by me. I started putting holes in their backs so I could make more dynamic pictures using figure stands that plug into their backs..
  2. This is a large body type figure I have been working on. I wanted it ot be easy to create different figures from various settings like fantasy, wrestling, post apocalyptic etc. Here you can see a barbarian style figures and sumo wrestlers. 4 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form3. Painted by me.
  3. Sorry for replying so late. I can make the figures to order but they are expensive since they are 3D printed and hand painted. Maybe one day I return to producing toys but at the moment I prefer just making commissions.
  4. I also made a comic book page featuring these characters and my Poodle-Moth hero.
  5. Here are some villains for my superhero line. They are evil arms dealers. I know these are not the first characters based on frogs but I tried to give them their own spin by emphasizing on survival theme. I made both a 4 inch version with 5 points of articulation and a 2.5 inch version with full articulation. I also made an unhooded version for the leader. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form 2 with durable material. Painted by me.
  6. Thanks. The figure still has some small layers when it comes out of the printer but once you primed and painted it, they are as good as gone. The idea behind the figure was to create a bulkier body that could easily be modified into various characters. I still want to refine that idea more next year...
  7. Thanks. I still hope 3D printing will make advances to cheap color printing at some time in the future. Then you can have truly "factory made" feeling action figures.
  8. Another of my 3D printed fully articulated action figures. I wanted to make a body that could be used for large creature types like trolls, ogres etc. I am still not 100% happy with it but it is all right. 4 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.
  9. Thanks guys! This is one of my favorites. I hope to be able to do something with those characters at some point. Also thanks to TNI for featuring the figure.
  10. This is a figure I wanted to make for quite a while. I always liked the idea of a superhero based on a Venezuelan poodle moth. I made a 4 inch version with basic 5 point articulation - technically 7 point since the wings can move a bit as well. I also made a 2.8 inch version that has better articulation since I thought it would be fun to take the figure outside and take pictures of it in nature. The figure is part of a larger line of superhero figures I made. 4 inch scale or 2.8 inch scale. Modelled in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.

    2020 Update

Thank you! That is a good idea. Thanks. The robots were inspired by 70s and 80s japanese sci fi animes I liked. Also thanks again TNI for featuring my work on their website!
  12. Here are a couple of new figures I made in recent months. The Androids and the army characters are updates on figures I made a couple of years ago when I had my first 3D printer. The original figures were all 6 inch scale and had a much rougher resolution. It is fun to see 2020 updates in 4 inch format.
  13. Thanks to TNI for once again featuring my work! Thank you. I would like to do some more but I am waiting for the right inspiration to hit me. I have some ideas with fossil seashells or an armored fish. But they are not quite there yet. Thanks! I hoped to achieve to make them look like that. I loved the "bandwagon" lines of the 80s like sectaurs, rock lords or gobots. There is a bit of them in the Fossil Formers... Thank you! I hope you can fix your printer soon!
  14. I also made a 3D animation with the models. https://youtu.be/sRSsnm3hfLE
  15. I made some jetsleds for my 3D printed fossil formers action figures. They work in both the humanoid and the crab modes. They can also be used as shields. Sculpted and designed by me. To make more characters I added some new head sculpts as well.Creating new characters by just changing the heads keeps in line with the theme that these guys are supposed to look like a cheap knock-off line from the 80s.:-) 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2.
  16. Thank you! Here are some more figures for my fossil formers line. I tried to stay true to make this line look like some knock off line from the 80s. So I did a lot of parts sharing. Then new female versions of the horseshoe crab and trilobite use the same lower body then the male figures. Since 80s toys were known for their vehicles I also added a Mechsuit for the horseshoe crabs to fight in. I hope to do a vehicle for the trillobites at some point as well. Finally I added an evil overlord to the trilobites by making a new head for the male trilobite body. These figures were all done in 2.8 inch scale. Modeled in Modo. Printed on a Form2 with durable resin. Painted by me.
  17. Here are some more figures for this line:
  18. That or some cheap knockoff toys from a bargain store.
  19. There is also a video showing the transformation. https://youtu.be/8KGgYB2x9jE
  20. This is a line of figures I call Fossil-Formers. I love 80s toys and a lot of my figures are supposed to look like the could have been a cheap knock-off line of that time. In this case the figures are a mix of Transformers, Rock Lords and Sectaurs. After a meteorite harboring an alien techno virus crashes on a far away planet its evolution takes a different turn. The animals in the ocean evolve into techno organic humanoids who maintain the ability to transform back into their original form. But war also finds this world. The evil Trilobites overthrow the peaceful kingdom of the Horseshoe Crabs devastating the planet's water resources in the process. Now in this barren new world a small group of freedom fighters continues to face the evil Trilobite Order. Will the discovery of ancient technology from before the war turn the battle? I made 4 inch and 2.8 inch versions of the figures. Made in Modo. Printed on a Form2. Painted by me.
  21. Thank you. Printing usually takes between 6-12 hours. Plus a couple of hours for filing down some impurities, assembling and painting. Now the 3D modeling before is a whole different beast and can take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks depending on the design.
  22. Here are some more figures from the line. I made a 70% smaller version of the main hero and a male version of the police officer.
  23. Thank you very much everyone. Also thank you Toy News International for the feature. Yes the figures were all printed myself on a Form2 printer using their Durable Resin which is very much like PVC which allows me to do the articulation for these guys.
